There must be really huge demand on bitcoin payment from most players, especially from very active ones. Because if they want variety choice of payments, they would add webmoney and etc (this is very popular in russia, haven't checked but think they don't accept webmoney or mobile payments).
Also they won't be against bitcoin but adding this payment isn't so easy if you have massive transactions and your project doesn't aim bitcoin as a major payment method unlikely cryptocurrency based games because they have to process different transactions and also bitcoin price changes very often so they may end up with low amount of bitcoin/usd ratio or higher one, worths for risk when demand on this coin is high, otherwise - not. In overall, you need a lot of people with same request.
What happens on forum about that? Have you opened thread?

For support ➡️ help.bc.game

What are the available payment method options?

Maybe there are third party sites that can do the service.

Currently, there are crypto websites that offer a payment gateway on game credits. I'm using our crypto local exchange to purchase Steam credits and Razer points (formerly Mol Points @ mol.com).

If they instantly convert the bitcoins to fiat, then, honestly, I don't see the point of having them accept BTC to start with. I think Overstock is the only big company that keeps some of its BTC instead of converting it to fiat again and that's the behavior we should support.

The point is that we as users don't have to convert BTC to fiat in order to spend it. My exchange charges 1.5% for cashing out, and it takes a few minutes of a wait. Bitpay is actually worse, because of their high fees, but if Steam accepted Bitcoin in some other way, then I wouldn't really care much what they are doing with it. So, I'm hoping there will be better payment processors that will help mainstream merchants accept Bitcoin.
Bitpay sucks when it comes to fees, hopefully that steam will reconsider on using them again but in a different payment provider this time.

Just buy iTunes or Google play gift card using Bitrefill.
This is also what i looking for. Thanks

I get the same feeling that many will sure ignore my post on that thread And google play and iTunes will sure prohibit bitcoin payment and I guess they are against this kind of method indeed, But I just want Netmarble to know my inner thought to allow a payment method using bitcoin, Well I wish there are online games somewhere were they can truly accept bitcoin or a voice that can let anyone know that there are payment method such as this.

Just buy iTunes or Google play gift card using Bitrefill.

I'd love to see Steam officially accept Bitcoin and perhaps other cryptocurrencies in the future. I do most of my gaming on Steam except for the game or two that I have on my phone, so this would be something major for me.

I don't really see smaller games being more accepting of bitcoin, although I do think it needs to become a must soon. Companies like the one OP posted do all their payments via iTunes and Google Play Store, even though get charged outrageous fees and wait months before their payments are actually received, are very reluctant to change, or even add another payment option (BTC), for some reason.

One gaming payment system I've seen and already respected is G2APay. It's always worked very well for me and allows BTC transactions easily. G2Apay is allowed to be used by almost any company and I'd love to see it go through more adoption.

I'd like to see companies like Steam, Blizzard, Activision, and a lot of more triple AAA game publishers be more accepting of crypto-currencies. They would easily be followed in, and would set a great precedent.

I just bought PS4 a few months ago and really hope Sony would accept Bitcoin as its payment. I don't want to make new VCN every time I want to buy a game. I'll definitely use Bitcoin to buy more games if that's available.

Well, Wish they can have a bitcoin method payment as well, but that would surely come in handy for gamers of PS4 and it will surely be convenient but I think that will come a long way of many staggering procedures but maybe in the not so distant future it may happen because I never saw any negativity regarding Sony that it is against Bitcoin so who knows, but I really like your suggestion.

Well if its possible, that google play store accepts BTC its one of its payment option then it would really a game changer. And will be use to pay any in-app games from google play store.

I guess there are CryptoRefills Application that allows you to buy Google Play gift cards with bitcoin, Well I never had tried it but I guess that is one step in using your bitcoin to purchase gift cards to refill your games on steam, buy games from PS4 and more, But I think it is still convenient for us to make a transaction directly than using another application.

Not a game, but I would like Steam to start accepting Bitcoin again, and other platforms too. But without Bitpay this time, Bitpay sucks majorly, they force you to pay huge fees and stress you with their timer on transaction confirmation. Perhaps Bitcoin will start getting adopted in gaming only with Lightning Network, because it's really not suitable for microtransactions even now.

Steam did in 2015 - 2016. Honestly Bitpay integration on Steam only lasted a couple of months before being taken down silently with no notices or whatsoever. I actually bought a lot of games due to that event (I own 347 games now, lol) and stacked some of my bitcoin holdings into the Steam market for item betting which paid out decently in the end. Right now I'd like Origin and Ubisoft to accept Bitcoin or ETH just to get the feel of it again. I know Bitpay is the only way but perhaps by now there are other service providers out there that these companies can try.

BitPay is the most popular option due their SEO and the banking side, which other payment gateways don't have. If you want to accept Bitcoin through a payment gateway and receive dollars without headache, BitPay is it unfortunately.

I also have to point out that their funny political games are only a thing within the crypto community. Merchants not familiar with how things are here have no clue about how BitPay is being used by its shareholders to work against the real Bitcoin.

BitPay sucks for many reasons, but for consumers the most annoying ones are their requirements to get confirmed transaction in next block. Merchants don't only care about their side, they want payment methods to be convenient for users too, otherwise it won't be profitable to support them.

I doubt it. BitPay doesn't want to adopt SegWit and LN and this payment gateway is their way of accepting Bitcoin. Unless they want to manually set up something like BTC Pay Server I don't see it happen.

Then we'll have alternatives to BitPay that work with LN, and BitPay will either have to adopt it to or lose their market and disappear. LN currently looks like the only option for the future of small payments in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin FTW!
Been looking for Steam to start taking Bitcoin again as well. I've had to buy Steam gift cards from various places like Bitrefill for several months since they stopped taking Bitcoin payments, and though that works fine I'd love to see Steam officially accept Bitcoin and perhaps other cryptocurrencies in the future. I do most of my gaming on Steam except for the game or two that I have on my phone, so this would be something major for me.

Im hoping the same thing yet ive been playing dota 2 and other steam games. When they integrate btc payment in the past its way too convenient but they decide to remove it out due to unstability of fees.

I've checked their website and apparently, they don't have a separate registration/login system, etc. so I'm going to assume everything is done through Gmail and Apple ID and If that's the case, it's very likely that your request will get denied, because these games usually process payments through Google play and iTunes.

Well, all the games we can think of that required online transactions I really wish they would consider adding Bitcoin up even on steam that is very popular right now but again many are against bitcoin and they surely not gonna want an unknown kind of transaction to the ones that they already used to know.

Pubg or Clash of Clans? There is an indirect way of using bitcoins to buy stuff for these games as lots of sellers here sell the in-game merch for bitcoins but that again is not officially sold by the game. Also, as far as mobile games are concerned, this is never going to happen as games want to avoid the payment hassle and just depend on the operating system to take care of it.

Just now I have opened a thread on my favorite mobile game Marvel Future Fight if you're familiar with the game,
Requesting or suggesting a new payment method for it and that is BTC as a method of payment, Well hope some moderators from that Marvel Future Fight would recognize and consider my request, will follow up and see if there are people in the game that wants the idea of Bitcoin.

And what other Online games do you like that you really want to see Bitcoin as a payment method?
