If given a choice between holes I always go for the one in the rear.  I find that it tends to be tighter and leads to less long-term consequences.  Clearly the A hole is the right choice here.

Hey there,

Just getting started with my first gpu build and am wondering the same thing.

What holes did you use to mount the MOBO to your frame? Any other tips ornissues yoy ran j to would be grest to know about as well.

Thanks, hope your build went well for you

hmmm, from the picture id say A, what is that around the B hole? Tin? Is it leading somewhere on the other side? But you specify that there is only 2 A holes, thats way to little. No you should not have to insulate the screws. Thats why im asking about the B hole.

I saw from the back; they are leading to nowhere. Those holes are isolated.

It's logical, it should be 'B', 7 Screws and has grounding, typical screws for the board is insulated

like this, the gold one is for chassis

A are for plastic mounters, B for "steal" + screw. It also depende of your case, but I would use B.
B are isolated to ground.

Hi,

Please let me know what holes are used for mounting the motherboard (this is AsRock H81 PRO BTC R2.0) on the horizontal wooden plank.

The number of:
> A holes are 2
> B holes are 7

Do I need to insulate the screws if putting in either of these holes.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Regards,

Rizwan
