E-books are waaaaaay more adaptive to nowdays digitalization. But if you like reading the old-fashion way - common books is the right choice.

many factor comes with that question. When it comes to the price, ebook is cheaper because it comes free in the internet while the printed ones is more expensive. When it comes to being handy, ofcourse gadgets are handy and small so you can read from ebooks there while books are bigger and heavier but when it comes to feels, books gives the utmost feeling of a reader, the cover and the smell of the pages makes the reading worthwhile.

Is reading an E-book on a tablet/Kindle or reading a book (physical) the old-fashioned way preferable?

I'll go for the printed books If I were to spend my whole day at home. Printed books have this energies from dead trees and it's so comfortable to smell it from the inside-out. For travelling, I preferred E-books because you can put a thousand of books in one gadget. It's all about preferences people. Cheesy

If we're talking strictly about reading, and not say listening to the computer reading it for you, then printed books.

Now in terms of convenience, if you're a reader it's easier to carry hundreds of book in a reader than books in a bag.

So like with everything, it depends on the person.

Though E-Books provides ease of use, printed books are better for me. I can't stand to stare at screens of laptop or computers for too long which is not a good thing.
I totally agree with you. Printed books are way better than E-Books. Why? Because in printed books, everything written in there are facts and they are well thought of. Not unlike with E-Books, the facts written in there can be easily changed since it is not printed but is posted and even children using e-books can change it since it is easy to change. This might lead to misinformation. So, I really prefer printed books over e-books.

definitely printed books because nostalgic

I do not have a bad library of printed books, which I sometimes re-read. But I buy new ones very rarely - they are expensive and take up space. In this often I download books from the Internet and read on the tablet.

e-books are hard to read in contrast to normal books, but they are more convenient in other aspects, such as stories
if you have a problem with our eyes go for normal books otherwise use e-books

If you are short on budget and you need some resources, there are many e-books that can be downloaded on the internet. But in reading a book more efficiently, I prefer to read a printed book. Not only because the old fashioned way is more effective, but because reading an e-book is quite distracting especially when using your smartphone where you can go browsing the internet or social media in just a few clicks.

eBooks for-sure!
Lighter, can be read anywhere, can search for keywords, can use text to speech.
Very efficient.

for me printed books is better than e-books. You can read it anytime you want unlike ebook you cannot read it unless you have battery in your phone or tablet.

I think ebooks are better than printed ones. You can bring a lot of books with you and inside a single phone without suffering the bulk of carrying printed ones. You get to have a library on the palm of your hands. There are a lot of free digital copies on the internet (as well as pirated books). The downside of ebooks is that they're dependent on the battery of your device. You have to keep it charged everytime.

I prefer ebooks over printed books because ebooks can be read using cellphone so that you can have anywhere you go and on ebook you only need to do is swipe by your finger to turn to next page and you can read it even when the light is off

Is reading an E-book on a tablet/Kindle or reading a book (physical) the old-fashioned way preferable?

I still preferred the old fashioned way because it is challenging for me to finish the very thick size of the book and my eyes is not that tired at the light of tablet/kindle.

Psychologically or physically, I don't know, whenever I try to read an e-book, I start to think that my eyes' health is getting bad. I find really tiring that reading e-books.

E-books are great because you save on paper, thus save a lot of trees. It's quite cheaper most of the times. But printed books are also very interesting, specially those with impressive drawings like some manga.

Printed books. They don't need batteries and can be passed on and donated when finished with.

I wish I used my kindle, but I just find myself preferring actual books. E-textbooks are harder to study, I think. Harder to make photocopies!

I prefer to use Printed books why? because for me, books that you've already read will prefer to you to hide or keep it and read it again if you want to have a recap or a review for that book. And also for me, it will help you to understand it on more focus because it is printed while e-book is preferable only if you are need to finish or understand something faster. You can focus reading printed text than reading electronic text or book.

I think I have to go with ebooks. Well, its because, ebooks dont consume or require much space. Especially when you are the kind if person who loves to go on an adventure or you always have to be outside because of your job, carrying ebooks would be better and convenient.

I prefer reading a printed books rather than E books. Aside from looking smart, Ebooks have limits. If you gadget is low battery, or shut down, you can't read anymore, but if it is printed, you can read anywhere.

A lot of readers say that they prefer the old fashioned way, but I really enjoy e-books and the more "modern" way to read books and articles. It's easier for me and a lot of the time it's much cheaper to get an e-book.
