so in my opinion its more easy to mine than purchasing coin here in india. you can start with cpu on alternate coins like xpm or if its ok for you to invest in harware start with amd 7950 on lite coin. you can also choose coin according to profitablity

True, but it depends on electricity price in your area. Also, you may use international bank wire directly to exchange to save troubles with 3rd party

Dear Friends,

Purchasing coins its not easy. prior getting coins you need to:

1, get internationally accepted credit card not debit card for getting accepted on payment processor like payza, paypal etc etc.

2, need to create account on payment processor like okpay, payza, liq, etc etc and not only need to register but also have to get verified Smiley

3, have to find out and create account on bitcoin exchange accepting international users.

4, need to upload fund to the exchange after getting verified using various third party exchanges and currency sellers most of them are scamers even i get scamed by one of the most named exchange . please find the name of the scam exchange below so that every one will be aware: evidence also posted below:

( Dear Concern,

my account is showing disable and asking to contact support.

And also got refund deposited using skrill but no update about deposit made using neteller. Please find the transaction details below:

Type:    Transfer to merchant   Transaction Amount:    140.00 USD
ID:    106384201319282
Card:    --
Description:   VirWoX
Date:    11-11-2013
Status:    Accepted
Effective FX Rate:    --
Service Fee:    --
eWallet Amount:    140.00 USD

Please help me in enabling the account. Waiting for your valuable reply. )

above was the copy of mail send to virwox if any one need any prrof i can forward the screen shot and emails: so be aware of currency exchanges and dont deal with virwox.com they are scamers.

5, and if able to find genuine exchange then also we have to bear heavy exchange fees .

If some how there was a way to force CPU only, then you would have people with HUGE CPU farms pushing the little guy out.

As long as there is MONEY to be made, there will always be people trying to find the most efficient way to get at it.

Mining is a cut throat venture.  You don;t know who's going to stick it to you, or what's going to happen.
- Will the hardware you bought be delivered on time or a year late
- Will the company you bought from go under
- Will some cheaper solution come out before you get your equipment
- Will the BTC stay at a level that you can ever regain your ROI
- Will the equipment arrive and burn up, causing a 2 to 4 week delay as you watch your profits go to someone else

With upwards now of $2,000,000 USD available to miners per day, even the smallest amount earns them something.

Your struggles of mining from India are less then the struggles from the US apparently.

I bought in Sept 2012,  and finally receive my equipment in late august 2013.  I paid 300 BTC for the equipment (which if i had held, would be worth a lot more) now all I have been able to mine back is 20 BTC.  I did mine like 60 BTC over the past year with some FPGA equipment.  All total I have cashed out about $8K so I doubled my investment.  However if I had the 300 BTC, who knows what I might have had.

So while mining looks great, know this there is an easier way to make it.  Just buy some BTC and hold them until BTC reached $10,000 or $50,000 USD.

isn't XPM (primecoin) an altcoin where there still isn't gpu mining? meaning you could get into that with just your cpu rig. you can also trade XPM on btc-e for example, and maybe some other exchanges

just look up primecoin mining

yes thats right

Bro we have to deduct the cost of electricity and cooling from the 170$ and off corse the cost of power backup too after that it don't seems profitable. thats why i am searching for alternate coins easily minable with C.P.U and if i get one i will make a pool with 0% fee for all want to start playing / earning with crypto currency Smiley

LTC might be profitable, I'm mining with a i7 4770, only 50% CPU and I get around 80 KH/s.

Power consumption: 0.2 kW * 24 hr * 0.05 $/kW = 0.24 $/day

I get around 0.05 LTC/day, at current rates ($7/LTC), makes me 0.35 $/day.

Someone has to want your coin for it to be worth anything. Bitcoin and Litecoin are the ones with most interest.

Anyway take a look at http://www.p2pool.org/ you might find something that takes your fancy there.

No free pc in 7.5 Months - Just Return of Investment - And you forgot tho add electricity.

In other works based on current price you begin making profit after +/- 8 months with the GPU mentioned above.

But in reality it will take more time because of increasing difficulty (to mine) (given the price of LTC won't change)

it shows investment of 1284 $ and out put of 170 $ Sad

A free computer in 7.5 months. Why the sad face? Money in the bank wouldn't pay 100% interest in 7.5 months!  Wink

You could buy a few bitcoin mining machines instead if you want a better return.

Totally agreed but there was also a problem the initial miners who used gpu to mine bit coins are using them for litecoin currently thats why difficulty increased and it again become not possible for normal user to get profitability. if they wanna make some coins they need heavy investment like amd 7990 or equal ant to mine some coins below is the current analysis of estimated coin generation / day using 7990 which cost around 80K I.N.R ( 1,284.09 USD )

Expected Rewards
24 hours   0.73639072 LTC   5.68 USD
7 days   5.15473506 LTC   39.77 USD
30 days   22.09172168 LTC   170.44 USD
Solo Mining Stats
Expected Time per Block   65 days 04 hours
Probability of a Block in 7 days   10.18%
Probability of a Block in 14 days   19.32%
Probability of a Block in 30 days   36.88%

it shows investment of 1284 $ and out put of 170 $ Sad

i strongly believe crypto currencies must be accessible to every one.

So did the creator of Litecoin, that's why they designed it so it would be expensive to make a FPGA/ASIC, so everyone can make coins with off the self PC components.

I am really interested in finding answer to my question because i really believe that know bit coin mining is not something easily achievable to new comers. Because of non availability of hardware on easy way. If any one from India or similar countries want to buy miners they first need to buy bitcoin at higher rates and even have to face scams in the deal and if at last gets success in buying bit coin then again have to wait for at least 15 - 20 days to get easily available mining boards like ASIC blade in other countries. And i strongly believe crypto currencies must be accessible to every one. That's why i am searching for cpu earn-able crpto and at present working on xpm. If any one have better options please let us know so that every one will be benefited. thnx in advance for replies Smiley
