Agree with most of the answers here, Tradingview ideas can give a lot of insights of the market. I never really followed anyone, but I regularly check some crypto Twitter accounts and some Telegram channels to get a fresh view. It's good to get out of your own head sometimes and see what others are thinking, might give you a new perspective.

I also follow Tradingview and do my own research every time. beside it I follow JOHN MCAFEE https://twitter.com/officialmcafee and use this source in my trade. I also follow some youtubers also.
How does your trading results from following McAfee's tips? I never liked him, always thought all he has done is classic PnD.

Traders usually follow a few sources that they trust and they ignore other sources.

Who are you following?

Share here that everyone benefits and maybe the person you are following is the wrong resource and you have a chance to learn it too.

Personally I'm browsing posts in Tradingview
I am looking at coinmarketcap because I think it is more accurate and easy to look at the prices of the cryptocurrencies that we wanted to check. try to look at this site too https://coinmarketcap.com/ so you can compare their price from Tradingview and at the coinmarketcap.

I just follow the trust I get from the experience I have, with my experience I can determine the right time to buy and sell, while to monitor the price I just see coinmarketcap, a lot of which gives trading signals but I do not believe it.

No, where you can learn it's only not here. Some may share trading articles here, but you can't be confident in that information
If we don't have any knowledge then we have to read those articles but don't read just one article you have to compare whatever they wrote it is right or not with other articles and don't follow their strategies, learn everything and make your own strategy.

When I've learned trading I don't follow anyone from the start but I listen from experts or a friends who really knows in trading. Learn from your mistakes in the past and apply the knowledge you have that after you may not regret in your decisions.

Yeah and advice is all I need like I don't want to follow every move that they're doing and what their advice will be all fine. I still make my own research because I don't want to fully rely on their TA so whenever I messed up it's myself who'll I blame. Like they're not God or can really forsee the future so don't trust that much.

You have to think with your own brains, but someone else's experience never hurts Wink
Very useful thread for me, thanks!
You better understood this. Exactly everyone has his own kind of loss and profits. You can’t just think of something happened to someone and he is relating to you with full charm and concern. You must listen his talk but never adopt the responding strategy because he might have different set of conditions and scenarios which may be not applicable to you. So yeah, just see.

I don't agree that following other people is bad, especially for newbies who can't do TA. Beside reading books, observing good traders is the best way to learn anyway. Nobody is asking you to blindly follow others, but you can learn a lot studying charts and technical analysis of experienced and successful traders. In the end you will have to make your own trades using all information you have. Here are a few guys from tradingview I follow and check on the regular: Crypto_Ed, CryptoRand, EXCAVO, ApeX_Trading_Group, LewisGlasgow, Intuit.

I tried to follow one channel on the YouTube (it is now closed after a series of incorrect predictions). May I ask what percentage of these correct predictions these people have?

Does anyone here knows Revv Nissan?

I've been following him with his technical analysis he's underrated but I like his points when he's giving his points about the market.

I'm checking his post all the time with his facebook account.
Is Revv Nissan has a bitcointalk account? If yes, can you please provide useful link and share that to us. I will be thankful if you provide some information about him.
I don't know if he has mate.

I never talked to him and I just follow his lives and posts. You can just search him on facebook and his posts are visible to every stranger and possible follower of him.
Is he a crypto trader ? I just want to know his past performances on cypto trading. Honestly I am not a fan of any big traders but for my own analysis. I believe into my skills to generate my own trading calls. With my research and analysis, I have achieved some decent amounts of money with more than 80% accuracy of my prediction calls. Here I must mention that I prefer trading only bitcoin against tether.

I am looking at tradingview as well, some youtube channels and twitter but I am actually not trading, I just look at them to know what's going on regarding the market .
I also see tradingview as a benchmark in doing trading and also see a review from Hamada Mark twitter where the review and analysis provided fairly accurate. But not every time i see tradingview and Hamada Mark twitter, mostly i will see it when my coins are stuck because the price is down. I will look for analysis and review to determine i should sell loss or hold the coin because the price can go up.

Actually, I reject to follow the information, predictions of the media because they always want to manipulate the users of cryptucrrencies (Traders) through some false and fake news and unfortunately, many are easily fooled by those rumors. In fact, the capitalists (who have a huge proportion of Bitcoin and other cyrpto) control the media in order to ensure their interests (financial profit).

As a  matter of fact, I do not depend on some sites ( like, tradingview ) and videos On Youtube,  I just follow myself and in my opinion, this is the right choice. Plus, I always  read the analysis of  cyrotocurrencies , and maybe my best advantage  or talent   is that  I have a futuristic vision, and I just  analyze the situation with my own self.

I mostly follow myself. All these time learning everything that has to do with trading wasn’t just a waste of time, nope, they did pay off and I also did well by working hard. I do follow some sources, but you shouldn’t be relying on one source cause it might fail you at the right moment when things seems to easy.

I don’t know how to explain this to you, but it’s best that you follow several sources and compare the info’s you’re getting to know which one of them is right at the moment.

There are trader who following another trader. But i my self never follow anyone. Because in my opinion..every body have different phsycological thinking about how they trade. I know i am easily got pissed or panic selling then i trade with my own strategy which did not make me panic.
that should be what we do, here we can discuss how to trade, but we ourselves must have a trade initiative, we should be able to choose what we will buy for our trade, because being a new trader may be a bit difficult to choose what to buy, but to ask questions to the more senior is also not painful, but we must compare with what we have chosen.

It's hard to get neutral sources for tracking news, and everyone has a point of view and no one can be right all the time.
I follow the news and hear from all sides and then I decide, making the decision back to you alone.
Now you decide to trust the choices we make to you but you will find everyone in the comments telling his personal story that you may succeed and do not succeed with others.I recommend tracking charts and Omkar Godbole  Twitter https://www.twitter.com/godbole17

There are many wanna be experts in this world and I have nothing against them, there thoughts and analysis are somehow helpful and can use as guide if you are dealing in your own investments. However I dont really rely on them, its important to have your own strategy and way of thinking. The person I look up when it comes to trading is my first mentor, he is the person who taught me how to trade and patient enough to answer all my questions. He's giving suggestions and opinion but he wants me to take it as a friendly advice and not as an option.

Who are you following?

Share here that everyone benefits and maybe the person you are following is the wrong resource and you have a chance to learn it too.

Personally I'm browsing posts in Tradingview

I just follow and listen to information from https://coinmarketcap.com/, there has some info and a lot of information that you get from group chat and twitter in the coin, I also always see https://cryptocalendar.pro/ it to find out what event will come in some coin.

Artificial Intelligence  Shocked
Yeah this would be the best answer for this question. Here few people are saying that this will not be working for the bitcoins. I want to say there wouldn’t be anything left within coming few years when artificial intelligence would take the lead and many plate everything related to our lives. So is the block chain technology. They are just increasing and getting famous so AI will affect them soon.

The market is constantly fluctuating and it is hard to predict, at the present time all eyes are looking towards bitcoin, you can see that bitocin prices are rising dramatically in the past few days and are now at the $ 9600 mark and is still holding up momentum. According to my analysis, the price of bitcoin will probably hit $ 10000 today and you will be able to trade bitcoin in that range.

He is mainly my source for trading, but I also follow quite a few YouTube channels like Boxmining, DataDash and I'm also subscribed to Tony Ivanov but rarely open up his videos because all of the information I need is already answered by the first channels which I mentioned. I follow based on my own analyzations. I have sets of factors that serves as my ingredients and recipes to create a final output. Just following other sources will just sometimes lead you into opposite things that you want to happened since you just follow and didn't understand how they came up with the output like that.

Plus following others strategy might not be helpful to you even you will see that they are having a good result out of it. Those signal groups have lots of stash on hand so if you are just an average joe you can't ride fully with the trend.

My advice, just spend time doing trades and soon you will automatically knows what things should be done in the long run. Experience is one of the best recipe to fully complete a certain analyzation.

Good answers, thank you everyone for helping others but the problem is most of you are not giving names, addresses, just talking about unknown groups etc.
Share them if they were useful for you.

Why it turned out like that? Because most people here are not following at any trading signals or groups. Spend time learning things.

Hmm, have you noticed how many times these guys have managed to predict the prices and confirm if they were really correct? because, speaking from personal experience, I observed them for a while and realized that they fail in their analysis, so that I do not advise people to trade based in them, that would be a big mistake. Do your analysis yourself, if you do not know how to do your analysis, then learn to do your own analysis, but do not trust other people to do analysis for you. In my case, I do my research and decide for myself and if something goes wrong, then the only culprit will be myself

In my point, we should do our own research rather than following someone, Yes, there are some groups which explains the coins which can be invested and about the future, we can consider the discussions but we should not get to a conclusion based on the discussions. we can do a research based on the inputs we get out of discussions and make a decision on the investment.
Own researches might be good only when you are having sufficient experience in market predictions. Without them you could never find yourself into profits when you are making your predictions calls by yourself. Till you are gaining experience, it is highly recommended to follow some other people for accurate trading calls.

For example, they're predict doge will up and i buy it, but what happened was the opposite.

After that, i make myself brave to learn and try to make myself sure that i can count on myself. And finally if you sure to yourself, you must be can.

It's actually good to listen to views and opinions of other people. We actually have a closed group on facebook where most of the people there are experienced traders and at the same time bounty hunters too. We share ideas and in sights about some coins and sometimes recommend coins worth investing. That is where I actually make some of my trade or investment decisions.

I followed my guts in trading and because of this I having been developing my skills and knowledge on how to become a professional trader and analysing the market myself is what I desire to do. Many experts has couse more losses to traders more than any expect of trading information.

Just follow yourself because you know very well how you will react with market and what stuff you do yourself. Other people will just tell you something that they know and to be honest it doesn't really workout for ourselves. See, various people are having their own techniques which may or may not work for us. They think in different way and they know when to apply the strategies and thats why they get success. But you can work best with your own strategies and tell you what when you trade you always workout the math. You may read this as something absurd idea but its the truth. You try it first then you will understand.

I follow myself. I completely ignore what the rest of the people or self claimed wannabe experts come up with because it is nothing more than noise. Trusting 'sources' is never a good thing because it only distracts you from your own approach and way of thinking. I don't need anyone to tell me anything. If my approach and way of thinking doesn't apply well to a certain market situation, I simply adapt and adjust where needed. At the end of the day this market is full of TA clowns thinking to predict the top or bottom, or the next main resistance barriers, but one slight impulse of a large trader or whatever announcement can mess up everything. Nothing wrong with soaking in constructive advice, but always follow your own route. In general, others don't know more than you if you understand how things are being played here, never forget that.

I fully endorse this statement. Looking at others predictions usual ends up being distracting and confusing. The only useful thing to come from keeping an eye on the opinions of the masses is as a contrarian indicator. When nearly everyone is bearish the market is likely to turn upwards and vice versa.

Here are a few guys from tradingview I follow and check on the regular: Crypto_Ed, CryptoRand, EXCAVO, ApeX_Trading_Group, LewisGlasgow, Intuit.

follow the opinions of others and spend your own money . this is unwise , in trading , i only believe in myself . if it's wrong , i'll learn a lesson . i can do better next time .

No one person in particular but I follow 5-10 people closely on twitter and youtube. I try to stay away from the biggest names in crypto because they have too much influence in my opinion, which generally leads to me some twitter OGs.

you don't need to, in fact you should not follow anyone but yourself! the only resources you need are charts and they are easily accessible on any exchange out there and also the news which is small thing but it is best to have at the back of your mind and that is also accessible using google even!

the thing about trading is that you either have the knowledge or experience or you should stay away. you can obtain it too but if you are actually trading not learning you should know it already. and to learn you should follow someone, you should first read how to trade from general sources like investopedia then watch the market for a while.

Do you have any information to back up that claim? It would seem that the best traders are those that have developed their own strategy are follow the rules they have developed for themselves to be the best route. Anyone that is following another trader, or news source is going to get bit and lose sooner or later. I have found that anybody following a few sources, rather than self-discipline and a pioneer approach are never around one-year later. I have watched so many signal services, and similar people that claim they know which direction the market is going to move and within a year they disappear without flaw. If they are truly manipulative they will begin charging money for their information, before realizing their ego is artificially inflated. The market does a good job at chopping down "giants" at the knees.

I personally use and speculate coindesk as a good source of news for crypto currencies. There i can really rely on each and every news coming from them because they don't publish frauds and fake news from the very beginning. Atleast their good on their topics and the content are always interesting.

Here is a good discussion:

[1] Which Twitter accounts to follow for good trading decisions?
[2] The 10 bitcoin traders you must follow on Twitter
[3] Best Twitter accounts that speculators follow here?
[4] can you recommend me someone professional in crypto to follow on twitter/blog

But I would advise you to make your own decision. Those twitter accounts is like a "nice haves". But the final decision will still be yours so just used your common sense.
