Hello Guys,
A few days after Binance registration I started getting spam emails & text messages:
  • "Your balance that day is $ 289,369.90 confirm your data.."
  • "Received To welcome 180.978,44 £ in your Account"
  • "congratulation!!! you are winner please verify your information"

the last number was from Sri Lanka: https://who-called.co.uk/Number/94115964112

what is going on?

Are you getting these emails from binance ? You should check from where these emails are coming to you and you could block those emails, if they are not from binance. Also you should not share your binance email address with anyone to be on the safe side.

in fact, binance is not necessarily responsible for this any site to which we register by providing our data in theory it can resell our data included in user data packages to advertising agencies this practice is used by practically all social network and by google

Hello Guys,
A few days after Binance registration I started getting spam emails & text messages:

It doesn't necessarily mean that Binance is responsible for it. You probably have used the same email address and mobile phone number for other services. I have a Binance account, and I haven't got any spam on that inbox. But I have a method to use a different email address for each service.

Almost everyone in this world receives such text message and emails to their mobile means once you register your email on any website then it is possible to get stolen or sold. So never use your primary emails to register on any websites and better don't use gmails because its a known fact that google is selling our data.

If you are looking for an email that gives complete privacy then I will recommend you to move to proton mail.

Thanks! I will try ProtonMail

I am a verified Binance user but i have not received any spam emails from other site or personalities aside from the Update
from binance network in regards to their activities and anything that concerns me being trader.

So i assume that you have registered in other site that triggers these spamming.

Those are spam emails and if you can track down those websites that you have signed up, they could be from those websites too that had spread the emails registered on their platform.

You don't waste your time from those emails.
