"Jeff Bezos is giving away 5000 BTC"

Yes it sounds silly, but a person started a youtube livestream, added thousands of bots and it was looking legit. I don't have the youtube link, because the channel got banned. Although, there are some people that got fooled by that. Here is the address:
1Amazon1aUWx7kzjzGRGmkEjDLtYZyMzom

In the video Jeff Bezos was talking to his interviews, and there were texts saying "If you send x bitcoins you will get 2x bitcoins"

The guy earnt $20k+ and this has been repeated again by another youtube video ("Elon Musk is giving away 5000 BTC")

People should know that there's no such thing real in that thing so best not to listen nor follow any the same schemes like that since they might get fool in the end of the day, scams are here and scumbags always makes some good techniques just to make their acts legit so for this another good to bookmark for newbies to be a guide about this kind of modus.

If it is too good to be true, then doubt about the authenticity of the promo. They are using known personalities to attract gullible users. And for those who are hoping to get that btc, you are thinking wrong.

Unfortunately those who get caught by this are those newbies hoping to earn a easy money from bitcoin, they should really be careful for un true things especially those who are giving to good to be true earnings and giveaways since there will be a condition or consequences will happen for the person who participate on this schemes.

In the video Jeff Bezos was talking to his interviews, and there were texts saying "If you send x bitcoins you will get 2x bitcoins"

It will attract many new people to send various amounts of bitcoin because they think that if they send x bitcoin to him, he will get a double amount of bitcoin. I remember about the doubler bitcoin websites which I tried in the past hahaha Grin

Some of the doubler websites may be work for other people, but it does not work for me at that time. I hope people will not get trick by that offers because he will scam you, and he will not send a double amount of your bitcoin. Be careful about that, and it is better to search for the other way so you will have the chance to make your own profit.

This is very old scam method but now become most  easy way for scammers. They can't scam us if we aren't be greedy. Usually newbies are quite greedy and they are looking for earn money with easy method. But when they got scam then they would realize there is no such as easy earning method. So only incrse awareness remain the the way to save nebiwe since I believe an experienced crypto user will not fall in such as scams. Actually lack of crypto knowledge led us to this kind of scam, we need learn more and more and find legit way to earn crypto. Just take a deep look when you found giveaway (free money).

Don't get hooked and fooled with those youtube videos and channels that are so good to be true. Showing fake proofs that they earned huge amount of money to lure their subscribers especially to those who has in need of money. Be reminded that easy money earned are mostly scams. Let's all be wise on sending out bitcoin to unknown address just to double your bitcoin, there is no such thing as that. Quickly doubling your btc, unless you bet it in gambling site and you won.  Wink

This is one of the examples to not trust the things you see in the internet. For me i only trust legit reputable Crypto YouTubers and i get my news and updates from them, which they show their faces and is popular in twitter which you could have an feedback and comments to the person and many people vouching he is truly legitimate.

The process itself is already an scam attempt only those greed who wanted to have quick profit will fall to this. Doubling bitcoin
was already a scheme ever since.
Whoever fall tot this is either new to this sphere or someone who are not thinking deeper but only after to the benefits that
they will received, at the end of the day will complained getting scammed.

Bitcoin scammers are always creating tactics so better to keep doing your hard research before following anyone from this market.
There  are still good people who shares ideas.
People who are also studying and trying to assess the market and the possible movements.

It was hell a complete scam. Jeff Bezos according to the Forbes list of the billionaire is one of the top richest people in the world and he'll not going to give time to stream and invite people as he already has a lot of things to do. If we cannot find the video supporting this in a way that Jeff Bezos is actually the one talking, there's no way we can prove it to the masses.

Thanks, OP for this eye-opener especially if someone sees the video, he/she might believe it. But there's nothing for us to really worry about, bitcoin has their protocol and if ever there really is a video about it, youtube will delete it.
It is obviously a sham, why would a billionaire give away his riches, this is a good thing that there are people who are constantly hunting this scammer, in my opinion the banning part can be a tactic by the scammer because it works perfectly, maybe the person in the video is not Jeff but a deep fake, OP and other people should spread this kind of scam, not just in the crypto community because this scams will be targeting people indiscriminately.

Who still believe in this obvious scam! Who ever believe in this deserves it, why will you believe that you can use x btc to get even higher amount when you didn't do nothing to deserve it! If you believe in such is because you are greedy and deserve to be scammed. People want to make money just like that without lifting a finger.

We have seen this kind of trick and it won't simply stop as long as Youtube are going to allow these scammers to use their platform. So if you are a crypto enthusiast, you shouldn't be fooled because of so many red flags on it. No one here is giving free bitcoin, not even those who have a lot of money.

You have to think and ask yourself, will this billionaires are really giving free money? I don't think so, if they wanted to help, then have their own foundation to do so. Learn to read the signals and educate ourselves.

People would never ever learn if they wont experience such loss of money due to their greed. They do realize it when its already over.

If they do just think of sensibly on how in the world would someone give out 2x of your money by just sending them then you will surely
think twice if you are smart enough but if you are engulfed by greed.

Then expect that you would definitely deposit without any doubts and waiting for that 2x return. This isnt something new and thats why
these scammers do still exist just because there are still people who are fool enough to believe into these stuffs.

The bitcoin market is expected to rally once again and you should expected the scammers to come out of the woods to scam people and they will come up with elaborate plans to make that happen, last time we saw the ICO market that carried out the scam process and now we should expect the same in a different format. Educate everyone about the scams is the only solution.

Just spread the words about this to reach those newbies out there that don't have any idea about those scam attempts.

As much as I don't want to blame the victims here, but that's what happens when they don't use their common sense. These scammers will not stop as long as there are people who will fall on their trap. And those transfer might be from the scammers itself to make it more legit.

Kudos to Youtube for taking down these channels as quickly as possible.

There are many youtube scam giveaways right now, I don't really understand why those channels have so many subscribers even though they are giving scam giveaways, we should not encourage those people by subscribing them if we already know that the channel is doing the wrong thing we should report and unsubscribe it.

There are no such things that will double your money in just a few days, its really impossible, most of the scammers are using that line to persuade other people because if you heard that things, that would be sounds so good, so you will try it because of thinking that it can double your money. Do not believe those lines you will get scammed if you give your trust to those people.
There have lots of bitcoin doubler even in telegram. It attracts those who ant to invest but only have a little amount. It is the strategy of those scammer, to gain by joining on them which fools everyone and left with nothing. Ensure that the sites are legit before giving in because many are just a bait.

Just imagining Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk will do crypto giveaway but they require first to send X amount of money is big joke. And also the funds collected on that scammer address is from there dummy address too so that it will look very legit. I believe and trust that people in crypto space are already well informed about this scam scheme especially bitcoin doubler without doing anything.

If you have time. You can track all the address that send money in there. I'm sure that you can find same source wallet for all that address.

Youtube giveaway scams was a hot topic here not too long ago (search in beginners & scam/scam accusation sections). There were ethereum, ripple, and other major altcoin fake giveaways too. Don't be surprised if you see more in the future including twitter and facebook.

That 1amazon deposit could be fake. The transaction history makes me think that the address also belongs to the scammer/s.
