You clearly missed the rise lately isn't it? Try to educate yourself about XRP. i know it's hard for most of the 'Hardcore' bitcoin investors in here, but with the current adoption rate XRp will dwarf BTC in value sometime next year.
I made a conscious decision not invest in XRP 3 years ago for the same reasons. Not everyone on here is a money hungry corrupted whore, some still have principals and dignity left in themselves..
Would i invest in XRP if i went back 3 years? The answer would still be no, i would of invested more into other alts and came out with the same profit.
In regards to your last point, If your prophecy of the endtimes becomes a reality, XRP is the beginning of the downfall of all cryptocurrencies, it will take years before this is truly realized. In my opinion, it won't happen, we are just seeing many puppet accounts trying to pump this shit further and hook the little fish into buying into this scamcoin.
Lastly i've studied XRP and i watched its history unfold over 3 years, i know all the dirty tricks and avenues this coin took. You probably have no recollection on how the devs held 60% of the entire XRP supply, before burning it off a year or two later. Or how it was de-listed from CMC for many months, maybe even a year? due to corruption with its supply. The list of dirty shit goes on and on.

Edit: i want to make one final point, i'm vocal about XRP for the threat it poses to all crypto-currencies, it truly is an opening for coins just like it to enter the market, you'll see more garbage shit like this from major corporations, banks and governments, it's inevitable. But, a coin is only as good as its adoption/support. XRP makes money hungry ICO's look like saints.
