Just to add a small note, if you post in the other language than English the test posts should be in the Local section.
There was a case by mdayonliner a few days ago / I can't find that thread, probably got deleted/ regarding the posts in the Off-topic section and the local boards, so basically there is no better way to test it than the "preview" of the post. Off-topic is not preferable to use for such experiments.

I can confirm that sometimes in the preview the formatting is not the same as in the actual post, especially if you use a "space" to make a room between columns when not using  the proper "table" formatting.

My best guess is the Archival section as there is almost no moderation, but I did't got any input when I suggested for such use last time.

Thanks for the help! I will make a test thread in Off-Topic and just use preview to test out formatting.

You don't need to actually start new topic to test formatting, you can do such test anywhere with 'preview', just don't click 'post'.

Start a new topic only to test polls, self-moderation, locking-unlocking and moving to different boards etc.

Remember, Off-topic section may not be held in high regard, but it's still not a rubbish bin. When you're finished with testing delete topic if possible, if not - move to Bitcoin Forum > Other > Archival, see lower left for "move" option.

When you create a post you have two buttons at the end of the text field. One to "Post" your thread/reply, one to "Preview". I created a bunch of threads lately where formatting matters (pictures, code snippets, ...) and used the Preview-function a lot. I didnt find any flaws with it, so you may try it out.
If you just want to write some text and finish it later you can you use a simple plain MS Word document, too. I usually do this to write longer threads for several days and publish them when I think they are ready for the public ;-)

The best advice you can get now is that you should not have a huge urge to make a post you can take your time going through post and also replies and help build your understanding of cryptocurrency and also the standard of post. If you only want to make a test post probably you my end up making a spam post. Just take you time go through threads get cryptocurrency educational I recommend
1. Mastering bitcoin..
2.. Ultimate guide to bitcoin
3.. Global cryptocurrency benchmarking study.
and so much more books.  You can even watch videos about cryptocurrency on youtube you can check this ouy

The Off Topic section is the place you're looking for.

Alternatively, you can edit your post and use the preview button if you don't want to wait 6 minutes after every post.

Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

Where might be the appropriate forum for making a post for testing purposes? If there is a masterthread for this, can someone direct me to it? I would like to test out some formatting options that are available in the forum. Thank you.
