Do not trust google Cheesy Many of these listed cryptocurrency exchanges are just quite middling. I always use Kraken or CoinDeal because I consider them as a reliable exchanges. Now I recommend especially the second one - CoinDeal because of its initiatives for users. For example, if you have some CDL Tokens, these could lower your fees.

Thanks for the list.

I mostly trust: KuCoin, Binance, HitBTc and BigONE. I have a great experience and KuCoin tries to support regulation in the crypto industry.

There are many Exchange Side everyone exchange on the side of their choice But I think the best exchange side is Binance Here you can trade a lot easier and also try not to limit the trade to one but a few. Binance is much older and more reliable than it was before it was even populous to humans.

There are tons of reviews and threads about those exchanges you mentioned. If you want to build a credible list then you should research each one of them on your own.

I'm kinda confused with the title though, I thought you're looking for some exchanges to exchange your alts that are not listed on any reputable exchanges. Even though that seems to be the goal, you're taking a longer step imo. Why not focus on what alts you own and then start filtering from there?

Which exchanges recommended in this thread or recommended at CoinGecko's top exchanges list that support the above altcoins?

Obviously I wont find a single 1 good recommended exchange that conveniently support all the above coins at 1 place/exchange however I don't mind signing up to a few different good exchanges that can accomodate the above coins.

That sort by liquidity link you provided lists HitBtc exchange as no.1 however I keep hearing HitBtc is a shady exchange with high fees. You sure that link is a good criteria to use to judge exchanges?

Does the coingecko link list exchanges that shows true volume of the exchanges not fake volume?

Hitbtc is a piece of shit that no one should be using. I'm not sure how the listing sites measure liquidity but I'll guess it's by adding up all the publicly available buys and sells which any exchange could easily fake.

The exchanges they're trying to drive out couldn't be bothered to provide fake order books. They'd run trillions in volume 1c above an order book $10 deep.

I really can't believe Hitbtc has a large amount of custom. Look at how many mentions Binance gets here. Hitbtc is hardly ever mentioned outside its own thread and the subject of that is mainly about what absolute pricks they are.

Binance is a good one, for now, but there are the others (older ones) are good too, such as Bittrex.

By the way, you can use the following sites to observe and search for good exchanges:

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/liquidity/
I recommend to use liquidity as criterion for exchange rankings, instead of by reported volume or adjusted volume.

A good alternative is https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges
With that one, you can filter over exchanges between centralized and decentralized by using the Filter option.
By default, that site gives you a mixed list of centralized and decentralized exchanges, but if you want to search for decentralized exchanges only. What you have to do is choosing the option "Exclude Centralized".

There is another advantage of coingecko is Trust score (Beta) for exchanges. It can help you have a quick overview or impression on exchanges but it is not enough. For your safety, you have to move to the next step by searching for scam accusation on the exchange you want to use, with some keywords:
Bitcointalk.org + name of that exchange + Scam accusation

But, the warning is: "Never store your money on exchanges longer than you have to do". Withdraw your money from exchanges immediately whenever you finish your trading plans. And if you decide to store your money on exchanges (that you should not do), you have to regularly login your account, email and visit that exchange to keep being updated with policy changes on that one. Some exchanges can change their policy and if you don't follow their rules, your account and your money might be locked, frozen, etc.

- CoinBase

- Changelly

From the list above for filtering, which exchanges can we rule out that fall into the next sentences: not really an exchange service or has only a few altcoin wallets or little or no altcoin trading pairs or finally you simply believe the exchange is shady and shouldn't be in the google search results above along with explaining your reasons why.
The former so-called exchange is a pain in the a** and the latter one falls under the shady category [not vouching for others on the list]...

From your list I felt Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin and Bitstamp are best. Other than that there are exchanges like Changelly, Coinswitch, etc which have more trading pairs. Though these exchanges are not on the top search, they are actually good exchanges with more Altcoin trading pairs . You can check the reviews about the exchanges and do some more research about the exchanges before making your decisions.

Binance is certainly the best in your list.
However, if you plan to store some money in an exchange, try to split between a few of them.

I would use Bittrex, Bitstamp and Binance from your list.
Bitstamp is oldest exchange which is still in activity.

Binance, Bitfinex, Kucoin, Bittrex will do for me for altcoin trading pairs.
Just first if they allow you to trade, like KYC things based on your country.
Second, the VOLUME, some traders this is important for them.
Identify also the exchange that will suit on you, like how friendly their user interface and volume to.

I never heard about Changehero, and I don't know what that is

In other list you provided, I don't know about Trade by Trade and Cryptopay.me

I guess people need to research on internet before they answer here

Hi,

According to a google search for 'Best Exchanges' I get the following 1st page results:

- Binance

- Bitmex

- Cex

- CoinMama

- CoinBase

- OkEx

- KuCoin

- Bittrex

- Changehero

- Bitpanda

- Kraken

- Bitstamp

- Gemini

- Changelly

- Bitfinex

- Localbitcoins

From the list above for filtering, which exchanges can we rule out that fall into the next sentences: not really an exchange service or has only a few altcoin wallets or little or no altcoin trading pairs or finally you simply believe the exchange is shady and shouldn't be in the google search results above along with explaining your reasons why.

Below is a list of Exchanges I compiled from the 2nd-3rd pages from google search results:

- Poloniex

- Coinfloor

- Cryptopay.me

- CoinsBank

- Trade by Trade

- Bit-Z

- NovaExchange

- Huobi Global

Again from the list above for filtering, which exchanges can we rule out that fall into the next sentences: not really an exchange service or has only a few altcoin wallets or little or no altcoin trading pairs or finally you simply believe the exchange is shady and shouldn't be in the google search results above along with explaining your reasons why.

Once the filtering has been done, I can safely choose with confidence which exchanges to use to trade my altcoins depending if they do that altcoin trading pair/wallet. I understand exchanges are not good places to store coins however I plan to trade in the UK full time meaning the coins will be on exchanges full time so I like to minimise risks to few as possible you know what I mean.

I will list the Altcoins I have after the help with filtering the above Exchanges.
