I highly recommend the Electrum wallet. As other forum users have suggested, this wallet is easy to install on most systems. It is open source, making it one of the safest options for storing your assets. While there are many wallets available, my top choice, especially for PC users, is the Electrum wallet.

For the PC version, Electrum is the best and Electrum is at the top of many users' ratings. I recommend using it.
It's a no-brainer if we recommend Electrum.
If you need the mobile version, I recommend BlueWallet. BlueWallet is the best for mobile version.
Even at the mobile version, I think that Electrum is still the best one to use, I mean BlueWallet is good but I'm not really sold with them so I just stick to Electrum and I'm probably more safe with using Electrum more than any other wallet out there.

Electrum is probably your safest option for desktop Lightning wallet, but generally speaking mobile wallets have better support for LN.
It sounds reasonable because we will have more demand to use and move bitcoin with Lightning Network when we hang out, than when we stay at home or office.

There is only one more desktop wallet with LN called Onekey, but I would avoid all non-custodial lightning wallets.
We need to avoid custodial wallets, for Bitcoin storage and for on chain transactions, Lightning Network transactions. It's a general fund safety protection rule in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, not only with Bitcoin Lightning Network.

Only possible alternative is self-custodial Mutiny wallet that can be used in web browser.

I'm not a pro user, but I will recommend Zap Wallet. Couse Zap Wallet has caught your eye for your PC lightning transactions! It's a great choice for beginners seeking a user-friendly experience.

Electrum all the way, I haven't seen any other wallet that works best with Lightning network,
Take note that using the Lightning network on Electrum is not so newbie friendly, and since op is asking for a good ligtning wallet and how to use it, then i am sure op is a newbie when it comes to lightning, so Electrum may not be friendly enough for them to use.
another thing about Electrum is that it's also really safe to use as a wallet because it makes things much more safer for you since it's an open source wallet
In the link i posted in my earlier post in this topic, you can find other open source and self custodial lightning network wallets, and then select that which is suitable and friendly for you to use.
and it basically follows the fees in the mempool so you'd know that you're not going to be paying a lot of extra for your transaction fees.
It is always recommended to check the mempool before making a tx and not to depend on the estimation from your wallet software. However, when using the lightning network, you only have to pay on-chain fees for opening and closing channels, and then very low fees for your off-chain lightning tx's.

Manage the LND onchain funds in Electrum Wallet

I did not use Electrum wallet with Lightning Network but I found some presentations. I will learn about LN with them and OP can take time for reading them too.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
Electrum is the gold standard. And highly recommended among many forum users here, as you can obviously see...

As with any recommended wallet, it is much better and safer to choose from open source and self custodial options. So here is a list of open source lightning wallets,[1] you can read through that op and the posts in that topic too, check the pros and cons and select the wallet that meets your needs.

I don't see any better Lightning wallet than Electrum there are some not well-known Lightning wallets but not good for long-term use.

Anyway, if you are looking for an Electrum lightning guide check this link below.
