I am looking for an Indian Exchange that supports Tron USDT deposit. I have checked WazirX, Giottus and CoinDCX. All of them do not support Tron USDT deposit. Since WazirX is part of the Binance exchange I had assumed that they might allow it but when I checked it they were not. Has anyone here used any exchange or can anyone here tell me how to convert Tron USDT payment to INR or any other cryptocurrency?

you convert it from bitbns and also from binance... binance supports trc20 after you receive over there you can excghange for hard fiat by P2P transfer.. its available on binance.. its quite easy and simple

I have deposited/withdrew USDT in TRC-20 on coindcx pro. It was very convenient for me in terms of the transaction fee and the block confirmation time.

So, CoinDCX supports a TRC-20 USDT deposit, this is new for me. I was not aware of it. Do they have USDT/INR pair also and what is the fee for withdrawing INR? How long does it take for the money to credit to your bank account? Can please help me with these questions?

Coindcx Pro Explanation:
1. They have USDT/INR pair. For trading fee structure check here: https://coindcx.com/fees
2. For withdrawing INR to your bank account, till September 2020 they were not charging anything and it would take you around 5-10 mins maximum to get reflected in your bank account.

Method2:
1. You can also deposit USDT to binance and transfer to wazirx at 0 charges and then you can also start trading. I prefer method 2 as they have more liquidity and easy to transfer funds between Indian and International Exchanges.

Thanks once again for the explanation. My firend basically was looking for an Indian exchange to convert his USDT to INR. I have already advised my friend on the second method and he is basically using it for now. I think it will be wise for him to use coinDCX as my friend does not want to use that amount for trading purpose and also doesn't want to pay a lot of transaction fees.

I have withdrawn small sums of fiat and the withdrawals are amazingly fast (averages under 10mins on an usual day).
You can try it. Smiley

It's p2p exchange right? Did you receive money through remitano's bank account or someone else's?
it's p2p with different modes of payments as offered by buyer/seller.
There's an option where remitano wallet can act as the escrow/mediator  which i did because this way the transactions between p2p is instant.
I then withdrew from the remitano wallet so yeah it shows as deposit from remitano's bank account.

Alternatively you can directly interact with a seller/buyer and bypass interacting with remitano bank account.

That is good to know that we have one exchange that is accepting Tron USDT deposit. I have never heard about them, when did they started operating and where are they based?

Please remove the referral link it is against the policy of Bitcointalk. You can get banned for sharing it.
i have now put in the ref free link.
I signed up to the website around 2+ years back.

Cons are are...usdt/inr liquidity is a bit low and the spreads do get quite wide at times.
But no complaints so far from me.

REMITANO  Allows for TRC-20 USDT deposits and also allows fiat withdrawal.
I have used them successfully for both trc-20 deposits as well as fiat withdrawal.

REMITANO website link https://remitano.net/usdt/in

KYC required is as per Exchange standards.

None of them I guess even checked the coinswitch too.

But you can take a look at the LBC traders list there might be someone who is selling or buying bitcoin for multiple altcoins as well.

If you still can't find a way then you have to choose binance where convert USDT=>BTC then sell BTC=>INR on any Indian exchanges.

Thanks, @Bitcoin Smith for the suggestion. I do not understand if Binance allows a deposit of Tron USDT then why Wazirx does not. My friend got paid in Tron USDT and he wanted me to help him to get that amount converted to INR. I have suggested to him the cheapest way would be to convert USDT to WRX on Binance and then transfer WRX to WazirX. This will cost him some money for conversion and transfer but he does not want to lose any amount. The only solution now is to check whether Binance p2p has any buyers of USDT and the charges applicable for conversion.
