Probably theymos can stop it. If he decided to remove the bounty section of altcoins. However should we resort on that solution? I dont think so. The one can reduce the case at least are the hunters. Stop feeding them free promotions. Know yout worth, if you think the project is likely a scam then dont promote them and join their marketing. Always accept a decent offer and make sure that its handled by reputable manager. Relax mate from the sound of it, it seem too many works you already did.

the only way you can do is not join them or simply join the BTC paying campaign, they are often the most legit projects that will pay. There are few that are actually good projects but you'd have to really look for them among the flood of scams. If they are one of the projects that just copies the other, it's more than likely a scam. NTF or Defi projects today are somehow scams because the trend is already over.

If you have this perception then don't participate no one is forcing you, and if you think that the bounty is a scam then create a scam report, reputable members are doing their shares by tagging these scammers and there's no pay in going after them tracing them and suing them, just do diligent research all the projects that you are participating.
Exactly DYOR is the best way to prevent yourself from helping a bounty scam. I think the only thing that can prevent these bounty scams from scamming people is when everyone does their research about the project to see if they are a real or a scam and if they are a scam then they get ignored.

Currently the bounty forum is filled with scammer. Currently many new bounties have coming. Be it real or scam project.
The participants in the bounty are working hard day after day. But the bounty participants are not getting any profit / money. If it is a real project, the team of the project is not keeping their promise. They make various excuses to pay the salarmuirmirmiejry. And they find ways to escape. No action was taken against them later.
If it continues like this, everyone will lose confidence in Bounty.
In this situation, the bounty managers have some influence.
Does anyone have any such solution? Through which it will be possible to prevent scammer.
I have noticed no one can stop a scam bounty campaign...

Tens of new bounties appear every month, even though the team is really real, it doesn't guarantee that they will pay, even many campaign managers are deceived by projects that use their services. do not expect more and depend your life on the current bounty campaign, just do what you can do.

Even if the bounty pay the promised tokens, may times those tokens never list on exchanges or their listing get too much delay. Sometimes even after listing, the project fails and no one is interest to but those coins. If the team tires to list it on decentralized exchanges, they may face liquidity issues if they do not have big community. There are a lot of factors which together contribute in failure of bounty.

Dude here’s the reality. It’s not easy to stop scammers either the project or the bounty managers. And also just like holding and trading cryptocurrencies with your own funds, we are also risking our time and effort in participating bounty programs. You have to acknowledge and having a mindset that there are no guarantees when it comes to rewards due to various circumstances such as delays, sudden rug pulls, changing of minds, etc.

Never expect too much when you participate in bounty programs. And also, don’t make this as your full time job. I’ve been there before, and I learned from it alongside not managing my finances well.

If it continues like this, everyone will lose confidence in Bounty.

You are new to this forum and bounty hunting and hence you think that if bounties continue to scam, people will lose interest in the bounty. Unfortunately that is not the case here. There has be many useless bounty in which bounty hunters are paid nothing or paid useless token, yet their interest in joining more bounties does not stop. Bounties are scamming for years but the interest in joining bounty remains unchanged.

You can stop. Yes, only you can stop being scam yourself. No one else can help you here except you. Simply avoid scammy projects would help reduce getting bounty scams. You are expecting money for spamming and they are scamming you. If you promote a scam project and by chance, a few investors lose money due to your spam then you are also responsible for that. Because you are spreading words about a project, but you don't have faith if it's a scam or not. Also, do you care about Bounty managers? Very rarely projects turned into scams managed by well-reputed managers. You should follow them only if you want to avoid being a scam. Also, you have to do your own research before starting a bounty project, there is no alternative.

OP, looking at your message history shows that you are a desperate bounty hunter. But the fact that you started to resent and created such a topic is a very positive sign. Many such people have gone through your path, and in the end, conclude that their participation in bounty companies is futile.
Bounty fraud stories have been going on for a very long time, and as you can see, they do not stop. Therefore, it's time for you to accept that you need to grow further, learn bitcoin, start writing on the forum not only reports but also meaningful posts. Ultimately, the forum has privileges to participate in subscription companies, and receive some financial reward.
OP is basically going through a character development, bounty campaign have come and go a long time ago and the remaining ones are just scraps of the past, it's rare to find a bounty campaign that really pay nowadays, I wanted to join in one when I wasn't in Bitvest signature campaign but all I see are people warning others about bounties not paying what should be paid.

If there is a demand to join bounty campaigns, there will be a market for bounty campaigns as well. Additionally there will a group of scammers willing to run fake bounties as a method to promote their scams by these people who have no idea of what they are promoting.

Add into the fact that most bounty hunters dont care to learn about the project first or do some basic research on the topic, the team and its whitepaper, you have a easy method to use a number of minions to run your scam project and get some legit investors to waste their money on you.

This has been the basic problem since the ICO hype. Same scammers keep the IEO/STO/IDO/ etc running because they know it is like free labor for them. Bounty managers are paid by the team to organize the bounty. They have no power over the same. They are also a participant in the promotional budget of the team.

The only way to stop this is not to take part in bounty campaigns any more. We have signature campaigns paying in bitcoin. You should try those out.

The only solution to stop bounty campaign is by not join in any of them. Let their bounty without any participation from bounty hunters, with that all of us won't waste our time and get scammed by them. You and others who joined on bounty are those who can stop them, not me, i'm not joined in bounty campaign.

My solution is the users, if the users stop joining them, then they will eventually fizzle out of existence but as long as there are people out there that are still doing the same thing then there will be no end to bounty campaigns that are scams. They want more people so if there is no people promoting them, they will eventually stop.

And you're right, the teams often change the rules last minute, but sometimes it's understandable.

Your experience in bounties is higher than anyone else here, so could you explain when or under which circumstances it is understandable to make last minute changes? I just cant imagine any reason why someone would change his mind and count it as acceptable, when the work is already done.

I think your claim is right.
But it is not right for you to claim. I saw your profile. This is your first post without a campaign. If you just come here to campaign, then it is not right. There are many more boards. You have to see there. , Learn. As soon as you know all the things will be very useful for you.You will be able to understand the scam then. There is no way to stop it. You have to work knowingly. The scam is mandatory. Why don't you sign one? You have permission to do this. This is not a big obstacle for you if you just campaign.

Bounty and airdrops have been useless for a long long time. Sure, from time to time some gem that has actually any value comes through, but most of the time, it's worthless.
And you're right, the teams often change the rules last minute, but sometimes it's understandable.
Bounty, as a marketing strategy is SHIT. Mostly bots on twitter with 0 outreach

You yourself keep on blindly on every new bounty and you always join me looking at your post history full of bounty reports then why are you complaining about this? did you not check the bounty that will join?
I think there is nothing to stop this step, sometimes the bounty is legit or a scam, it depends on each person's judgment if you think this is a scam then don't do your job I know you are bored because you don't get paid that is worth your work day after day continue to promote the bounty

Ultimately it's the fault of bounty managers - they shouldn't take on shitty projects (at least not without escrow), and they should enforce quality controls. But if you're blindly signing up for campaigns that have none of that, you shouldn't be complaining.
Bounties scam at times may not be the fault of the bounty manager, the problem do comes from the fact that the bounty hunters are paid in bounty coin or token. Just like the recent student coin, participants were expecting over $2000 (I am not 100% sure) worth of the the coin given, but later resulted to scam. There are some that resulted to pump and dump in the past, which result to abrupt and significant drop of the bounty coin when listed in which the bounty hunters will also lose. But, the reality is that one bounty hunters can participate in many bounty projects, some are profitable but many are not profitable and some result to pure scam. The best are just the signature campaign that its campaign manager is reputed an the payment is Bitcoin or coins that can not be manipulated, if the certain amount is with campaign manager already, participants will not have doubt and they will all be paid accordingly.

The bounty coin or token can be escrowed but yet lead to exit scam after successful ICO
Also the bounty coin or token can be escrowed and yet significant fall in price of the coin or token that will not make the escrowed amount profitable.

The scam is as a result of the bounty coin or token which will become shit coin immediately after listing it on exchanges with significant price drop, or that will not even later exist after exit scam of an ICO.

They make various excuses to pay the salarmuirmirmiejry.

I don't think they need to make excuses. If you post this kind of garbage for your bounty tasks and don't bother to proof-read - you can't expect to be paid anything of value.

Ultimately it's the fault of bounty managers - they shouldn't take on shitty projects (at least not without escrow), and they should enforce quality controls. But if you're blindly signing up for campaigns that have none of that, you shouldn't be complaining.

Do you really think that all of those 100 projects have a solid future? will they all raise the necessary funds through crowdfunding? Of course, no. But you ignore that fact and still participating in all.
My impression of bounty hunters has always been that they're desperate for money (or just plain greedy), and that's why they'll take the chance that they'll get scammed in the end after doing whatever work the bounty requires.  I can't think of any other reason why so many people would participate in these idiotic project bounties that pay out in tokens that will most likely be worthless.

And OP, you registered here late last year (assuming that's your only account), thus you're new to all of this.  But for those of us who've been here a few years, the problem of scamming bounties is nothing new.  I'm pretty sure the same scams have been going on since the beginning of bounties back in 2017 or so.

If you really want to earn money on bitcointalk--and I don't think that's a good reason for being a member here--you should join a bitcoin-paying signature campaign managed by a reputable campaign manager.  They're much harder to get into than bounties, but you generally wouldn't have to worry about getting scammed.

"Real" project! As DireWolfM14 said, you would do your own research before joining bounties, and I'm saying it's once again because SafeCovid ....
I wonder who believes crap like this would turn to be a real project.

You know this thing is also a double-edged sword, right? A lot of bounty hunters care only about their tokens, I've seen hundreds of them claiming that project x and y is not a scam because they've paid their bounty, in your eyes, it doesn't matter if you advertised a project that will most likely end with all the investors losing money as long as you get to dump some tokens at the launch and get some precious $.

Just like there is nobody protecting investors from a shitcoin failure the only protection you can get with bounties is by demanding payment in BTC and the funds secured with escrow, but nobody will do that because 99% of those projects are launched with a 100$ budget.

If it continues like this, everyone will lose confidence in Bounty.

You're late by a few years, there is no confidence left, it's pure gambling, and hoping one out of many will pay.

Bounties can result to scam, bounty hunters are paid in coins or tokens that is being promoted. This makes it difficult or impossible for the bounty manager to have escrowed amount. The promoted coin or token can be manipulated and it might not even later exist.

If you want a campaign that will not lead to scam, go for signature campaigns in which certain amount would have been escrowed to a reputed campaign manager before the start of the campaign, else good luck.

<...>
In addition, some bounty projects are pump and dump. Also, like you commented, many will result to exit scam.

Bounty programs lost confidence a long time ago when bounty hunters farming accounts and participate with automated scripts and providing low-quality marketing campaigns.
Which are bounty participants working hard? Mostly they are all spammers who write nonsense on social networks, "good project" "nice idea"...
None of them does make any research about the project and does not consider the potential success or failure of the project itself. They only know to fill the form, post proof of auth post and spam with report link.
Bounty hunter which has no repost, like, comment on their posts it is just a waste of time and resources. He brought nothing in promoting the project.

You, for example, probably participate in all of the bounty programs listed here. Do you really think that all of those 100 projects have a solid future? will they all raise the necessary funds through crowdfunding? Of course, no. But you ignore that fact and still participating in all. It's easier for you bounty hunters to participate, even to do some research is it worth.

I agree with you, bounty hunters need to be paid, but what you will do with a useless token on your wallet? A token that never had to go to the exchange and never will worth any penny?
Probably BH can think about creating a syndicate or something like that and set some norms and minimum quality. (it's just an idea)

To be clear, I do not defend any project which denies paying for the bounty program, but it is pointless to blame only them. as long as you bounty hunters are eager to access such programs and they will have such an attitude towards you bounty hunters.

Short answer: No one.

I hate to be callus about this, but if bounty hunters refuse to take the time to research the projects they support, this kind of thing will never stop.  As long as there are gullible people wiling to shill for projects that turn out to be scams 99.9% of the time, there will be scammers to take advantage of them.

The altcoin section and specifically the bounty section is full of scammers.  Most of the time bounties are paid in the altcoin which the project is promoting, so even if the bounty hunters get paid there's no guarantee the altcoin will ever have any value.  The project could be just priming the altcoin for an exit scam anyway, so unless the bounty hunter is able to cash out early, his time has been wasted.  That's assuming the there's a market (and/or exchange listing) for the altcoin in the first place.  Never trust the project promotors' claims of the value of their altcoins, without a market there's no way to confirm, and more often than not, it's a lie to lure in the gullible and the greedy.
