Recently I had four Twin Frozr (280X though), from separate batches, and each of them started to leak oil from fans after a few days (less than a week). The mess on my rig with all this oil

Sapphire tri-x 290 are impossible to find in Toronto Canada right now and they are $800 on newegg.ca which is out of the question. I need 2 more 290 and my options are the MSI twin frozr and the ASUS DCII.
If my reading has been accurate the ASUS is not available with hynix mem. IS this reason enough to just go with the MSI?
Any thoughts would help me make the choice.
