I'm leaning towards Pfizer/BioNTech, but it's not listed.

wtf ? lol . thats a literal anti virus but like most posters above , i dont feel the need of a third party antivirus . i just need the default antivirus that came with my system . i have no problems with it so far  .

Windows defender seems to be the only antivirus you need nowadays and in my experience the other antivirus programs do nothing but sap system resources. I prefer keeping the antivirus produced by the same company that builds the underlying operating system, as they actually have much more incentive to fix any problems or it will damage their reputation in other ways. McAfee was quite possibly the worst software I've ever seen and regularly made my PC run slow in the past, it was so much better after getting rid of it.

Which is the best quality antivirus that has the ability to detect most viruses and keep safe of your all documents. Personally i have been using kaspersky antivirus for a long time but at some point i saw a reaction to the deletion of some document.

Here is some list of top good quality antivirus:
1. Bitdefender antivirus
2. Norton antiVirus
3. Kaspersky antivirus
4. F-Secure antiVirus
5. Trend Micro antiVirus
6. Webroot SecureAnywhere antiVirus
7. ESET NOD32 antiVirus
8. Norton antiVirus

Opf my next target Bitdefender , so what do you think? It's good ?

McAfee antivirus should be at the top of the list of good quality.
I use McAfee to protect my laptop, because it can get rid of malware viruses & other very annoying viruses.

In my opinion, all antiviruses are good and the most important thing is that we have to update.
I personally use Symantec antivirus.

Never heard of that before. Is that some kind of a USB antivirus or a full pledge system security software.

Windows Defender is enough if you're a responsible user.

You don't visit any website that seems to contain malicious links and you're not downloading any random files on the internet.

Windows Defender isn't for someone who can't control himself what he do on the web. I've been using WinDef for years.

It's 2020, and the problem with virus on windows haven't be fixed, antivirus doesn't work at all because their work under a database of virus, but if the virus is totally new then the computers with windows are vulnerable. That's why i think the solution isn't in the antivirus, the solution is the operative system. That's why linux is the right way to roll if you don't want to deal with virus.

Avast is rather good if you are not waiting for something special from this antivirus and antimalware software.

Avast is great, I am using it too now. The free version has a lot of features. In my opinion is a good antivirus program for everyone you doesn't want to pay and just uses a free software.

You will get a lot of different answers but for me it is Malwarebytes.

It has kept my computer malware free for over 10 years with no noticeable hit to my computers performance.

I would like to go for ESET NOD32 antiVirus. I'm using it since year 2017 for my laptop and have found satisfactory result, that I'm loking for. Overall ESET NOD32 is a good antiVirus with affordable cost even they provide free trial "Every Now And Then"
I've tried using ESET.

And I'm satisfied using them.

But by chance, I just uninstalled it again. I want to retain myself having the discipline and practice of avoiding unwanted websites and downloading files.

Today, there are a huge number of anti-virus, and for the most part, they are useless, antiviruses need large companies who want to protect valuable data, and the usual hard workers users if you have nothing to hide except for the folder with homework at 17gb, if you know what I mean)), nothing apart from the usual worms and trojans you can hardly find a mega cool virus that destroys your PC, it will be sufficient to protect ordinary browser extensions, like Yandex browser protect protection. Now I want to make out a few antiviruses that should be avoided in advance I want to say that the ideal antivirus is not, because, first, the virus creates, and only then to develop a tablet, there is already working community, who had to apply to the anti-virus company, and I must say that the Kaspersky Lab in the one step ahead.

I just don't click on any popup ads, I have ad-blocker and when I'm browing... choicier websites I'm just more careful.

I do install a few suspicious .exe files every now and then but I assess the risk everytime. So far, so good.

In fact I would like to commend you for posting this I seldom see people who are in windows and yet do not have an anti virus installed it can be done really as long as you know every warning sign and you are educated on what to click and not to click and what to install and what are not you can also have a deepreeze installed and you don't have any anti virus and it will work fine.

But yeah i am  a Norton user  and also TrendMicro antivirus .

though i have some others in my personal list but yeah,so far i am contented on my using.

I used to have AVG as my antivirus.
It was decent and it removed a lot of malware from my computer. However, I noticed that all antiviruses were very heavy and it was harming the performance of my computer so i uninstalled everything and now I am very careful with the exe that I am installing on my computer and the websites that I visit.
Also in my list,i use AVG in my Lappy since that is the advice of my computer technician Friend .

Ditto. Being behind a good firewall helps, too.

There is no truer truth than this. Its amazing how many decades of the same have passed, and people still think there is nothing wrong with certain operating system being always a malware nest. As if a bunch of antivirus would solve the problem.

Hint: McAfee became known to the IT world for his MSDOS antivirus in the late 80ies. Its been THAT long, i clearly remember printing the WHOLE list of viruses the tool could remove: 11.

Have you learn anything yet? Go Linux and say goodbye to malware already...

I installed Kaspersky and a lite antivirus from China for daily use!

Don't know how you using the antivirus,

for me, the Kaspersky is closed most of time, and only use the lite antivirus, everything is OK for years of running!

But there were many fake malware projects in the Altcoin ANN forum last year,  the Kaspersky helped to kill those backdoors!

I think that Kaspersky is the most thorough and exhaustive software, as it is not just an antivirus, but a complete Internet Security suite. But it is expensive and it consumes a lot of resources from your PC. But if you are willing to spend money for it and if you have a power PC, it's a great option.

BitDefender is a Romanian antivirus and a very good one. It was developed many years ago and I tried it back then as a curiosity for seeing how good is this Romanian product, as I am also Romanian. Surprisingly, it is very good. Now I have it installed on my phone.

Other good products are also Avira and AVG, but they aren't listed in OP. These ones (and BitDefender as well) have also free versions - not trial, but free. I'd advise though to choose an antivirus included in an Internet Security suite, not just a simple antivirus software. Security suites offer more protection than a simple antivirus is able to, including web protection, mail protection, firewall, ad-aware protection and many other features.

Also, as an issue of note: OP, you posted Norton antivirus twice, at positions 2. and 8. Smiley

I use avast until today...
I have been very comfortable using avast, so far I have found no threats at all on my laptop, I use avast paid and only pay $ 12 / year.
Since i used it with free Grin trial
$12 for a year? Sound like good even if there has comfortable performance. My and my friend very impressed in bitdefender antivirus plus as like first time.

Which is the best quality antivirus that has the ability to detect most viruses and keep safe of your all documents. Personally i have been using kaspersky antivirus for a long time but at some point i saw a reaction to the deletion of some document.

Here is some list of top good quality antivirus:
1. Bitdefender antivirus
2. Norton antiVirus
3. Kaspersky antivirus
4. F-Secure antiVirus
5. Trend Micro antiVirus
6. Webroot SecureAnywhere antiVirus
7. ESET NOD32 antiVirus
8. Norton antiVirus

Opf my next target Bitdefender , so what do you think? It's good ?

I do not use any antivirus as I feel they themselves are viruses. With technology getting improved day by day, every browser now has a built in anti malware and anti spyware scanner, the rest is taken care by Windows defender.

For windows users, there is a Windows defender. It's free and it's good to use based from what I've heard as long as you are also a good user and don't download any random stuff on the internet.

Currently, I'm in trial with ESET and will buy a license if I think it's good before the trial expires.

Windows defender is enough  for security for windows user but problem is we are maximumme user use to windows cracked version for save money also windows  defender is no supported some third party useful application.

ESET internet security are good for the windows user and comfortable price is I hope it is another best service provider.
Yes.

That's for Win Def users and that is why I have advised to be careful in what you download and the source of it. You will not know if it contains a malware or adware.

And my experience for ESET, so far so good and it has detected the old file that I've downloaded years ago that contains which seem to be a miner.

Most of the time Anti virus will delete some of the system file while cleaning and it ends up crashing the OS, personally I had experienced this many time so I just stopped using it anymore.

Yup. Been using Windows Security Essentials for over 5 years without any issues. As long as you stay away from those dodgy stuffs, you'll do fine even without an AV.

But when it comes to ransomware, you might want to consider getting one that is quick enough to block the attack. That's when WSE falls short.

I also like Kaspersky Anti-Virus. Before him I used NOD32, but he was not so impressed with his results.
