The first thing I look at is the general idea of the project and if they have an MVP (alpha, beta) and if the project really needs the blockchain.
Then the team, advisers, experience, previous projects.
The whitepaper should be complete and with good information about the project.

Since I try to select an ICO whose token would be very promising for price growth in the future, for me the direction of the project's activities is very important, and therefore the scope of the issued token. That's why I pay attention first of all. Also, I look, of course, on the parameters relating to the size of payments and the decent value of the token itself. This is the number of tokens assigned to the campaign, and their estimated price on the exchange, and even the number of signatories joining the ICO signature campaign.

As of now, many ICO is launched everyday. And as we investors, we dont want to be scammed by any ICO, so we want to make sure that the ICO that we plan to invest is a legit and has a promising features. May I ask which factor is the most important in evaluating an ICO.
A big factor in the better ICOs is now e can't see which can make it different from another low quality ICOs , because the most of the ICOs are giving full options to show ICO as a guinine platform and having better better better concept behind the base of the coin .
But in actual in my opinion all are the formalities that we can see in every ICOs project .
In my opinion the perfect ICO is that which is spending much amount of money in the advertisement and as we know that if they get better investment then surely will make Thier ICO as a better investment platform to make better earnings , otherwise all are equally like .

I think that the factor you should consider is the ICO team and the members. Other factor is you shoud check it's platform and the blockchain technology it can offer to the public. If you are a bounty hunter, you need to check the bounty manager of such ICO and check on the spreadsheet for the bounty participants if there are many higher ranking members joining.

For me,it is the team.I check for the expertise and the integrity of the team members and advisers. If they have a fraudulent past or organize a ponzi scheme that scammed people in the past, then the project is scamy. Also,I check if the team has what it takes to carry out what they wrote in the whitepaper.

The team profile and background is the most important factor to consider, since most successful ICO is due to the competence of the team. My next is to analyze the whitepapa and prototype of what the money will be use for

The team: who are they? What have they accomplished? Etc. Then how strong and active is the community? Are they just tweeting once in a blue moon? Then, the project. What's the significance of the project? What's it going to solve.

You mean a real product that developed by a real person that at least should be known widely right? Other than that you might have to go for a 50/50 between legit or not. That's true , I would feel so secure investing the money on that kind ico. It's really matter who run the business , what kind future prospect and how the roadmap makes sense for everyone.

At first, you have to see their community, is their community will act with a significant amount, and if their ico rating and profile will good, if they have expert ratings from icobench, if their admin will busy with a regular update then I think that project will hit. But all the time, you will not make the right decision because some scammers are really very smart and talented, like a hashcard project's owner. So, you have to look at them carefully. Good luck.

that's true, but for me is not only that. when i wanna invest in ICO i will see the ICO's rated website like Icobench, ICOtracker and etc
this is important because in this website, people who expert in crypto will give a review about ICO project and giving the opinion about the project, that's a good way to choose a best ICO's

Quite agree, the team is what makes an idea become real and it's a really vital thing, maybe there's plenty of not well-known people out there that has the ability to make the project success but I'll always stick my investment to people who are professional and well-known just incase to prevent scam or a failure projectm im not gonna risk it to someone else ofcourse.

The most important factor for me is the project team and team of advisers. I think it's basic

As on what ive experien on the past , ive joined a lot of bounty ico campaigns with a good solid team and as i notice almost all ico that i came across has always compose of a professional memebers , i guess that is really required in order to attract a lot of investors.

So my point is i dont think a good ico can only be indentified by their team members but rather a good ico for me is depends on thier purpose or usefullness of thier projects.

But even though you consider to check and look for all these characteristics and traits, there is stilll a chance that an ico could lead to failure or become unsucesful due to some reasons.

Before perticipating in any ICO I often deeple research the project. My advice is to pay attention whether the projects has a ready-made product as it is some kind of guarentee that it is not a scam as well as  long termed activity before ICO. Strong team and good community also is a good point to look at.

I believe responsibility and clarity in delivery goals are the most essential factors for an ICO, generating security and motivation in investors for an increase of participation or even invite sympathizers for it. However, other factors may be relevant in certain projects, such as: community, marketing development, project need for humanity and so on.

There are bunch of factors that is germane in evaluating ICOs which some of them are to check the CEO background , project own capital that's to know if the ICO have fund to execute their roadmap , business track record is important to know about there experience and for how long they've been existing before ICO and the whole team and their background lastly if they're just developing a product or have a working product. All the factors listed above is consequential when evaluating ICOs

Well as an investor the most important factor for me is the credibility, legitimacy of identity and experience of each team member. I believe that no matter what the project is if the team member has a experience or all are professionals there's no doubt that the project will succeed.

Not only that I think it's the most important because let's say that the project ended up as a failure and you didn't get a refund and the members faded like a bubble, then you can go to cybercrime groups to report and give the names and pictures to them right?

Second thing is the Concept or the project itself well even though the team is composed of professionals but the concept or the project is lame even though the development is successful but the number of users are low then the project for me is a failure since only few users are only using the platform or their services.

This is all just according to my own perspective and opinion.

1)The product is its applicability in our realities and existing analogues.
2)Сompetitiveness
3)A team with experience in this field.
4)Check social activity, community loyalty.
5)Next, I check the interest in the project, any analysis of sites to visit.

There many ways to find out what is worth to invest in,  most common thing  is to see how unique project is,  and how much team is active in replying to your questions if you have satisfied with that. Then check some reviews and ratings for that ICO. Then you are good to go.

There are many factors that you can evaluate an ICO based on like read up about the news regarding that ICO and if there are any negative reviews about the ICO, do a background search on the dev team and if they are competent enough to develop for the project and look at the community size and if its active or not.

You have to look into the features of the project itself. If the feature is far too ideal that what the reality could offer then the project might be a scam. Well this is not applicable for all investors since most of the projects out there are too technical to be understood by its investors. Take a look at their whitepaper, if the road map and the goals of the project is not practical or is not achievable based from the time frame that it could be a bad sign, even allocating so much time for a single task could also be a bad sign. Cross reference all the information in their website and in their whitepaper; the team's profile, the company, it's partners, any supports about their promises and such.

Scam in ICOs is inevitable when you fail to plan and carryout your research on the proposed ICO(s). The key factors you need to look into are:

1. Provision of useful information in their whitepaper
2. Provision of adequate information on their team profile
3. Making sure that there team is not anonymous
4. You may also need to look into their website for useful information on their products.

There are so many things that you have to do before investing in an ICO first of all do your own research especially about the team behind the project whether they are real or not, usually a successful ICO has a great team behind that. Second, learn their whitepaper this is very important, how does the project can make your rich, I think another factor is popularity, the more popular ICO the more chance for the project to be successful.

how much money can that bet give me.

that is all everyone cares about anyways, the money. so you should see which one can give you the highest reward or in other words which one has the biggest potential of getting pumped more.
additionally this is a gamble anyways so you should know the risks and prepare for the unpredictable results of your bet. this is not an investment when it comes to ICOs.

To me there is no single important thing. All separate things add up to my decision. In most cases I decided not to invest. Based on emotions, I think I like the idea of ending up with a tangible product best, but those ICO's/project are not always the best in terms of ROI. Token metrics give away a lot of information in how much a team is trying to keep for themselves and whether they actually need that money to begin with....in many cases moneygrabs are quite easy to spot.
