As much as I would like to join in the GLBSE trading fun, I'm having trouble getting it to work properly on Windows 7 64-bit. PM me if you might be able to help!
Hi Anth0n, you can try using this tutorial below.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/glbse-client-vmware-appliance-7912

I need to update some of the documentation and the website.

Also, I've been trying to fix some problems with deposits and withdrawls. The withdrawl issue has been fixed (dealing with how bitcoin charges for transactions, I had a very obscure bug in my code), however the deposit issue is taking more time than I had hoped.

The problem with deposits is that some people keep sending bitcoin to older addresses, now they don't lose their btc, but it does mean that their accounts are out of balance, which locks up the account(a safety precaution). I have to manually go in and check the transaction and then add it to their account to balance it.

The documentation does say for people to not re-use old addresses(can't remember where) but I've learned that people don't read the warnings, so it's going to continue to happen, so I have to deal with it. This is whats been taking my time.

I had almost finished voting and motions for shareholders when these fires started popping up.

Nefario,

u still haven't updated the Tutorial?  how do u expect ppl to navigate when they don't have the correct command line instructions?  ex: bmc user is listed.  as you know its bmc.py user

also the Windows installer instructions still aren't clear.  i don't see the step where u need to move7-8 files into a bm folder.

thank goodness Cuddlefish got me set up on 1 computer from which i do all my trading.  i still can't get it setup on a 2nd PC at work which would facilitate my trading.

Heard nefario might have to write new cryptographic library for javascript if he's going to write a web version.

Pretty sure he could borrow from bitcoinjs.org, they are well on their way...

Client definitely needs REPL, to avoid typing in the key each friggin' time.

I concur.  Running things on windows, but I keep my password in KeypassX.  It'd be awesome if I could enter my password once and issue 10 commands or so.

I'm trying to implement one in node.js, however node crypto itself has to be patched to support that...

Definitely needs a GUI to get more interest. 95% of people will see gitorious and have no idea what it is or how to use it.

I want to buy shares in stuff so bad. I wish I wasn't so terrible with computers or there was a simpler interface. One of those learning projects I keep putting off and putting off.

Hmm, I think my boss, owner of bitcoincharts.com could make fancy charts out of these data.

As title, plenty of trading going on.

DISHWARA, UBX, and our latest asset SIN.

All three have had great success in their listings so far (although DISHWARA & SIN have yet to sell all their issued shares).

Check out the trading history.
