Both Bitcoin and Litecoin have Segwit and Lightning Network. It is theoretically possible to do a direct p2p exchange without using exchanges sites. That would be "the best" way to do it in my opinion, but i guess it would need a wallet with both coins and LN support?

Of course the old fashioned way of using a normal exchange works...

Non-custodial BTC Wallet
I think it's always good to simulate websites such as changelly, easyrabbit, coinswap, instaswap, etc, because there will be no kyc, no account creation, fast and reliable services. Shapeshift used to be good, but now requires kyc.

Binance is good if you have high volume.

You can use your local exchange website for exchange your cryptocurrency. It is the best and most safe to exchange your local exchanging website. Or you can use binance, or any other exchange platform. You can also try exchange sections on this forum. But becareful because there are many scammer in this forum. Try to use escrow.

Thank you

See on the two tabs "Market with fees" and "Market with no fees". You can use coinomi's integrated exchange and just choose between shapeshift and changelly. They are built in so you don't have to register, just download and wallet and save your keys/phrases.
This is not true you have to register first on shapeshift before you can use their services (KYC is required). Changelly have several scam accusations their trust page says it all better stick to the reputable exchanges like binance if you don't want to lose your coins.

If i'm going to trade some alts for BTC I would use cryptox.pl because of their low withdrawal fees(0.0001btc). They're not that big though so liquidity could be a problem if you're trading tons of LTC.

I have Litecoins and I want to convert that to Bitcoins. Which is the best platform where I can convert LTC to BTC? Please suggest me.

I would just choose an exchange to try to convert my Litecoin into Bitcoin, and I know there are ways to do it but that the only thing I know that is an easy way.

The easiest way to do that is through exchange. Just choose a reputable one from the list: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/litecoin/#markets. Keep in mind that some exchanges might ask you to go through KYC procedure. Others can have rather high fees. The last exchange I used and was totally happy with was Hitbtc. If you exchange ltc for btc, I believe you don't need to provide any identification. I exchanged some tokens for btc there. It was fast, cheap and anonymous (I guess I only provided an email address). The downside is that it's not designed for newbies, so it might take some time to figure out deals and transfers of money between the accounts.
This website is also quite trusted when it comes to exchanging top cryptos, but I am not aware of their policies and they are not available in some countries: https://www.coinbase.com/.
Good luck!

If you do not want to use exchange you can take a look at bestchange.com
It has rating of exchangers based on user reviews. I am not sure that this is the best option but one of them.

You should use exchange website or app so you can easily convert your litecoins into bitcoin. But, in order to convert your litecoin into bitcoin you need to create an account and if you have huge amount of litecoins and want to convert it into bitcoin you should verify your account so you can also withdraw huge amount of bitcoin.
