Wow another great link and advice. I'm from Australia.

For cards I'd go for Coinbase then. Bittylicious does cover Australia but appears to have no bitcoins for sale there. I think Coinbase would be about a 4% fee for a card buy which is high but not too hideous compared to other options.

Your helpful replies have brightened my day. Thankyou.

hey mate,
That sounds like a good idea, and 90% is ok for me, but it looks to be a bit over my head with their requirements for having an in game avatar and then using the virwox terminal. I dont play any games so I really have no idea.

I have no idea either and it looks like they've frozen Paypal for now so it's a no go.

Your terminology sounds a bit British to me so look here for card buys too - https://bittylicious.com

I've bought plenty from them in the past and it always went well, but I've never tried the card option. Their card premium used to be nuts but they look tolerable now.

Your ongoing happiness and success is worth more to me than any merit.

I"ll check into the coinbase option. Thanks heaps for the info.
Can I leave a like or give merit or something for your help?

Link to avatar (optional)
You need to establish a link to your avatar in order to transfer virtual currency bewteen your avatar and your VirWoX account. After you have set the avatar name using this form, you need to prove that you really own this avatar by validating it at an in-world VirWoX terminal. Note: After validation, this link cannot be changed by yourself!

You may as well lose big once and buy BTC with Paypal here - https://www.virwox.com

You buy Linden Dollars with Paypal on there and then swap them for BTC. It's been going for years.

The fees will probably add up to about 10% but that's still probably less than offloading gift cards where most will expect heavy discounts.

If you have a credit or debit card you could look into Coinbase depending on where you are.

Edit - actually it looks like Paypal is still disabled on Virwox in which case it won't any use until that changes.

Hi,
I tried to answer this question through search but got really bogged down in the details and finding current info.

I'd like to use paypal or credit card to buy Gift cards (or a VCC), then exchange them for bitcoin.
Wondering which gift cards give the best conversion rate to bitcoin?
And any tips on where I can buy gift cards online?
A good place to exchange gift cards for Bitcoin? e.g. paxful , does this offer the best exchange prices for gift cards?

thanks for any tips.
