Guys i just want to ask if you are not halving any issue using jaxx i just heard that this wallet can handle different crypto's
Now i heard many bad news here in this section about jax like sending bitcoin but the txid is no record when checking on the blockchain or any issue..

Do you think guys is good wallet to choose if you are holding other coins?
What jaxx wallet are best desktop or mobile wallet?

really jaxx designing is really amazing. it has great design intuitive interface and multiple alt coins support and multiple platform support. those all are good and secure coins so once try to this coins. so most of the people interested to use this coins but in this coins had one disadvantaged that one is security. security is more less in this coin. so few body getting to fear to use this wallet. but this jaxx wallet can allow all coins and giving good response.

Yeah I know Ledger Nano, to be honest I'm seriously thinking about getting one, or maybe the Blue version, which is a bit bigger and I prefer a bigger screen  Smiley

It does look like a joke... Thanks for the info  Wink
Only ledger nano is a good alternative for jaxx wallet if you really want to be safe with all of you cryptocurrency ledger nano s is one of the safety wallet that we can hold multiple cryptocurrency.. for now i can't recommend jaxx since many of us are still complaining some bugs and isee about the wallet. Ledger nano s is  a hardware wallet that a good place if you really want to hold for a long time .. you can use it offline its just like a trezor but the different it can hold different crypto unlike trezor  that you can only hold bitcoin..

Block halving is coming.
I used the Jaxx wallet for some time. Be careful if you use the wallet on a mobile phone with a bad mobile or data connection. Sometimes the coins are lost.
The other issue are the qr codes. The qr codes don't seem what they are if I scan my ethereum qr code with with an image scanner it is actually an iban number and not an ethereum public  key. Now why the JAXX guys would do this, I have no idea.

Thanks for the info its clear right now for me why they  are not recommending this jaxx wallet to me i just heard this wallet and always seen in unread posts.
Looks like my plan is to buy ledger nano s which is immune to viruses that i think i can hold different altcoin and bitcoin..
I don't seen any good online wallet these days almost all are not safe so ledger nano is the only one i think the safiest ..

It is not that recommended to use Jaxx wallet. If you want a good wallet for security and ease of use everyday I suggest you go with Electrum wallet both in desktop and mobile. Make sure to safeguard the seed extremely well as that is all you need to restore bitcoins if you format your PC for example or wipe your phone. Lately Jaxx wallet is using some high fees and many people are complaining about that.

In Electrum I paid yesterday only 0.0009 btc fee for sending a transaction of 0.08 btc meaning it will not do games in the fees, you are in full control. Of course I only had this amount from 1 input. If you have many inputs even in Electrum you pay high fees.
Honestly my plan is to hold other altcoin and bitcoin both in one wallet i heard that jaxx are good choice if you want to hold altcoin and bitcoin in the same place.
Well looks like its not a good idea to choose Jaxx maybe i need to look for other that can handle any cryptocurrency.

Using Jaxx to hold altcoins and bitcoins in the same wallet puts all your coins at the risk of being stolen. Hackers have found a vulnerability in Jaxx and are using it to steal people's coins.

Reports are surfacing of a ‘vulnerability’ in Jaxx wallet leading to at least $400,000 customer funds being stolen.

A report on the insufficient wallet backup phrase storage methods this weekend has now updated to include reports that hackers are already exploiting the problem to steal cryptocurrency from users.

After you read the whole article[1], you will come up with the decision of not using this wallet again (most likely). Basically, they have no plans to alter or change the security setup of their wallet. I'd recommend everyone to either stop using this wallet or simply stop storing large amounts.

I would advise against using Jaxx wallet, as the private keys are not encrypted and anyone who gets access to your device can easily get your password.

I don't like jaxx, the bitcoin fee is way too much.  Sad

What do you mean to much fee they are not manually setup fee for every transaction.. or auto estimation fee?
