escrower are trustworthy  generally speaking

I found this list:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-bitcointalks-escrow-providers-ranking-blacklist-avoid-scam-276897

Is it actual, or maybe you know something more fresh?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/escrow-list-108716

Being an escrow doesn't make you trusted. I'll be honest, there are a few on those lists I wouldn't trust with anything more then 1 BTC. Just a scam waiting to happen if a large amount of BTC is involved.

Trust people you know can be trusted. Don't trust people because others say they can be trusted and don't go by the default trust list, it's broken as others pointed out before.

Neither of these 2 are updated for long. I think this is the latest one => https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-escrows-trade-safely-855778

Thanks for tips guys!

But if someone will give me bad feedback - that can be not fair or even manipulation!

The way I see it, you should trust nobody and use the trust ratings for further investigation.

The majority of my default trust is people I have met up with in real life, had a few beers and longs talks.

In reality, trust no one.....

Imo the list for DefaultTrust should be occasionally reviewed to add/remove people who are trustworthy or gone to the dark side.

But you could always remove DefaultTrust from your list and make your own

This is good advice.  Make your own custom trust list.  The only downside is you wont see what most other users see for people's trust.

So the answer to the OP's question as pointed out by Brewins is you don't have to trust anyone other than theymos, and even he does not have to be in your trust list.

There is a normal check and balance process involved. CanaryInTheMine has now removed der_troll's trust, so if it later turns out that his judgement was wrong he will lose his status. Being on the default trust is a responsibility.

There has been cases recently where members have been removed from the default trust list.

Only people you have to trust if you are here is theymos, because he can read all your pms and see everything you do and see all your IPs. If for some reason he goes mad he could do lots of damage.

Other you don't really to trust. That's why you can delete the whole trust and make only your own trust counts for you.

Recently I just saw that Cryptomine.io receive a red feedback from Mabsark (default trust)
and Mabsark also receive a red feedback from der_troll (default trust)

And I'm called it "Chain of Red Feedback"

Who must we trust ?
Is this kind of trust abuser ?

Thanks for the attention , guys

One of them (rightfully) expresses distrust in a few glaringly obvious ponzi scams that refuse to make promised disclosures. That person has been contributing to this forum since 2011
The other promotes scams like terabox, posts mostly silly gifs and offered to sell his account

Take your pick, but my guess is der_troll account was sold and is now being abused to push scams.

You are talking about DefaultTrust list. Just change the depth to one or copy-paste names from the dbshck's post and change the depth to 0. In your trust list, add Vod too. Smiley

Yes but if he changes to 1 only him will see so, other users with depth level 2 will not see the same thing. I think we need a new trust system ( in the new forum software).

That's a bad behaviour, IMO should not put them on default trust until they resolve the problem.

And I would highly trust and respect those guys on Depth 1 default trust.
