I prefer number two. Projects that are useful, work products, and seem to progress are more promising. I invest in projects with working product because with good product, the demand of the coin keeps coming and this is one of the imperative factors required for the survival of a coin. Also, I'm always on the look out for the expertise level of the team in cryptocurrency and marketing as this will determine how well the coin and project will reach the mass around the globe.

Kinda feels like you are just advertising the thread. Anyways, obviously its going to be the option number two. Why would someone want to invest on a project that is all talk with no progress? That would be plain stupidity. But, yeah, sadly there are people who fall for their marketing crap and ends up investing on those shit project.
The second option is better since you get to see them slowly developing instead of ideally sitting and blabbering. At least you know that a product is being released eventually.

The second option of course. If you take a clear look, projects like that do well once they seek for funds because investors already knows what they are getting involved with. I have seen few of them, and they are still developing their products and services.
But the first option, once Public sale ends, comes with series of excuses and before hand they will die off.

lol, the second option seems a little skeptical of late buddy. recently I've seen that projects that claim they have their own funds start sugarcoated payments (especially if they're the dividend paying types) and then later things worsens. Nevertheless, projects tht steadily grow are better options.

I would definitely agree with this. You know if this project would be a game changer every thing is possible. Isn't it that binance was new I mean theyre a lot of exchanges when they came in but yet theyre the top right now so what they did? They did it differently and delivered results and keep on improving. Unlike the others.

I also choose number two.  It is better to slowly but confidently step up and achieve your goal.  It seems to me that the main quality of the project and not speed.

projects that did not do ICO were successful, maybe because the team members had many good partners to collaborate on so the project was successful and I tried to find projects that were almost identical and found souls, some projects that had real products were a good step to have the altcoin we want to hold for the long term

I prefer number two. because I prefer to slowly progress but with definite results. not to pursue something ambitious but merely talk without proof. and I always follow the same program as number two. indeed the process of running the program took longer but the result they achieved was certainly not just a false promise.

One example is PundiX and GCOX (ACM).
PundiX already have a unit but they are still lacking in numbers. It is still a working progress but have been producing a lot of changes for 2 years I think.
It is slow just like how you identified number 2 option.
GCOX though is high risk. Although most investors are popular faces there is still a risk that it may go sideways or maybe for a long time before it will be fruitful.

I personally don't invest in any of the new projects. Trust is the main issue here. Project teams are exploiting the small investors to big investors by one or other way. Better safe than sorry is my opinion. Golden days are gone. Projects like Aeron, Credits, came up and gave good profits to investors.

Investing in a good project with a real product and developer inside like ethereum, eos and bnb, but right now I put some money in some existing project that come from IEO like matic and one because I believe this project have a bright future.

I prefer to invest in existing coins which already have a low price from it ATH (all time high). But there is also a lot of good coins from new projects like bitwings, miracle tele, mb8 coin and so on.

The combination of both of them would be great, but we need to stay realistic . In my opinion a good project should have a strong marketing plan and a working product, before the launch of their token sale to show investors that the project has value and not just a whitepaper.

Looking at the market of new project currently I prefer to choose short term investment. I don't think the new peoject will success for long term and will give you a high profit, yeah I cay say it is high risk.

I just pick up an IEO who launched by binance exchange and wait it, so I'll sell all of them when has traded on the exchange exactly when I got profit. Long term investment is very suitable when we choose bitcoin as the place. There are many fundamental factor who can make you comfortable when you store your money on it.

I prefer the number two because it seems, the project runs steadily step by step and consistent with what they do to reach their goals. But to invest in that project, we need more than that because to select the right project will not as simple like that. Every project comes with their risks. As for me I will prefer to invest in a project with real use case and also with tons of partnerships with major players in both crypto and outside crypto fields.

There is a project called OAX. At first they were planning to create first DEX exchange. At the time they had bounty, I was cheering for them from my heart. But this year they are not following their roadmap, it turned to be that they are "not creating dex exchange", not there have lots of competitors (wasted time, now they wont be first on the market).

much better if you want to join a bounty campaign that is already registered in the market because in terms of tokens the risk is smaller compared to new tokens which sometimes take a long time to be listed on the exchange. but usually new tokens sometimes have unpredictable prices. instead you have to take time before joining the project.

My personal opinion is please choose the top projects in the coinmarketcap. Because those projects are legit and have a huge potential to reach the market. The next thing is future updates. Because the future updates are really important to get an idea about the prices of the coins. If you invest in a project, please keep in touch with future updates.

Like other users, I am for a working project, although the price will not be high enough, it will still develop and move the project price up. For all the time in cryptocurrencies, I have met a lot of fraud and promises about future plans. But when the future came from the project, there were only candy wrappers (tokens) left in my wallet and now I can only collect them, while those deceivers are resting and living at your expense.
