My attorney told me a transmitters license in my state requires a bond of $100,000 USD
thats a deal breaker for me.

anyone know a way around that?

i doubt, andthat's why atm are not well widespread, the cost for a licence is enormous high, is the same why many try to trade wit money without it

banks like to know where the money is coming from.

disclosing to a bank that your $5000 weekly deposit is from exchanging cash for other currency is red flag, even if you dont do bitcoin. you'll end up needing a business account and then end up needing money transmitter licences. headache headache headache

if your not going to go the full hog and get legit as its just a hobby. i think credit unions are much more relaxed

For those of you in the USA who are operating/owning bitcoin atms, what bank are you working with that allows cash deposits/wires etc.. necessary to keep the ATM going? Banks are the true gatekeepers in this process. PM me if you don't want to post publicly, I'm just getting started with a couple machines.
