I would say this forum's seniors are the most trusted people I will take any kind of advice from. There are many of them working tirelessly for this community, not just to make money. You can see them all over the discussion boards.
As far as media, they can sometimes be a little biased towards uplifting the coin/token they support, but not always. I personally follow some of them:
