I just read some article and techniques when it comes from trading i learned trading from this forum which i read some topics about trading discussion and more things is you just need to follow what you read and then don't spoon feed your self too much and try to analize the situation before you are going to trading.

There are lots of good articles all over the net that's why I haven't read any books however I listed some titles that you guys recommend for future reference.

My other source of knowledge about trading are:

1. Trading discussion on forums (bitcointalk, reddit etc.)
2. Youtube Vids
3. Experience

I read some books in Portuguese, but it was difficult to understand about the trends of the actions, patterns of reversion graphs and Bollinger Bands. So I decided to take a course and read a lot on websites and blogs that talk about it. There's a lot that needs a lot of study. Gaps and Fibonacci Theory (Fibonacci numbers) are techniques that in my opinion you need to study a lot.

For the purpose of trading haven't read any books particularly, with a small amount started to trade with my own strategies. This in a short time gained me good experience of handling higher amounts. So make yourself strong and go with your plan than executing someone's written experience.

Not everyone is as lucky are you are. Having knowledge from reading books have its advantage. You can learn from the experience of others and know what not to do before hand. Experience is the best teacher in trading if you have money to burn. If not, best to have some knowledge of it before getting some experience.

i have never read any books about trading and i do strongly believe that reading a book is not going to help you become successful in trading.

you only need two things that you can only get one of them from books: basic knowledge about how to trade and terminology like what bid, ask, orderbook means and also the most important part is experience and information!
You are contradicting yourself in your own post, you say reading a book is not going to help you become a better trader, and then in the next paragraph you state that you can in fact learn things from the books.

books and online courses are fine and all
but as soon as you can differentiate bips from pips I suggest you open a demo account
or several and trial and error it
once you are comfortable -DEPOSIT
trading with real money is a diferent ball game too, decisions are harder to make and the trading strategies are not the same

I think a mix of both is good for the learning process. I never read any book on the trading, but if I want to learn any type of knowledge, I prefer to go to my local library and invest some time to find a good book.

As soon I will finish the book, I would try to get a demo account on reliable website and continue my learning curve with site like Investopia or Youtube.

I agree book won't help on trading but doesn't mean we don't need basic consept of trading are like analysis tecnical or fundamental, so we need read about that and we can do practice about it, then the experience trading will become best teacher.

I haven't read any book but I have read some articles/blogs in the internet and I am also reading/participating in some forum discussion about trading like here. Well, I can say that doing the above listed helped me in trading but like they say practical knowledge/experience will be the most helpful in trading. Just have patience and learn that there will be some ups and downs in trading. If you're planning to start trading I suggest that you should use an amount that you can afford to lose.

Never did I read a trading book but i have read some online tutorials before.
Which trading book can you recommend to a newbie trader like me?

I don't want to waste time just reading the whole blah-blah of the author, i want to read an ebook that show the exact way how to do it directly without swaying and say something else. its a wasteful time. any recommendation?

I won't recommend you any trading books, because I learned everything I know from the internet. I don't think that you need to read old school paper book anymore.
Especially when trading nowadays moved to cyberspace. There are awesome online portals for businessmen, traders and investors.
For example: Investopedia, check it out - you will probably find everything you want to know about trading/investing there.
Agreed, investopedia is a good site, i always read investopedia so far this is the best site to learn trading or investing in my opinion.
Actually i have never read any books about trading or investment, i trully believe that experience is a good teacher though you must have basic knowledge about it, but you don't have to read a thick book like people said above the book is not really going to help much. if you don't understand or get stuck just google it.

I've only read two books regarding trading, I think for the most part they somewhat helped me create a good mindset when trading, but I feel as if I learned the most through trial and error.

The books I've read are 'Trading in the Zone' and 'Harmonic Trading Vol 1'

What books have you read to get better at trading? Did they actually help you?

i have been thinking about reading some books and other resources to learn more about trading and i actually checked some of them out but the problem that i found was that it was too long and it needed a lot of time, a time that i do not have.

and reading some of the comments here i think i did good because it is not really going to help much.

i've read few books which was given from seminar i have followed and all is just contain about theory and a little bit their experience,it's useful but only if certain condition comes while if you're really trading something strange will happen and you will only resolve it by your own not by using that theory
i also read some book related to trading and they really help me in trading and specially in starting a business, but i think experience is too much important for trading, with out experience you cannot become a good trader and for getting experience you have to continue your struggle and to be in touch with the field in which you are going to invest.

me as well but i keep watching some good video related inside youtube to get more ideas about investing my money
because its really help me out to assess what particular investment to support to avoid big loses i will try to look
for a good books about it if i got time.

Watching  videos  would  be a  great thing to learn too  because  they could actually  explain visually  regarding on trading which  you could  easily cope  up and   put  up  in to your mind   and  could  really be used  on  your future trades thats why its  important  for us to be responsible if you are  eager to learn  up trading.   Important  informations are everywhere  all you need to do is  search  up those things and  have time to spent.

reading a book to learn trading tips and tricks is a bit of a tedious work because it takes a long time and you won't get enough experience out of the books and experience is all you need to be successful in trading.

try to read more of analysis stuff, preferably go and see how https://www.tradingview.com/ looks like.

I think this is a good advice, I have not read anything about trading books because I think they are somehow not that effective in terms of trading altcoins.  There is some tips here in the forum where if followed can give you enough profit in every trade you are to made.  I forgot the thread but it is very simple and realistic approach on trading.

I have read Stan Weinstein’s Secrets For Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets which is my favourite, I amn't fan of reading but good traders must need to read more. I amn't professional trader but sometimes I trade myself. This book is really good to help you. Also I would say that statistics aren't so much important because they are past and future is always different so everything depends on your luck but of course it doesn't means to don't look at statistics.

None of the book or articles about trading I read so far. What I do is to learn the basic knowledge and considered that as a startup point. Once learning those basic knowledge, I automatically learned other things by improving those basics into an average one then so on up to the point I have learned from now. Also I currently joined in a trading local group in a social media that somehow teaches me when Im still a trading newbie. Thanks to them.

Reading trading books is a good reference for traders wanna be. Although please remember that advices, recommendations and suggestions that you will encountered there are not meant for just reading only but do it also on actual trades.

I have read a book about Japanese candle sticks and no it did not work for me so I gave up. I just buy and hold Bitcoin and usually wait for dips to buy more because I believe that this is a good long term investment. It is working for me so far even though the dips I am waiting for do not come and I am forced to buy at higher prices sometimes.

i have always been a bit lazy to read a book, especially a book to learn how to trade! i was interested to read some resources books included in the beginning but i was lucky and found a friend who know some stuff about trading stocks and he walked me through most of the things i needed to know and from that point i never felt the need to read anything despite not being an expert and still being a newbie in trading.

I ever read a book about the basic techniques of the trade from my friends, but I forget the name. The book was very good and tell whether it takes on trade and fundamental ways of trading. Perhaps it will help to make us a better understanding of the trade. But the book as it only helps the basis only and can not allow us to continue to make a profit on the trade, and if you want to get profit in the trade must analyze the market directly.

Well i don't read any books of trading because i have been read about trading and other related with it on bitcointalk, it was worth for me and i can do the practice without book on my hand and it is more simple.

What exactly have you learned on here about trading in particular?
Of course the ways of trading, theory of trading, way analysis tecnical and fundamental, there were many people who made discussion about it, you can check on trading discussion on this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0 and read carefully every thread on there. And you can try practical on the markets.

Nope, until this time I never reading any specific trading book and I don't ever feel bad cause that, the keys on the trading are depending on your perspective for had the lower standard of buying your trading goods.

Reading the book are not actually helping for directly. this good for increasing your knowledge but it needs a real implementation.

Yeah same here it is the best is experience and experiment than reading books or ebooks .. i tried to read many ebooks but it can give you only ideas but not always good result you need to test and try until you find you good strategy or good method that you can make you satisfied..
I never heard about that book you are mention but i found some trading ebooks outside of this forum..

Trading in the zone is a good book to understand the system but the best thing to learn is the experience.
Most of the time when you are on the edge of getting scammed your experience comes in handy and you get off the deal. The real story, though.

So I suggest start small understand, learn and then move bigger and better.
