Some are targetting at a similar supply cap like Bitcoin does. Others are more infinite supply as in "tail emission" which is another reputed design known from earlier anonymous coins.
Comparisons should focus on community support as in developer group size, market listings, current useage spotted in the wild, and "insert your favorite metric here, too".
