In my opinion, bitcoin and bitcoin cash have their own advantages. Bitcoin is a fast, cost-effective way of transferring accounts to others conveniently. In particular, bitcoin brings high profit when its price increases as high as today. Many people have invested in bitcoin.

Bitcoin Cash (hard fork) is a result of a prolonged disagreement on how to handle the bitcoin scalability problem. A group of people not content with the new Segregated Witness feature decided to increase bitcoin transaction capacity eight times, on a different blockchain without it[1].
BitCoin Cash is an escape from the problem(scalability problem) and not solution.

Up to now scalability is not a big problem so there is no need for Bitcoin Cash (Bitcoin won Grin)Perhaps Roger Ver  has another conception.

In the future, the following solutions are feasible:

  • LN payments: bi-directional payment channels which allows payments to be securely routed across multiple peer-to-peer payment channels.[2]
  • federated sidechains:don’t require any changes to the Bitcoin consensus rules. Merged-mined sidechains, which have not been implemented yet, do require a backwards-compatible soft fork in order to transfer funds between Bitcoin and the sidechain.[3]
  • hub-and-spoke:is a form of transport topology optimization in which traffic routes are organized as a series of 'spokes' that connect outlying points to a central 'hub.' [4]

Bitcoin and bitcoin cash share the same transaction time span before the community start to support the Lightning and SegWit. With the exclusion of Ethereum, Augur etc bitcoin is stil the best in transaction aspect.

As of last year BCH was the best in terms of transaction but not any more because BTC 1 confirmation was estimated to take 10 minutes while BCH does not have consistent confirmation times and it may take longer than expect to get 1 confirmation.

It would really depend on what matters to you when you transact. Hugeblack already points out the immense technological upgrades already present and upcoming with Bitcoin. These aren't planned for BCH,meaning that soon enough, they will be left behind for their short-sightedness.

If quick and cheap txs are what are important to you, you can have that with Bitcoin, and soon even negligible delays and cost with LN.

Leaving aside my own obvious biases towards bitcoin, this is something you should consider: how many people would be willing to accept your coin. At any given moment, I could spend my bitcoin at any crypto friendly merchant, user, service. Even the sites that support BCH accept Bitcoin.

I can't name one merchant or user I transact with that would accept BCH. Even piratebay laughs off BCH donations.
