May be these projects are beneficial for you but I don't have any experience with them and I think that considering new projects for profit does not sound good. I will always prefer those projects which are successful and have proved to be beneficial over many years. Not any coin can be useful as Bitcoin, we do not know that what will be the future but we assume that as Bitcoin has successful past so Fortunately it's future will always be according to our hopes. New project arises some of them get curiosity of individual but most of them become dead without giving any benefit to its users.

I did some research about these two projects and found Casa to be interestingat first as it is working on self custody secure storage more like a wallet for only Bitcoin & Ethereum. Ethereum support is still not functional at the moment. What is intresting about it is that it provide multiple private keys for a wallet. What I don't like about it is that it is a centralized project and another draw back is that it is currently based only for mobile OS.

REGEN is a project that is basically working on farming but I have seen such projects fail as the government does most of what is needed to feed it's civilians. If you have any other project in your mind then do tell me.
I am not all into altcoin based project. I do generally keep an eye. The simple reason is that I am still looking for projects such as Ethereum, Polkadot or anything that is going to make change within the blockchain environment.

I am aware of the above three projects. I still believe the only project that can solve real world financial issue is Bitcoin. For Blockchain I would always recommend Ethereum. Apart from these two I found a few that might be able solve real world issues.

Here are two projects that I have been following for quite sometime now. I would recommend you to DYOR before investing in them.

1.CASA
2.REGEN

Click on those links to know more about them rather than asking what these two projects are all about.

None of them? I mean bitcoin itself solves a very important real world problem; centralization of money.

Aside from that these type of small projects that have absolutely no value at all, will not get you anywhere close to being solving any issues. They will "claim" that they are solving some real life problems, but the problems are not that much of big ones, and the solutions are not that much of a great solution and the people who face those problems will not use these solutions so that means we are not going to see anything big at all.

I understand the need and the hype around projects and they can blind you with these buzzwords, but it is just not real, simple as that.

Bitcoin is the most widely used and accepted cryptocurrency in the market today. It has so huge influence on the crypto market that if bitcoin goes doen, it takes the entire market with it.
Bitcoin's dominance is first mover advantage. Bitcoin isn't a currency, it's a proof-of-concept.

One thing I could think of is Bitcoin wherein it can solve real world issues and has an outstanding world case in any crypto in the market. Hence it was created to have a good financial system and replace the old one which is by far the most and closes to solve the world issues of financial aspects we are facing right now.

I don't take loans, ask for sig if I ever do.
Interesting. I've seen a few projects before but the most they discussed were about economic issues, and not really helping/solving them directly but rather just investing in them of sorts. I hardly doubt they'd ever touch upon it being actually THAT helpful, to the point where its influence can actually be felt. Most projects are like that though, and some are actually just saying it for the sake of making them look good.

Ofc I don't think anything else has created that much of a change unlike Bitcoin with its p2p system, or ETH with their smart contracts.

Every project is focusing on an issue and tends to say that they're the answer to it. But bitcoin has solved what most of these projects are aiming for and that's both, a payment method and an asset. There will be arguments that'd say that if there's another project that has come earlier than bitcoin then it won't be bitcoin on its seat now. But to be honest, there have been the same project concepts that have been introduced before but they've failed or just got little attention unlike what bitcoin has reached. Honestly, bitcoin is more than enough already, there could be scaling issues and network adjustments needed to be made but looking at it, it's much better than before.
Bitcoin sucks, Monero is the only currency that utilizes blockchain tech correctly.

Lol! I am not sure how did you come up with such statement about bitcoin, but would you care to explain?

I honestly think you need to re-think your statement about bitcoin!

I am sorry as my answer is going to disappoint you! My three coins are -

1. Bitcoin
2. ETH
3. XMR

I honestly do not consider any other coin capable of handling and solving real-world problems.

Bitcoin is for liquidity as it is widely accepted. ETH is for the smart contracting facility and XMR is for anonymity. I don't think a human needs any more cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin obviously. When it comes to actual real world usage I don’t think any other coin or token even belongs in the same sentence. Since this is the altcoin section though, I’d say if I had a gun to my head to pick an alt that is doing anything to solve issues I would say MATIC. They have a pretty impressive list of partners. Namecoin also solves a major issue, but nobody seems to care.

I find happiness whenever I see a project meant to solve world issues as Bitcoin did and has been doing. I have been tracking the progress of a few projects but I am not happy with the outcome for now. Maybe in the future, they might gear up and prove they are worthy of investment.

Below are the three projects that I am following and I want to know whether they are worthy of investment. I know if they succeed in the smallest margin they would maximize my investment.

  • Sentinel
  • Akash
  • Dyson

Which one do you think is good enough for 2-3 years of investment and for a short-term return on investment? If you have any other in your mind then do list them with your reason for investing. Please do give me an ROI timeframe.

Thanks in advance.

What are the real world issues that these projects were solving? I didn't heard any of them so I can't comment about the returns in 2 or 3 years but I just want to remind you something almost every project created after Bitcoin is just copy cat of Bitcoin or doesn't have any usability with few exceptions like monero, ethereum.

I have not heard of any of the project that you have listed to be completely honest so i can not really tell you if those projects are really good for a longterm investment or not. I think though that just because a crypto project is trying to solve a real issue or is trying to be a green project and therefore good for the environment does not automatically mean, that it is successful. A few years back a project called Energi was pretty popular for a while. There appraoch was to be environmetally friendly because they were full PoS and they also had Masternodes. Nowadays though the project is not really successful anymore and the price is only going down.

If you want to pick a project that is relatively safe to hold for a few years, then i would look for bigger and already established project. I recently bought Cosmos and now i am looking into buying NEAR because the price per coin is now below 2$ again.

To be honest, I don't know if there are still projects out there who's goal is to solve the real world issues. I mean with so many projects right now and it's been like 10 years already, or least them the altcoin boom that started in 2017, there could be thousands already claiming to have their projects solved many problems and it could be effective or not, who don't have the numbers.

At least we have like problems popping up every year, I think crypto or blockchain projects has pretty much step up the plate to cover every facets of humanity's problem, again it's just the question whether it's effective or not.

Bitcoin though was design to be a P2P, payment scheme but Satoshi, it could have solved many problems though, but not sure if Satoshi does mean for Bitcoin to be come a asset or commodities.

Both there could be projects in other industries that might help like in the pharma or medicine or any other businesses that uses a lot of data for their decisions  for their goods and services.

But to be honest though, as what the other posters said, we are not aware about this projects.

You could have at least gave us your honest feedback and what world problems it will solved.

And what in your opinion is the world problem solved by bitcoin? I would like to hear a more detailed answer.

Most of the projects are trying to take advantage of various world problems and hype on it. At this stage, none of them really come close to this, and for many problems crypto-projects is not needed at all. Of course, some projects will be useful, but at the moment, they are still in their infancy.

You seem to want easy answers for easy profits. Even ask the payback period of the investment.

Investments without your own market research are more likely to fail. It is unlikely that someone will be able to voice you the real ROI, because these are risky investments and extremely unpredictable.

Depends on the project goal. Not all same type or ideology can solve the flaws of blockchain cause there will always be one. Bitcoin is decentralized and solve the potential problem of control. Though these projects are advance or has some tight grip on their sleeve its imperative to know much info that could be a potential gain especially if they are worth to invest with on a period of 2 to 3 years.

You didn't even mention those coin sites. There is 3 project that has the Sentinel, and I didn't find a crypto project with the name of Dyson. How do we suppose to take a look at what it is all about?

Since the only certain project is Akash, I didn't found it to truly solve the world's problem, in fact, I didn't even know what its true utilities. I get computing power/resource marketplace has some potency of customers, but it does not necessarily mean it requires a blockchain or a token. The fact that it incorporates a token with how they operates, makes it shady since it is the norm that cryptocurrencies scam project, always use real-world problems as their solution.

I don't know those projects you've said and if they are really solving world issues, that's not a new claim as there have been many too projects claiming that.

Technology and projects do adapt whatever is on the trend and it's hard to say what will be the next projects that will be on the spotlight solving problems of the world.

But before that, most projects should solve their own problems first like having their own chain problems.

Tbh i've never heard of any of these three coins/projects, but since i am not really interested in new projects i don't look out for them. Do you mind elaborating why you think these projects have any sustainability, and are different from the usual scam projects with fake promises and no utility.
If you have any other in your mind then do list them with your reason for investing. Please do give me an ROI timeframe.
In response to this question, users are basically going to tell you to invest in projects that they have invested in, maybe the more people that buy it, then the higher the chances of the project pumping (only to dump later). I'd advice you stay away from pump and dump projects and stop gambling with new cryptocurrencies, it could be really risky.

You'd be better off sticking with Bitcoin.

New project solving real world issues? I don't know. There are many that claims they can provide solution to this and that but sometimes blockchain isn't even necessary. There are also many claims of solving scaling problems in a decentralized manner but couldn't deliver that promise. Much of the coins and tokens that exists today doesn't really offer something new also.

I don't know anything about them. I haven't been looking for a new project to be fair and haven't followed updates of more established coins for a considerable time. There are more productive things to do right now but I will probably start again after the second or third quarter of the year.

Edit: It seems a lot of members here are not aware of these three projects. I also assumed that you might be able to just do a google search about them but unfortunately, no one did and that is the reason I have added links for you guys to know more about them.

If you know any projects similar to them in their initial phase then do leave your comment tagging me.[/list]
