I am sure that EOS will remain in the top 10 in the next year. They are very actively developing and so far there are no reasons for the fall of EOS.

Way over valued.
EOS is also the biggest gainer among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization on a week on week basis.
Despite the general downturn, EOS continues to show great prospects, indicating that a good team is at play and the fortunes of the coin are here to stay.
There is considerable interest within the investor community about the platform's mainnet launch. It's definitely a coin to beat.

yes its over hyped way to much and they have the funds raised over 2B dollars so the can put the money to some good use ... well it seems they will be able to release the main net this year as the voting process is underway so after the main net release if there is no critical vulnerability surfaces they have a good chance to stay in top ten otherwise there will be a epic sell of.

Yes, we have the same ideas. I think EOS is not an opponent of Ethereum. In the future, there are only two opponents of Ethereum, one is NEO and the other is ADA.

There are many more blockchains that rival Ethereum, for instance Wanchain, ICON or Rchain and many more in development that claim to be able to do excactly what Ethereum does, plus offer a better scaling and more features. Time will tell.
Zilliqa has a better scalability than EOS. The mainnet of EOS still getting another delay and what a horrible action from the developer. They can't even build a proper code. Remember it doesn't matter how long your code but as long as there will be no vulnerability and that's better. EOS has published million codes with bunch of vulnerabilities.

I am willing to, I think the value of EOS. Not very superior. Even I think it is useless. It cannot replace Ethereum. It is not an opponent of Ethereum. I think Ethereum's opponent may be NEO.

I do not like to bet but I'm pretty sure it's still in the top 10. It's a completely different altcoin from other altcoins. Although there are many bad posts about EOS but I believe it will be a good altcoin in the future. It has created a unique Blockchain and I hope it will be a great piece.
We need to support creativity, which will be a great motivation to promote the development of science and technology in the world.

I agree with you, at the moment EOS is overvalued. But the team has raised 4 Billion $ from their 1 year ICO, and with this kind of money they should be able to build a better platform than the ones  thst already exist on the market.

I'm not sure if you are right, as far as I know eos is now in the top five, and in order for someone to move it from this position, you need to accelerate quite rapidly in growth. And who is lower on the list it can do, if there will be one two coins, then this will not change the situation, therefore, unambiguously, eos will remain in the top ten coins.

I doubt that it will fall down and NEM will take over next top 10 when it comes to technology and popularity worldwide.

Best to invest on this altcoin is NEM and Holo [HOT].

I also think it will be rather Ripple than EOS being kicked out of the top 10 as it has not much going on except being used by banks, besides it‘s premined with s huge token supply, it could dump anytime

I'm ready to bet, I'm sure EOS will stay in the top ten next year, EOS has a strong and nimble team, I'm sure and believe in the team that supports and moves EOS, now what are you going to bet on?
Now eos is hot, who care how is eos going in next 10 years ? I think Ripple is super overvalued compared with eos. So ripple will be kicked out from top coin earlier than eos.

It was way over valued, and yet it becomes even more over valued. Mainnet is barely approaching, problems will bound to be plentiful, but the force of money, the power of $4 billion dollars, this will not yet allow it to slip for the time being. I'm really just shocked that EOS hasn't failed yet and that its supporters are blindly hoping for the best, because they couldn't afford to lose so much money. It will be like Ripple in a sense that it will always be in the top 10 because it is simply just too big.

For the sake of investors, I hope it just crashes quickly and people learn their lessons from trusting schemers like Larimer, though.

NKN has big potential and chances to come in TOP-3 on coinmarketcap next year because they have unique Cellular Automata consensus and other revolutionary things, strong team and all-star advisor Diffie.

Way over valued.
I've been in EOS since it was $.50. It has boomed the past few weeks. So much so, it's growth while still technically in ICO, concerned me. It's a mid to long term shot.

If all work for EOS team will fund raising only then EOS will cost nothing. Larimer has uncompleted work in the BTS and steemet. Maybe EOS will more lucky. But I don't sure that they can make anything close to ETH platform

Yes, the stakes would be very interesting. The project itself is very worthy of due attention. Of course, in the future, he may face various difficulties.

Eos is one of the most overhyped coins ever. I don't expect to see their name anywhere in 5 years. They will probably not be in Top 10 next year and Top 20 next 2 years. New good coins are coming. I don't think anybody wanna bet, even Dan himself. Grin

EOS will not be in the top 10. And it will be in the top 5. I am very confident in this EOS coin. extremely potential. Next year I think it's just behind BITCOIN and ETH

The problem is, you can easily lose bet, because EOS has 420k Ethereum in his account and can buy hit EOS coins so much to inflate prices to skyhigh and keep it in top 10...

So you will likely lose!

EOS is just a bubble coin. They will not be able to rise in the future. I think it can only be ETH or BCH that are two coin worth investing in right now. That is in my opinion.
Overvalued, overhyped, And many more. They will able to rise in the future but remember as you said if that was only becoming another pump and dump coin. Larimer run from bitshares and then steem and the last is EOS.

Why those dumb people are still considered EOS as the future platform and that was a big joke. How EOS comes with the only improvement on the existing protocol just like smartcontract.

It is overvalued I believe, at least as a token with no actual network.

If they actually get their main net launched this year, then I definitely believe there is a huge chance that not only will they stay in the top 5 coins in terms of market capitalization, EOS could even overtake the 4th or 3rd spot, claimed by BCH and XRP at the moment.

We saw what happened with Steemit when it launched, there was a huge hype period that brought prices up drastically. I expect something similar happening to EOS, although I definitely wouldn't buy myself at nearly $20 per EOS, that's just a crazy number for vaporware you're paying for.

How much do you want to bet? And how are we specifically defining "next year"?

...or are you simply trying to stir up a conversation and don't want to make an actual wager?
I really support you to bet with him, I hope he really wants to bet, as he said, I just want to express my opinion, that EOS will reach the top 10 for next year, I can not join the bet, because I have nothing to bet on. Wink Cheesy

That would be very interesting to follow, I hope someone accepted the bet. I still have many doubts about EOS and I believe that the project will still encounter many difficulties. Only now is finishing ICO since it does not even have the Main Net. Still need to walk a lot, so that the current price makes sense.

Is there any platform already working for these types of bets? Anyone with a smart contract who accepts multiple currencies?

Angur was such a project, if I'm not mistaken.
