I think these tokens will eventually be eliminated, because encryption money market competition is brutal, and these tokens, now seems there is only the value of the hype, so they belong to 0 is a matter of time before.

The ICO world has all these short-term projects that are new ways to pay for things with crypto currencies: Reddcoin, WAX, Eroiy, and a bunch of gaming tokens...

And then theres big long-term projects who created new ecosystems for doing business and moving money: like Kora Network, WeAre, and Denaro

Who will win the financial/economic revolution that crypto is bringing?? The single-use tokens or the new payment ecosystems?
Probably none of them, payment tokens are not really doing anything that bitcoin cannot do so what is the point of them? Someone may argue that the transaction cost will be lower but that will be solved in bitcoin eventually so I do not really see a reason for those coins to exist at all, and those projects that are going for the long term trying to create a new ecosystem are probably going to fail simply because it is going to take a very long time for those coins to materialize any kind of results.

Maybe there will be all solutions. tough to tell which one will be the "king" I can easily see a world where all 3 solutions co-exist and different people have their reasons for using each one.

Sorry but none of those tokens are longterm projects. If they run out of money collected from their ICO, how will they get new funding? Do another ICO? That would saturate their distribution further.

I reckon the right way to do it is like what Cryptokitties did. Create the project first, make it work, then look for angel investors for funding. If in case they run out of money, they could look for another funding round from professional investors, without saturating the distribution.

I don't think either of those will "win out" in a total way. In the end I think both systems will be in place but I think payment systems will play a bigger role in cryptocurrencies than these utility and single use tokens. Bitcoin will play one of the biggest roles, but a currency like Storm or WAX will play a minor role perhaps.

I think, will win those coins which will be able to construct the ecosystem and it is successful to introduce it in already existing economy. Thus, allowing the coins to enter a trade turnover of already existing economic model of the real world. But there are highly specialized coins which can exist only within the economic niches. And hardly business corporations of such specific niches will want to mix an internal ecosystem from external.

I think the single-use payment tokens have a smaller market and can reach their goal easier. Just like 15 years ago Ebay used to have all these small home-sellers but then the big companies took over Ebay and Amazon started because online shopping got HUGE. In the short term these specific payment tokens (for 1 purpose) can reach their goal, but they'll get pushed out in a few years.

The payment ecosystems (like Kora for moving money and getting paid wages globally, or like for liquidate-able investments) are shooting for the big goal of being the next Paypal, the next Amazon, the next Western Union or the next wire-transfer...its hard to reach, but the ones that make it will make it huuge and will takeover the markets of these small single-use tokens
