A good up bringing will play a vital role at this stage of their lives. Parents should learn how to spend more time observing the behavior of their children at adolescent and should always give them advise to help them overcome these vices. Bringing them close to God and allow them to partake in things of God will be a good way to prevent them from getting influenced by their environment because they will have less time to mingle with their friends and will put into consideration whatever action they want to carry out. It is the duty of the parents to know which type of friends that they keep by interacting with both child and friends once a while. You're actually right here, upbringing matters alot in a child's growth and development and the environment we also lived in determines how our children respond to their growth and development including how they behaved in the society, we need to be deliberate in their upbringings to ensure that they get the best and qualitative parent control while they were still young, they are the future leaders of tomorrow and we must help them towards realizing whom they are and the way expected of them to follow in life in other to accomplish ambition and destiny.

Children who do not have any kind religious or disciplined background will more easily take up bad behaviors to the extreme without any restrictions. If you have passed this stage of life and see a young person oing through it, offer them advice if they need it, and do not judge them or criticize them for the decisions they have taken so far.
