Why not? Have you seen Capitalism: A Love Story? He's not against capitalism, just the cronie-capitalism practiced today. I don't think he would be a good proponent of Bitcoin because I doubt he would understand it before it is accepted by a critical mass market. We need someone like Woz to give Bitcoin street cred. We'll probably have to settle for fringe types like Ron Paul for awhile.

Kudos to Max Keiser and Rick Falkvinge for jumping on the Bitcoin wagon. Nothing great was ever achieved without taking a chance. They both have the insight to see the problems and how to work toward a real world way to fix them. They help give Bitcoin more legitimacy. Now we need to take it to the next level. We need someone that can get the attention of the whole world. We need someone that can face criticism and know that it is all baseless fear mongering.

My first choice is Banksy. But there are others that would do well to support Bitcoin development. Gavin and the Bitcoin dev team need help! You know that Bitcoin is the answer to fixing the corruption in large financial transactions. You probably feel like most celebrities that don't want to take a chance with taking sides on a controversial subject. That's why I think you have it all over Michael Moore to show that a grass roots effort can shake the world of big banks. We don't need people marching on Wall Street, we need people using Bitcoin. Your artistic voice can show in one powerful image more than any book or movie how a single individual to make a difference.

We need hackers. Plain and simple. We don't need corporate groupthinkers that develop short term profit centers. We need inspired software artists like Satoshi. They are out there. They know what Bitcoin is and what it is capable of, but they haven't the time to put into developing long ranged projects. Many of them are romantic artists like yourself that are willing to sacrifice their careers to have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to help with a true revolution. They need a leader with the human spirit of progress to help them unify their collective efforts to craft a new future.

Michael Moore might one day make a documentary about Bitcoin, but right now the medium we need is on the streets.
