I was thinking for a while like which altcoin should I have to prefer when the entire coins is sleeping. Ethereum is very very down when comparing to few other altcoins, I guess Ripple showed a vital role this time. So XRP is a good invest at the moment.

According to me, Cardano is the most valuable altcoin in the market of cryptocurrencies after etherium. First of all there is no doubt that bitcoin is the most valuable currency of all the crypto currencies and not only this bitcoin is on the top of crypto ranking and is always worth investing as now currently there are millions of people around the world who are investing into bitcoin but after bitcoin if we look at other crypto currencies that I find etherum to be much valuable and worth investing than other crypto currencies available in the market as from the past criteria , after bitcoin, etherum is the only currency that is growing continuously.

I think the potential and opportunities will still remain the same. the ripple and the ethereum remain the main actor in the crypto this year. Mostly once coins have started out on their way they tend to continue that way for the long term, so even now after the bull market, ethereum still remains the most valuable altcoin that you can have because that way you can be sure that you are going to make a killing from it when the market bulls since the coin is sure to have a lot of value by then

But if you look at real in coinmarketcap then under bitcoin nonetheless ethereum and ripple. and even for the second time to the fore, this coin is still a pretty good compared to another altcoin. the progress of many of the altcoin that there is also no showed good improvement so I guess to meant will not much have changed and the ethereum and ripple still have much investment in it.

I think NEO will be the most profitable. NEO used to reached $160 in last year, 8 times compared to now ($19). If it can hit that price again, we will have a super big profit. The second I think it will be ETH

This year EOS is prove the good coin but recently it was big dump in the market so this year nothing is reach a milestone of crypto market. may be end of the year we can identify the good potential coin and this year many new coins are grow well so we can concentrate in cheap altcoins we will get good results.

I still do not see any other altcoins that would be as valuable as etherum. Many other altcoins have great use case but etherum is very much good in my opinion and would likely be the most valuable this year.

I think NEO and XRP will be most valuable in 2018. The 2018 market will not be volatile, but with top altcoin I believe it will quickly recover.

It is very difficult to specify which Altcoin will be the most valuable this year as many factors affect it. I believe that the EOS is able to become valuable, because it has good potential and will be able to compete with the ethereum. Time will tell who was right.

I too think HYDRO has more potential to be the best altcoin, They have a very strong development team and a working product with several awards under their belt. Also they have some great companies and banks who tied up with them for their 2FA product which is very user friendly and has great security to it.

I don't know about the 'most valuable' altcoin but I'm betting Cardano (ADA) will be high up the list. Really really high. At current prices it's a steal.

Though I'm not as ardent a fan of Stellar (XLM), the general consensus seems to indicate that it'll shoot up too.

Lately, VeChain Thor (VET) is also being looked upon favourably. I'm not vouching for this one though because I haven't done much research on it.

Well it will be still ethreum. As we all know there are more people who uses it rather that the other alternative coins, in other words it is more popular. With this it indicates that in order to be profitable more people shoild use it. Amd it is wjat is going om to etc. Lets just continue supporting etc.

Its of course just a speculation but Ethereum will probably still be on the altcoin throne in the foreseen future. There are some candidates for dethroning ETH like EOS or ADA but I doubt they will manage to do that in the next couple of years.

It will be remain the same, i will not expect a big growth from the new platform will be similar as ethereum and ripple. In fact that 80% of altcoins have created in the ethereum platform.
That means if that platform still really valuable in every moment. EOS, ADA, TRON just a copy cat of ethereum with very bad performance especially EOS and TRON because there was a scandal in the development progress.
