Once a man, twice a child!

Some update they give are can be real while some can be unreal too.
I doubt any crypto influencer will intentionally make a false call. What will that be for? I doubt. What I think can happen is that genuinely made calls turn out to be inaccurate. Influencers like to brag when what they say comes to past. That even earns them more subscribers or followers and then earned trust. I don't see how they will want to lose that for the mere sake of giving false prediction knowingly.

You pointed out to OP only from Bitcoin related reads. I believe OP will like a broad reading that also encompasses altcoins.

Satoshi Nakamoto himself can be read here in this forum. It's also available easily here:

I always like to read the original stuff to make up my own mind about it.

So, as the question says who do you think a beginner could follow on twitter/read the blog /watch on youtube in order to learn/understand the cryptomarket? Basically looking for some source of info that makes sense to consume, as there are tons of garbage on the Internet.
There are several crypto influencers that you can easily watch on YouTube. I don't want to put out any name here because I don't know how your passion is and to what extend you would want to take their word and call of action. To be frank, crypto is a highly speculative business and as such no one should take anyone seriously serious when predictions are made. Nonetheless, you should watch and take points from them but don't follow whatever they say hook, line and sinker.

No one can be 100% perfect in cryptocurrency, I don't see see cryptocurrency influencers to be perfect in every prediction they give concerning cryptocurrency.  Some update they give are can be real while some can be unreal too. So it is left for one to make research to know which updates that can be accepted from cryptocurrency influencers.

Question is what does the beginner want to learn about crypto? There are plenty of stuffs to learn in here and not just trading. In my niche, I tend to just learn blockchain apps creation in my own sandbox machine to learn more, not that I am full-time into it though.
Back then I learned day trading in Youtube from some youtuber like Crypto Jack, I am not sure if he still makes quality videos since I had quit day trading long time ago.

Op, since you mentioned the crypto market, I guess you want to learn more about trading. Before you start following some reputable traders or investors on social media, I suggest you master the basics first.
Try to get a basic understanding of how the market works, and how to use different trading strategies. Many of these traders also talk about fundamental and technical analysis, so I suggest you read up on those as well. This will help you to understand about their trading strategies, and you can then follow them without any fear of being lost in the technical jargon.

I'm glad you realise there is tons of garbage to easily mislead newcomers into investing in
dodgy projects or promising all sorts of trading gains by following their referral links etc.

Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin
Hy friend! You didn't define your specific area of interest, so I'll give you a generic one that will provide you with basic information and help you understand bitcoin technical learning.
You should look into learnmeabitcoin[1], it is very self-explanatory for beginner steps and technical parts for beginners, and it also teaches you all you need to know about the main bitcoin technical aspects. Mastering Bitcoin[2] is a book that covers all aspects of bitcoin anatomy and will benefit you in the long term.

Reading is my best choice when come to education. Here is my recommendation:
  • Binance Academy: this is the best place for beginners. Tons of knowledge and you are free to begin anywhere you like. But take it slowly because consuming all of the information in a week or less is impossible
  • Coindesk or Cointelegraph: high quality crypto articles. News is updated every day with a wide and deep insight. You might need basic to intermidiate knowledge of blockchain before being able to fully understand articles
  • Extra: Coinmarketcap Alexandria

So what kind of knowledge you want learn first.
There are vast knowledge/topic to start with in crypto actually.

At least:
- Basic knowledge for bitcoin/crypto.
- Technical-related of bitcoin/crypto/blockchain.
- Security of wallets.
- Crypto Trading.
- Other stuff to learn and earn.

If you can provide particularly about what and which, then people can give you recommendations about what to read, listen and watch.

Plenty of shillers on Twitter and bag dumpers. Most likely yiu could get a lot of info here in forum just read compilations of topics on which do you like to learn about.

Use the search function and start digging. Im also fond of watching on Youtube, maybe follow Chico Crypto he has a turn on new projects or some airdrops related one like uni, 1inch, and etc.

Read the bitcoin white paper and ifnyou don't understand then read about blockchain then the story will continue until you finish. Instead of looking at someone's content just check the reference and analysis on your this is not only for cryptocurrency which applies for everything you want to learn.

Start with those exchanges source of information like how to start with the market and the strategies that they've got.

Like in Binance, they have the Binance academy.

https://academy.binance.com/en

There are too many information and topics that you can read there and as a start, that will open your mind to different ideas about the crypto market and trading.

Basically looking for some source of info that makes sense to consume, as there are tons of garbage on the Internet.
Reading or binge watching stuffs would allow you separate the garbage from content that are useful to newbies.

What do you wish to understand about the crypto market? That's a long train with lots of smaller coaches.

I am mostly interested in understanding Bitcoin and how it works so this forum, Bitcoin wiki and some other resources are what I use. If you're interested in trading, you'll meet lots of shillers on social media who only talk about what's going 100× in a week, but there would still be the tiny minority that share useful content, just do a bit of research and then some more.

Before someone gave a guide to those newbies, they're already follow and read anything on social media lol.

It's not recommendable for a beginner who doesn't know anything to learn Bitcoin through social media. Books e.g. Mastering Bitcoin is the best to start, however most teenager doesn't like to read books and only want to read short articles or watch on youtube. To be honest they also can learn through this forum or reddit. The thing is they're mostly looking about trading and how to earn money, not want to learn from the basic.

1. Read books
2. Look around Twitter for reputable traders/investors that doesn't promote paid groups and doesn't just deliberately shill their bags
3. Read a good chunk of articles about market psychology

P.S. if you're only going to buy BTC, probably just learn about Bitcoin in general and just do dollar-cost averaging.
