DeFi? I chose Link as well as Dot and uni as investments for DeFi. not interested in new altcoins, even though they are fundamentally good but yesterday when I was trading with other altcoins I noticed that DeFi also had a fantastic downturn when bitcoin dumped in a short period of time. from this I no longer add to my investment portfolio at DeFi. at present the average has experienced a high increase. maybe I'm waiting for Dhip to be able to add to my investment portfolio
PeakDefi is a very promising project. I invested in Peak, this month OKEx listing and Binance Smart Chain staking. I'm expecting pump in coming month 
if you are sure, there is nothing wrong with investing in the project, but I still consider the price which is quite expensive, I pay more attention to the DIA project, because their team is active and listed on many exchanges too, and DIA's price is not high enough
It is true, if you look at the price, the DIA token is very appropriate to consider in the next year, but apart from that, I personally will also consider several other tokens such as LINK, XRP, and LTC, because all three are also very good this year. 
If you want to find the best DeFi project in 2021, in my opinion, it is very difficult to choose it, because many project makers who use DeFi are con artists so judging a good DeFi project is not easy to do. But in my opinion, maybe this is a good project, Yearn finance, JACS.tech, UNICAP from the three projects that I see are very good for 2021. Maybe you can double-check this project that I recommend.

Uni will always become the best project. This time the daily trade volume of uni is getting lower than before but the majority of people are still using UNIswap as the platform to swap their token from one to another token. Dia is a good platform but it's too early to think that if DIA has the potential to be the best defi in the next year. Then I will keep yearn Finance(YFI) in the second place

My bet for this longterm DEFI project that will last is UniSWAP. Site is very easy to use and no problem with METAMASK, supports a couple of good coins. I am also eyeing for YFI finance, imagine it surpass the value of Bitcoin!
For the year 2021, the best Defi project is Yearn. finance(YFI) which is already boomed this year. But, still, it has the potential to grow further and may reach the price level of $2,00,000. This is possible if the Bitcoin price grows to the level of $50,000.

DIA is one of the best projects and is one of the projects that make the DeFi hype bigger, but after the DeFi hype is over, the price of DeFi coins has fallen, just like DIA and YFI.Price is not a measure of whether a project is potential or not, especially when the price goes up when the bull market starts, this is a natural thing and doesn't prove anything, and also DIA is a new project, it will take several years to see whether the project is potential or not.

This is the worst partner list project I've ever seen and most likely it will x10 at least. Especially Kylin is led by Dylan Dewdney, a longtime crypto enthusiast (2011). In my opinion the best DeFi project in 2021 is Dia. I earned 45x in a week. I Can not tell you how much happy i am. I am not well expert in Defi but I think fabulous investment income. I am not also good researchers on defi field. I want to know which is for you the best DeFi project for 2021.

With all the DeFi in the market there are only a few that I would say are really good and can be trusted. The first one that really got my interest which I did invest a bit of money in is ChainLink, it’s a really a good project and unlike some DeFi projects where the team are being private, we know the team behind the ChainLink project, so it’s no secret. That one aside, when it comes to growth, it’s also going great, when the crypto market is booming, ChainLink is among the top coins that will boom.
Next project that I have seen that is also good is Polkadot, we know the team behind it are solid, and the project looks promising. Another one is Compound, and my attention was drawn to this one by Coinbase, and after researching it, I would say it’s a good option too, it has been growing.

I somewhat agree about solid ones -aave, link. But not YFI, have you thought about why its platform is still in beta up until now? I am guessing, they don't really have actual development going on and there are only big whales backing up this project why the price is so expensive in the market? So be careful in holding YFI for so long if you have one. At least with aave and link, they both have working platforms and you can see that the team is indeed working on this project. And if you are sincere in investing in DeFi, you need to study the project, evaluate if they are really authentic defi or just riding the hype?

Come 2021 there would be lot of DeFI project in the space. Right now the market value of DeFI is about $12 billion. To me the best project I see at this stage is Nest protocol, a very unique price Oracle.

You just wrote the best DeFi projects I had in mind, although for me I will pick YFI as the first after reaching about $40k+ equivalent to about 4 bitcoins at that time, it moon really fast, I really love the concept behind the project and with low token supply, there was no way it was not going to pump, but sadly after a while it came down crashing even below 1 btc, really shows that DeFi was a bubble after all, can't really trust any of them fully, it's too risky. 1. I guess the best one for 2021 will probably happen in 2021 as well. Most coins have a best moment during their start and not later in their stages which means something that will start in 2021 will have a huge peak. Just look at uniswap, it had a 8+ dollar peak and it was right after it was published, and that was with giving away thousands of dollars worth of it to people because it was just a good one. Something like that will probably happen to a project that will be brand new in 2021 as well.
This is not a guarantee because something that already exists today could increase a lot in 2021 as well but it is rare when something like that happens however it is not rare when a coin that new will worth a lot on early published days so I think try to follow up coins.

Your point is right there are not many projects of optimum quality in defi sector that we can look upon for major success in 2021. Yes there are already successful and established projects like uniswap, aave, compound, yearn, synthetix etc but we need more projects more products and more services in defi sector to really move towards mass adoption. There are two niche in DEFI that I feel is underappreciated for now, the Oracle and the Insurance space, I think one project from one of these niche is going to be the YFI of this year, I believe people need to start positioning themselves well for the next mega bull rally

I also like this coin, despite the fact that a lot of negative events are happening around it. But I am not interested in the technical side of the project, but in the high volatility of YFI, since I am a trader, not an investor. Uniswap also has very good prospects for development with its UNI coin.

Just like trading in stocks, it's usually best to choose the best in class in each sector of your holdings. Think of Uniswap (UNI) as the "AMZN" of the space. Check out ETH Gas station, which gives an insight to where the users are. https://ethgasstation.info/
Uniswap is always #1. Chainlink (LINK) is #7. YFI isn't even on the map.
With Uniswap V3 coming out in 2021, there is no reason to overthink this guys. If you're looking for a Defi play, go with best of breed.

UNI is amazing coin because of its volume in decentralized exchange. many people are afraid to store there funds in centralised exchange due to the recents hacks like kucoin okex. and its gives more advantages like decentralised exchange. so future is bright of UNI coin.

Actually, most of the new DeFi projects offer almost the same service as staking, farming, liquidity pool, etc. There is nothing unique about those projects and they didn't offer any real use case. But Some DeFi project like DIA, Chainlink, AAVE, OCEAN has some real use case. The value of these token will raise slowly. But in my opinion the YFI price was the most shocking one.
Uniswap will probably be the best defi project in the year. It has already gathered so much attention already in 2020 and it looks like it is going to be "the" decentralized exchange in crypto world, it is going to have a great governance token that allows people to vote on stuff like getting paid as well, so I assume it could actually become bigger and bigger.
Of course I can't guarantee anything but it looks like it is doing pretty fine for itself right now and I feel like it is going to do a bit better in the 2021 as well, the future is filled with potential for them and they are really doing nothing short of amazing work. I can't say when it will happen exactly but it is on the right path. Uniswap should just focus on development and rest will come.

Crypto market this year has been very exciting especially when Andre C introduces the YFI project which is truly a phenomenal one gaining a lot of volume in the first few weeks surpassing many top 200 projects in market cap many more copy cat arises until today this yield farming thing will not end this year and I believe this will still very active in the next year with new feature and strategy in every new projects.
Uniswap no doubt, from my point of view, they are the one who starts the current DeFi wave that we know now, and it also affect other Crypto. The price might not get as-high-as Yearn Finance, and Uniswap has slightly bigger market-cap. But, after the long and exhausting effort of many DEX, Uniswap finally makes it. They are now in the top 10 exchange based on web traffic, and their traffic keeps on raising.

Crypto projects are mostly DeFi by nature, but the term has recently become a hot trend in the market. Currently most of those projects are down at least 50% from the ATH price, so I think its trend is over, we will have to wait and see what the new trend of 2021 is.
In recent months, the Defi project has become one of the attractions for investors to invest their money and this positive trend has had a quite positive impact on the development of bitcoin prices and other altcoins in the market, at that time, the Defi project seemed to give a new breath to the rise of cryptocurrency slowly, but now it seems as if the Defi project is also starting to go down along with some fraud that occurs and of course it's pretty good and scammers are starting to eye some official token protocols for them to use as their means of fraud.

I think this is subjective, some defi project may be good but their price have not appreciate while others are not that good in terms of service but their price is very high, but from the look of things and popular demand by the defi community i would say wrapped btc, yearn.finance and Aave, just my opinion, i could be wrong, this is base on my observation, don't hold any of the defi mentioned but i see wrapped btc is per with btc in price.

I don't know if the DeFi project will last long but nowadays there are many DeFi projects that claim they are the best. My advice is to do some more research and buy when you are sure.

I do not have any idea on current defi projects that will be launch next year but I have an idea on the defi projects that been listed in a lot of exchanges like YFI and Chainlink. I recently trade those 2 defi because of their good market structure. I actually gain 32% in just 2 days when the YFI breaks its previous resistance and it now became a support because of the role reversal. I usually avoid defi projects that recently listed because those are the moments where the volatility is so high where majority of the defi are dumping after they listed it in some exchanges. If you are not a risk taker then probably do not try to make investment in defi because for sure you will regret especially if you do not have guts to lose money.
Just put money in defi projects that you can afford to lose, do not try to put your hard earned money because once you lose it, it can affect your psychological capital that can result into quitting in your investing or trading journey. Make a research first and try to analyze the chart before entering in a defi projects.

The Best DeFi Project for 2021 can be predicted or said for now. For Me, Most DeFi projects are still in their very early stage. So let's wait for 2021 to come and we will be able to know some good DeFi projects by then.
I also still can't predict the best defi coins in 2021 because now many defi projects have sprung up, and I'm not sure the defi project will survive or not in 2021, for now I only keep DIA defi coins in my wallet
Yearn finance has dominated the DeFi this year but for 2021 I will take a chance with DeFi Yield Protocol (DYP) the features of its project is very unique and have a strong foundation and the project is backed with ethereum mining farm so no need for softcap and hardcap in their sale. DYP is my 2021 DeFi.
Everyone is having a different opinion and i am not an big expert on the Defi market and i got attracted with the pump and dump and having known the market in the past and how well i am aware of the situation i thought of experimenting with some coins and i am farming some coins and lets see how far it can go and it would be fun to make some profit when the market hits the ceiling.

Chainlink should be out of topic, so we can't compare it with other coins. DIA is my second choice. My opinion is for future DeFi pump, new legit DeFi projects. Radix projects are also a good project. We can finish our calculations on listed DeFi projects but new altcoins are highly demandable. All investors were jumping on new altcoins as long as hype exists. I want to know which is for you the best DeFi project for 2021.

I do not like UNI swap. A unique project that was able to rise on a par with centralized exchanges.

For me the best Defi Project for 2021 would be YFI, even though it was subject to pump and dump, the previous achievement of its market is insane. I believe it has not waned yet and besides it is also one of the leading project that was recently copied by other developers.
The Best DeFi Project for 2021 can be predicted or said for now. For Me, Most DeFi projects are still in their very early stage. So let's wait for 2021 to come and we will be able to know some good DeFi projects by then.

Absolutely correct. DeFi especially those financing is just like a ticking time bomb ponzi. This kind of project that promising a crazy APY for staking is meant to be crash once there is no new token holder come and stake in there pool.
The most dangerous project of DeFi is YFI, YFI itself don't have a real value because its real use case is for voting power so its price is base only on speculation of holders.

Long term It would be good to think of something else. Because I think finding the best altcoin in advance is not an easy task. There is a lot of altcoin in the market and a lot of new altcoin is being added every day so you have to do a lot of research to find out which will be good for you. If you have already bought Bitcoin, then it may be a good decision to hold Bitcoins without worrying about altcoin.
In my portfolio there are only a few defi altcoins that will be my choice in 2021. First I chose Chainlink because it has proven to be the strongest defi during trend defi with promising project developments. Second, I chose Uniswap and YFI. The current popularity of defi is not as hype as it was a few weeks ago because it has been tarnished by project scamer with unclear defi ideas.

Just a suggestion from me . If you can buy Bitcoin as faster than you can it's better to stored it than to invest in many new project . I feel that 2021 will be big for Bitcoin alone if you want to invest in other altcoin better choose only the top 10 altcoin and don't go to newest project if you don't want to feel regret it when they dumpbtoo much and few altcoin will only survive.
Lack of good research is why many believe that DeFi projects have nothing good to gift the crypto world but that's a lie, there are over 10 high quality DeFi projects on my mind right now and I believe they are worth mentioning

It feels like DeFi was a bubble all along but that's because many DeFi projects only took advantage of DeFi success to raise money, they have nothing big to offer.

I don't trust DeFi projects anymore, I believe it's over for many DeFi projects already, only very few are strong and I don't see anymore adoption on DeFi projects like before, its better to focus on other use case and utilities, forget DeFi projects for now

It's very interesting think but my choice will always the same. Uniswap will always be the best defi as it's giving a very good funtionaility for its token to be used on its governance.
The product is also making all of uniswap users will able to get the passive income from provide the liquidity in the market.

It all depends how long DeFi projects can sustain their performance. One big issue and this bubble will explode and small investors will lose a lot.
At the moment there are three projects that I think will be able to perform till next year. The first one being UNI, the second one is YFI and the third one is LINK.
Other than these three I do not think any other project at the moment will be able to sustain their performance next year.

For the year 2021, the best Defi project is Yearn. finance(YFI) which is already boomed this year. But, still, it has the potential to grow further and may reach the price level of $2,00,000. This is possible if the Bitcoin price grows to the level of $50,000.
ChainLink is the best DeFi project, no one come close to this project yet, others are trying buy for me Chainlink is the best, so many new DeFi projects today are all about high yield investment, no real use cases at all, Chainlink has Oracle date
