I don't think major companies accept bitcoin, because of the fluctuation of the prices in bitcoin, and many other reasons.

Major companies like betfair, bet365, ladbrokes, dont use bitcoins for this reasons mainly.

Are there any big betting sites that accept bitcoin for deposits?

E.g. Ladbrokes, William Hill, Bet365, Betfair etc.

Any of the really well known sites starting to accept it yet or do you think that is still a long way off?

its very long way because most of these sites have to much business in USA and they don't want to have any trouble with NSA Cheesy

I think there's a long way to go until the "big players" will start accepting bitcoin, mainly due to the legal status of it and the fact they plan to go back into the US market once it gets open again and i doubt if they want to risk it.

Bitoomba is soon to launch its own sportsbook which will cover all of the popular sporting events so stay tuned Smiley
