DeepBit,
Out of curiosity is 1VayNert a vanity address of just another randomly generated address? If vanity does it have any special meaning?
Would it still be interesting if I spoil the mystery ?

Of course I do. Only ~daily amount of coins is kept online.
Those enormous thousands of BTC are shown because the change is pumped via this address many, many times and it's not related to real sum.

Of course I know that, those 800k don't worry me. However I mixed that 50k daily volume and I thought this address is keeping 50k BTC. Now I see it's only around 800 BTC, which is of course fine (I'm keeping similar balance).

I expected he's using some cold storage...

As you may remember, I was among the first miners to support sendmany and included your first transactions in my blocks :)
Generation of my own sendmany TX is coming soon, since I can't remember why I decided not to use them earlier.

I'm surprised that deepbit isn't using sendmany and also that process payouts from so big account. I expected he's using some cold storage...

Yeah, looks like many single payments.  None the less, the address in the OP's thread is the address I receive my auto-payments from when sent from Deepbit.

The book encourages people to determine what truly makes them happy and pursue monetizing around it on the internet. It argues that because of recent social and technological trends the cost of producing content has been driven low enough that passion, knowledge, and effort, which the book calls "sweat equity", are now all one needs to build a brand and business.

Has anyone else noticed a huge amount of transactions coming from this address?

Over 50,702 BTC and 1500 transactions in the past 24 hours, that is nearly 20% of all transactions. They don't look like spam, is this a Mt.Gox address?
