Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
There are so many ways to convert your recovery seed to private keys from this tutorial or simply follow what @coynedterm said. But if you use electrumcash since this wallet supports Bitcoin cash BCC/BCH just simply import your recovery seed there, I guess much better if you use the android app of this wallet.

Thanks for helping me. But this solution looks rather like a hack.
Is there no easy way to translate the passphrase into a private key or is there a wallet where I can import that passphrase?
Yeah , there is one of the wallet at the playstore of Google paltfrom where many of my friends got thier bch coin successfully .
Go to play store and search for the coinomi and download that wallet , after download open app and click at the restore wallet and then put your phrase of blockchain .
After this there you will see the procedure to get your BcH coin , then by following that guide get your bcc coin ( usually you need to add bitcoincash in wallet of the menu of left three bar column and then put your password that you putted in stsrted and also click at the advance setting and write M/44H/0H/0H and finally click ok and then you wioo successfully see your bch coin .

Check this documentation[1] to see if you can manage your coins outside the Blockchain wallet.

I have made a 12-word backup passphrase that according to blockchain.info gives me full control of my funds. However, I did not find out yet how to convert the passphrase into a private key. I tried sha256[passphrase] but this did not produce addresses holding my funds. Nor did I find any wallet that would let me import the passphrase.

The reason I want to do that is because I want extract the "Bitcoin Cash" from my funds.

Any help appreciated.
Kind Regards
