You're probably better off by starting with projects that use an existing cryptocurrency. I think you could gain a lot of valuable knowledge by connecting to a local Bitcoin node and using the JSON RPC commands. That's how a lot of sites do things.

Solidity might worth a look.
It's one of the languages that you can use to write smart contracts on Ethereum.
Otherwise Javascript, HTML etc. are useful.

To start with, it depends if you want to build your own blockchain from scratch or build on an existing blockchain platform. If you plan to build from scratch you need to know the basic structure of a blockchain, youtube can help you with that, also you need to know some programming languages like C++, Go or Java. a blockchain as we all know is a distributed ledger. To build on existing platform I suggest you look into ethereum smart contract or waves platform.

Hello, I'm a student. I want to learn about blockchain and how to create and develop a cryptocurrency. I know that now we have many platform to develop like cryptonote, multichain,... Can anyone suggest me a idea ? Thanks.
