The way it is setup from the first season, it seems like Jon Snow is the most likely candidate.
But this is Mr Martin we're talking about. Unlike most GOT fans I started watching the show first, as opposed to reading the book(s) first.
Judging by the fact that there have been long-standing payoffs, like Geoffrey dying. Battle of the bastards, Tyrion's adventure & rise to powe - amongst others. I think that Job Snow is the safest bet.
UNLESS the showrunners want to cash in on the "female lead / feminism" band wagon and put that idiotic Daenerys on the throne.

PS: A resurrected Ned would be awesome. But idk if that's going to be possible as he is just a head on a spike somewhere with his body already disposed off.
