Well if you are talking about volume as regards to Altcoin trading, then I think binance will still dominate because it has very high trading volume unlike other exchanges. What I don't know is the next after binance.

I referred what's important to traders.

Next will be regulated. This means an authority/accountant is looking into the books.
Also (CTO) Christaan van Steenbergen and (CEO) Gleb Jout don't want anything to do with fake volume.

But of course this exchange (without bots) wants to build up volume over time. And they will do so in the following way:

- marketing after release platform 2.0
- start of IEO's
- free listing of good and reliable projects after KYC
- obtaining an EMI license (Electronic Money institution)
- offer the possibility to start your own project via Next (after KYC)

In this way, volume can also be built up, but in a more natural way. This is ultimately the only way to create a reliable company for the long term. You shouldn't be focusing and judging an exchange based on its trade volume. Keep this in mind, most of the exchanges create fake volume to keep themselves on the top. Instead of focusing on this sector, try to look out for other features that exchange has to offer its users. Binance does have some good volumes and feature compared to other exchanges. But they have been receiving negative vibes ever since some unfortunate events happened to them.

Most new people (investors/traders) will only get interested when marketing and volume kicks in. That's very normal. Therefor there are fora like this where promotion attrackts new people.

Maybe in future Binance can be replaced to another new exchange, maybe with new concept or maybe easy to listed tokens with high volume trading like Binance do in past before they really strict with rules. But after that, problem about US citizen can use it maybe can be problem if government keep force exchanges to follow what they want. (CMIIW)

I’m trading the most on Binance, but more and more is moving to coss.io.
The negative maker fee they introduced last week leads to more volume and thicker order books.
If you want to generate profits with a (market maker) bot, you definitely have to be on Coss. For Hodling, I do the most trades on binance.

i will say KUCOIN exchange for sure. This exchange is good exchange, with user friendly menu, also their support is well resolved. No need much times to waiting whenever complaining about problem there ( my experience). Also kucoing is on the top 10 exchange on coinmarketcaps

I am sure here many say that Binance exchanges have high volumes of altcoin and I agree with that.
Over time, new exchanges always surface and want to be the best. But unfortunately, that hope was never reached. Binance has always been the choice of many people trading there, because it is true that Binance always has a high volume.

maybe binance will last for a long time. but if we talk afterwards we will not know the best in the future. because seeing what is happening now there are many exchange platform projects. one that might have great potential is BEAXY and BCNEX. I am still watching the two new exchanges.

I think that now HitBTC, Coinexchange can be used as a replacement. Well, maybe Merkatox. But now normal shitcoin trading volumes are nowhere to be found.

I feel HEX will get more attention as they provide best of both. Be able to trade whilst having full control of your funds is definitely preferable. Regulatory compliance will be mandatory to be able to attract more new customers and generate actual volume.

Cryptopia was small exchange with well known pump and dump actions. I do not know but for me Yobit seems like a next Cryptopia. Small exchange, many fake coins, pumps and dumps... 

Cryptopia was a shitty exchange, lack of good trading pairs and 90 percent of shit tokens. Right now, there are several big exchanges that is worth attention, but I would not trade on any exchange that is ranked outside from top 10 on coinmarketcap.

NEXT.exchange is currently in closed beta. A group of community testers is selected and will onboard a closed testing environment the following days. Launching our update will depend on the feedback of testers and the amount of improvements required.

So many exchanges to take over that spot and Its hard to tell that because investors will have to choose over a hundred exchanges. I think because of this incident, investors will look now to a good exchanges with a higher volume of trades and make sure that they will not become a victim of this. Cryptopia is not good at all before, its so easy to look for an alternative exchanges.

So many exchanges on the line to fill up the gap ! But we need to trade with cautions now it seems n exchange is safe except the ones you have access to privately which is your personal wallet. I think binance dex should do something great.

Yobit could be a replacement of Cryptopia. Both were proposing a lot of altcoins to trade. Tradesatoshi has also a lot of coins, but Yobit has more users and the volume of trading i think is bigger. But there were problems on Yobit if you wanted to buy coins and send it at your wallet, as their wallet was not synchronized with the blockchain or not updated.

Kucoin was supposed the bext big thing and they had their shares (Kucoin Shares) to receive a part of the revenue they took in but their volume has heavily dropped and they have lost market share to other exchanges like Binance.

From my experience, Cryptopia never worked well for me, I only traded there once and stopped.
Also, there are many exchanges now while only few knows what it means to be an exchange; that is where others helps to promote a coin other exchanges tend to be a dumping ground for any type of coin, while using bot to fake volume.
From my experience Idax is good so with Kucoin.

Bikicoin I never heard about that even in coinmarketcap I dint find then after I checked in google but I found some information even it’s not compromised to try once.

Cryptopia is to small Exchange dude, I would like to say that for the altcoins market always need to get popular exchange. Remember it, If more altcoins will be added any exchange then the volume of altcoins will decrease greatly.
It is known to all of us that the most popular exchange do not accept unless altcoins. their always want to demanding altcoins.

Exchanges like cryptopia, Quadriga and the likes have made people to lose trust in centralized exchanges and looking at it, they are the ones that bring about large volume. Some of the existing exchanges are losing their volume, because no one want to keep fund on exchange.
Well, with time, we might see some exchanges beginning to grow volume wise and that is if the situation of things with hack changes.

If you look at coinmarketcap you can see how many exchanger better than cryptopia so if cryptopia collapse and closed its not really big problem except whos have asset in cryptoia. Dont worry.. we still have so many good exchange with good and high volume also.

From year to year there are lots of markets that provide special sales for altcoins, From the first one I always use enough with etherdelta.com or idex.market ..
and now a new market is starting to emerge, as long as I use the most fee payment according to my market bikicoin which only provides tokens that not all are in the market..

I feel that in the future exchanges, if you want to develop, first of all, there must be a certificate issued by the government. Allow the exchange to run. Second, there is no use of false trading volume, real and effective trading volume. Finally, there is a good safety record, and a sense of experience, I am optimistic about kucoin. and DECOIN. Yeah cryptopia is small exchange i agree with you but you know it was very transparent exchange. Crypto is better than Latoken and Yobit exchange. And i don't think cryptopia going to listed random shit coin.

Bitsdaq ? Bcnex? No one knows for sure until its proven ,the great cryptopia is dead and nothing can be done about it but there are still good altcoins exchanges out there that are very good with better volume ,exchanges like stex ,tradeogre ,btcnia are good altcoins exchanges I bet there are still many more

This might actually be cryptopia practices too and probably reason why they could not survive the hack because if they have SAFU fund like binance, they should not have packed up that way, and that is the repercussion for having fake volume.

Binance that had the largest hacking amount is still surviving it, that shows that binance volume is 100% genuine, which is why they can easily get back on their feet. I think right now, people will just learn to stick with 10 top exchanges that have real volumes and not some of these smaller ones that claims to have everything but little storm came and they could not survive it.

Still Binance will be the number one. People already trust them and even there's some issue about them, it's not become a big issue cause they always fast solving problem.
And now with their Binance dex, I think it will become number one dex too.

Cryptopia is a good exchange in the past but as of the current, there are plenty of candidates that are competing for their volume to be in the top. But Binance is doing great right now even if they faced some problems lately, they are still doing fine and keep on competing as top exchanges based on coinmarketcap.

Okex and Dobi exchange are also doing their best to maintain their ranks which are also a good competitors as the top exchange with the highest volume of altcoin and bitcoin exchange.

Yeah, Kucoin have so many potential to become a big exchange. I'm sure many investors and traders seeing this too. It's hard to compete with big exchange, but slowly kucoin will grow up. I never heard about Decoin before, it's sad though, seeing a new exchange that can't do anything despite having a good result on token sale.

These are very popular exchanges in this market and all are really good when trading. I often choose Huobi and Binance to sell big coins and when I participate in these two exchanges then I don't have any major problems. I think the Huobi and Binance will be the top exchanges that people can be assured of because their customer management policies are very good and if exchange attacked then you don't need to worry too much.

Can't say who is replacing it but some exchanges like nova, graviex are taking the advantage of cryotopia's demise by providing free listing to cryptopia listed coins, this should help them get some users.

I bet you guys don't even make any research about the OP question because my research shows Binance as the top highest altcoin volume exchange while Okex is next despite the exchange previous accident and if you check the capital market you will see that their coin is even doing well in the market.

Binance is one of the top exchange site in the market I will not be suprising if this exchange site will be the next high volume altcoin exchange since a lot of people are being used this exchange site.
I'm also believe in kucoin and Huobi exchange site its have a huge volume with a good platform to use.

There are already exchanges listed on coinmarketcap which have the most market share you can read all about them and also know about their daily volume, liquidity etc, i think there are already too many exchnages live and working and for new exchanges it is very difficult to attract volume.

I also believe that Kucoin has all the elements to become one of the big players within the exchange market, although at this moment it seems difficult to compete against a giant such as Binance, whose dominance seems to be becoming a monopoly.

Another exchange in which I invested a good amount during its ICO period and promised great things is Decoin, which despite being launched since April seems to be becoming one of the biggest failures in the history of exchanges, with 0 volume in weeks despite investing millions in marketing.

Binance certainly still holds the highest volume than the others does not mean invincible and yes of course as you say service must be good and maximum in serving investors and receiving advice from everyone is the key to being able to improve quality little by little, professional work is needed and indeed long to be the best along with the risks that exist today, haven't found another exchange that has good opportunities in the future.

I think Kucoin has good chances and there was information about real volume of exchanges so it was one of first and with very big potential but there are others too coindeal too which is going to USA very soon and will grow.

To start with Cryptopia isn't that a good exchange, maybe from my own experience.
Secondly, any exchange that aims to have high volume, must first have a good number of traders; now what will attract these traders is how efficient and reliable the exchange will be as well as their underlying products and services. A good example is Binance, Okex etc

Take a look at Binance and how it grew you will see that the team really mean business; so any exchange wishing to have high volume as the likes of Binance then the team must be ready to offer good services which will attract more traders and investors.

Maybe Binance, OKEx and BitForex will be the next high-volume exchange. Periodically will continue to take turns, along with the needs of its users. Because each user has a way of trading and also each choice according to their needs. Binance is still a favorite and choice of crypto traders. Even though there has been hacking on a binance exchange, it seems that the problem is over and ends with a wise solution.

The best exchanges seem to be the ones that are highly regulated and have high kyc. Although, that is not the case with Tradesatoshi it seems. Aren't they in the UK?  Nova exchange seems to be in Sweden and I would expect it to be very safe, but I expected that with tradesatoshi too.

Cryptopia wasn't really a big shot in the first place. The volume wasn't massive so talking about which exchange is going to replace it sounds like a hyperbole to me. I only used cryptopia to buy electroneum, the UI wasn't the best too, it lagged in so many ways. Now everyone was saying coinex will take over Binance, but Binance is a million miles ahead of coinex presently in all ramifications. Now some influencer is saying Bitmax will be the next, let's allow these exchanges go to the top naturally, shilling won't help out but smooth operation and good management of the exchange itself will.  People normally want assurance in security, ease of access like using cool exchange apps, low fees and all that.

But I am not sure if any other exchange would have this much funds to cover the loss as a result of a hack. This is because 90% of the crypto users are on Binance and it is because of this huge number of users on the exchange that the exchange has made so much profit. Had it been another exchange, the process of covering the losses would have been very ambiguous.

Binance has its own fund SAFU to fully cover the losses associated with this incident. If the Cryptopia exchange had a similar fund, they could easily survive this hacking

Well, I dint think anyone will miss them that much and they were never even among the top 10 exchanges for ones to be looking for replacement for them, they are gone and that is it, we will continue will the existing ones, but right from onset, Binance has been the most popular exchange in the market and I doubt if majority of Binance users even know about cryptopia.

I never knew about them too until I saw the FUD news about them, being hacked on this exchange, and for them to die that way, it shows they were never strong. What would they have done if they were Binance that they stole over 7000BTC from.

Well, if you talk about easy to use then I will agree with you that cryptopia was an easy to use exchange, but when you talk about the volume part of it, then I will disagree with you because I don't think the exchange has so much volume as stated from the topic, I believe the exchanges with large volumes are not hidden from coinmarketcap and I don't think cryptopia was listed among them, all I knew cryptopia for was for spearheading pump and dump activities carried out by prominent men in the crypto community.

Cryptopia already replaced with lots of Exchanges I think Kucoin is much better and even having lots of feature compare to crypto from quite long back both exchanged were listing low marketcap Coins . But now Kucoin is the topper in middle range exchange.

for now I am still comfortable using hitbtc and hotbit for now and still have a large volume in that market.

There are hundreds of exchanges that can replace Cryptopia.
I do not think that is gonna be as easy as you think. Binance does a lot of research before listing any coins, and that should be another reason for being the number one.

I dont see a reason why we would really need another exchangers yet there are lots of them floating around.When it comes to high volume then go spot out on the top tier exchangers.

Very well said! There's no need to replace a crappy exchange in the first place. There are medium-exchanges that are already existing and better services than Cryptopia. They charged high fees just to list a specific coin but their services were pissed poor. So there's really no reason to fret about what happened to Cryptopia. It is high time that they closed their platform.

Cryptopia was not that good exchange, their most of the coins were a scam or pump dump Ponzi scheme project! Almost 80% of coins was not listed on the CMC! I never like the cryptopia exchange! And now it's gone and we don't any new exchange to replace it because we have got plenty of better exchange than Cryptopia!

I thought.  Binance has the potential to become a high-volume exchange.  after Binance was hacked.  Binance's CEO promised to improve the security system.  now. users can deposit and withdraw again.  and Binance needs 47 days to improve things.

There are other exchanges that are much better than Cryptopia. Therefore, many can safely replace it. The best for me is the Binance exchange.

There are many exchanges that already replaced cryptopia dude. When I first saw the topic, I thought the post will be about replacing a very high ranking exchange with good popularity. Exchanges like cryptopia are many out there. No need looking for a replacement. Lol

So far,there are many crypto exchange listed in coinmarketcap but not all with higher volume exchange are good to use or trade with altcoins. I think IDEX or OKEX are good exchange for altcoins.

Personally i  have never seen cryptopia the way you described it, nothing is there about cryptopia to  e replaced by another exchange. No good exchange will replace such a failed exchange like cryptopia.

See if we are talking about the volume of exchanges. It is not always true that the information about the volumes that they provide, as in most exchanges, bots are involved in wrapping volumes. If we talk about any promising exchanges, I would note that Bitmax is quite a young exchange that managed to establish itself as an excellent exchange and now I trade on it.

Cryptopia use to be a good exchange in the past but the hack of the exchange has made things worse for the exchange. With the fall of cryptopia, I think the next exchange where altcoins will get huge volume is kucoin. Kucoin is really improving and I see it as a perfect replacement.

I think that binance has been playing the leading role and it would continue to do so in near future too, but Kucoin has got very good potential i believe it will be the next big exchange.

I disagree with your opinion.. Probably u are New to Crypto... Cryptopia is no small exchange.. In the good old days Listing on crypto was enough to warrant a old pump.. It's sad the way they went down and it simply shows that any exchange that fails to pay attention to security in this era will become easy food for hackers..

High volume? is that for real? i never saw cryptopia gets a big daily trade volume. I thought that you don't create a comparison between cryptopia and any other exchange site.
There was a lot of candidates but i believe crex24 or coinexchange. both are having small daily trade volume similar to cryptopia but those platforms are much better than cryptopia.
I don't see any other candidates between both of those exchange sites.

How about bittrex and poloniex which come back to be the next high volume in the altcoin exchange? Because I see that bittrex and poloniex already to try to increase their volume trading, but I don't know if it compares with binance because I guess binance still the highest exchange so far. I never think about who will be the next exchange that has a high volume because that is not my purpose to trade in many exchanges and I think it's better we stay focus to make a big profit from the next bull market that might come after this.

It depends really on Cryptopia like if they can handle the situation when they got scam or hack then users will still use this but unfortunately not so that's why many leave this trading site then my example is Binance that handle the scam or hack like they have funds in that so our money is still in good then many users really like that,Moreover always try all here to have knowledge or to know all about crypto

Well maybe was a lot of altcoins which was traded on Cryptopia, but now if cryptopia closed, some of altcoins to be listed on new exchange will have to pay fee, but i think that a good exchange can be Kucoin for them or they can try txbit where the list fee was 0.25 bitcoin last time i checked.

IMHO already for a long time there is no need in such small exchanges. Some rare tokens you can buy on dexes, big alts binance and others.

Bittrex always had good volumes for alts, and their login stats always show you which alt coins had the most change in volume and in price. I use the volume setting to show me the top coins also so that is one very useful way to see which alts are getting popular,,, at least in the terms of trading!

Cryptopia was one of the good exchange earlier but in the recent days there were hardily we found trading volume in millions.So we don't have to find a replace for their loss,there are already many exchanges were emerging it will replace the cryptopia's place.

Binance has been getting a lot of negative attention lately from hacking to intentionally pump old failed IEO coins like fetch, celer and matic to promote its new IEO project. I hope CZ keeps steadfast in his antics. I think Okex will be the biggest exchange after Binance

If you are looking for a small exchange comparable to cryptopia I'd say you should look at stex or trade ogre ,stex has better volume though and many altcoins are listed on there almost same as cryptopia

That's not true, cryptopia was barely alive before it died. There were several other exchanges that have higher trading volume and price. The closure of cryptopia would have negligible effect on cryto trading and price.

You're being confused between altcoin vs shitcoin. It's undeniable that Cryptopia is the exchanges of shitcoins. Its volume was never on top, by the way. There're a number of exchanges can replace Cryptopia in term of listing shitcoins: Coinexchange, P2PB2B, Bitforex, Digifinex, Latoken etc...

I think there are many young promising exchanges, which are much better than Cryptopia even the same Bitmax or Dex from Binance

I have been using it before but now I stopped.
Just one wrong move by them made me feel that my funds there are not secured.

Another is the withdrawal amount of time before it came to me. It took like 3 days before it went to my account. Tried to file a ticket but no answer. Went to their telegram group and no answers but just scammers trying to take something out of me.
One answered though but all he can say is for me to wait. 3 days waiting? I ask him if he would agree to that kind of amount of time if we ever transact with each other. He did not answer.

Now, back to Binance. Dont want to use that shitty exchange Digifinex anymore.

I think Kucoin but even before cryptopia fell apart kucoin is already the better exchange compared with Cryptopia. In my opinion binance is still the best exchange, but for the next high volume exchange? For me is Kucoin, i saw this exchange kucoin have a really big potential to become the next popular exchange.

Prior to the hacking incident, there were already other exchanges that's beating Cryptopia in terms of volume. As someone already suggested, just look at CMC rankings. Anyway, Digifinex seems to be doing fine

There's more with other exchange and I think if its just about the high volume of altcoins, centralized exchanges like Binance will still lead this kind of basis.

Cryptopia was a very small exchange, most of altcoins, that was listed on it, more likely will die. I think soon many low cap altcoins will migrate on Binance chain and their DEX.

Cryptopia fell apart. But before it did, it was an easy to use exchange with fairly high volume.
