When Steem went up like crazy - I just wanted to short the hell out of that.  Total garbage.  But I dont' know where to get a Steem short.  Now I see Monero going like hell.  Same thing, I'd love to short the fucker.

Which is the most comprehensive shorting platform that is somewhat reliable too?  I am going to make an account today.

Unfortunately the options are limited. Polo is your best choice atm as it has a few alts you can short.
If there was a place to short random shitcoins most of the traders would be millionaires.

forget steem.. its not an altcoin.. its just a "token" used within their website.
many see steem as a scheme rather than a viable currency, so dont waste ur time on it even if we all know its value is going down.
anyone disagreeing about my opinion of steem are usually steem holders, praying they have not bought something guaranteed to lose.

I am disagreeing with you because you are not correct. steem is not only a token. it is proper altcoin and it is not being used only within the site.. steem is listed in bittrex and being trad and buying selling there very much..
seems you know nothing about steem coin.

If you are talking about shorting monero than there is bittrex and poloniex which have listed monero for exchange. Poloniex have limitation on daily deposit/withdraw.

There is no margin trading on Bittrex, only on Poloniex.

poloniex are pretty stingy with what they allow you to short but xmr is one of the coins you can on there. i wouldn't wanna do it on the crappier exchanges.

here's the market - https://poloniex.com/marginTrading#btc_xmr  i guess you need to be fully signed up to do it.
