Who is grounding their GPUs, mobos, to case and rack?

Regarding the flammability of wood I found an interesting read below(page 8 to be precise)

I believe even even prolonged exposure in the mining rig will bring the temperature above 100C so I think its safe to say it wont catch fire.

I once had a 6 gpu rig made with wood, and what I did was run 1.5sq mm wire with rig terminal to each of the gpu, and the PSU, I put the rig terminal just below the top connector and screwed the GPU in place and for the PSU I place one above the backplate connector and secured it with a screw. I had all the ground wires in turn connected to a 4sq mm wire that was connected to the ground wire.

To be honest that was my first rig and was scared so went with that crazy setup Cheesy

That's one way to warm up your rump on a cold wintery day. I think my wife will want me to make one like that if she sees it.

Wood is better because if something becomes loose it won't create a huge short since it doesn't conduct electricity.

Everything will be fine. Wood doesn't burn at such low degrees.
Wood ignites at 300c, 90c degrees higher than diesel does. You'd be hard-pressed to get your GPUs above 70c when mining.

Your ATX 24pin connector grounds it with the PSU even if you don't ground the mount points. Also the grounds are also thru your GPUs gnd points.

Most have wooden racks and those you can't ground anyways.

Something I never thought about and is rather important is the ground issue. A case normally is grounded and the cards are secured to the case. But our gigs are open air with wood or plastic or metal.

How can I make sure everything is grounded properly especially if I'm going to be loading this all on a metal kitchen rack.
