"packages/containers half-filled with stones, sand or whatever else."

"I personally know at least 4 businessmen who've been scammed exactly this way."

Lol. What??? You know "four separate businessmen" who were delivered "stones and sand" in containers?!?! Four!!!?? From some evil foreign country. Not one. Not two. Not three. Bit four! Lol. Yeah, right! Sweet Mother of God. Are you like 14 years old or something? Do you know how foreign trade works? Ever heard of product inspections, export monitoring, supplier audits.
https://www.qima.com/quality-control-in-china - one company of about 40 which offer the same services.

And by the way, we moved pretty fast from OP is a scammer because he is a newbie to ok, maybe he won't scam you on the first few hundred thousand EUR, but if you send him a million bucks you are screwed. Eyeroll.

Since when is personally knowing 4 businessmen who've been scammed the same way something impossible? "Not one. Not two. Not three. But four!" Dude, only four. I did not say four hundred.

I think I found articles from the future related to you on the news, can you connect the dots too, mr FAIR TRADER? Shocked

And last but not least, I found an article about avoiding Chinese scams which include the supposedly impossible scenario of receiving a container filled with rocks! Check this science-fiction article out! It's almost as if what I said really does happen - oh, wait.. Cheesy
https://www.ecomcrew.com/how-to-avoid-being-scammed-in-china-the-five-types-of-scams/

Now before you start typing bullshit again, no, nobody has been fucking educated to avoid Chinese scams so there's no point in even trying to tell me how "these scams can be avoided". You know very well how to avoid and how to succeed with a scam.

By the way, thanks for quoting me - you just made me pay attention to something very interesting in the last link from ecomcrew!

Minimum order = 10,000 (ready to go in 3-4 days)

Yeah, you just exposed my real age: 14, dammit.. I thought I could hide it forever but apparently not! Now say "thank you" because I just spent 15 precious minutes of my life just writing this reply for you.

You can just give up now. You're a disgrace not only to all legit sellers but to all of us. This time I'm not saying "escrow or get out". Just GTFO.

Big warning sign to those who are willing to work with this wholesale guy. Even if the guy was to properly deliver the products on your first order, you're buying a high-quantity product which means the package will be large. It's a pretty popular scam to buy a wholesale product in high quantity at a good price and have it all perfectly delivered and then proceeding with a much larger investment which will come in shipping packages/containers half-filled with stones, sand or whatever else. I personally know at least 4 businessmen who've been scammed exactly this way.

Moreover, if you're going to try price gouging masks or any other pandemic-related items and get scammed, be very well prepared to hitting a huge wall in front of you once you cry out loud in the face of authorities. Get ready to not even have your case considered once they read that you've tried to purchase these products in high quantities to profit off a pandemic.

If you were that good of a businessman, you would have left your social media profiles, link to your website etc here. If you do not trust us because of the "nature of this forum", then how are you going to trust your customers coming from this forum? Wink

OP, I think there are lots of countries desperately looking to buy real masks for the safety of their own citizens and medical personnel. Sell them your products.

Will put a flag negative feedback on your profile right after leaving this reply and will not remove it unless you're proven to be a legit guy. Good luck with your scam and with finding someone to buy your possibly fake masks. Smiley

Just drop it.  You signed up with what can be an anonymous account asking for a trade of a minimum of $19k and want payment up front using a non reversible currency.  Are you really surprised...I mean really.  This forum has successful transactions utilizing escrow here on site, while there have been thousands of scams all of which has happened without using escrow.

What part of this do you NOT understand.  This platform isnt for you obviously.

He knows his intentions and procedure very well. I don't think it makes sense for us to continue explaining to him what's good and what isn't. He obviously isn't stupid to pay upfront a non-refundable ~€20,000 for something he isn't 100% sure will arrive.

If everything was alright and he had good intentions, he would've accepted escrow without a doubt. The only thing an escrow does is make a scam impossible, I see NO reason I wouldn't accept going through an escrow if I had to sell something. Customer receives his products? I receive my money! It cannot be simpler than that.

What happens if the products arrive, damaged? What happens if the products arrive but they are different from what the customer has actually ordered? What happens if the products appear to be legit at first sight but upon a proper inspection they're found to be fake? What if the products get stuck at Customs due to their nature? What if, right after the customer sends Sean the full payment upfront, FairTradeSean asks for another payment of a few hundred bucks due to a shipping/product price calculus error? What if the products aren't being sent at all? What if the products don't even exist?

I have looked at a few other threads in the Bitcointalk "Goods" forum and I see the same 2-3 people attacking everyone who posts an ad.

GTFO this forum then if you don't agree with us. Like it or not, we're trying to stop these fuckers from scamming people. Too many are losing money through scams in the crypto sphere and we don't want anyone to fall victim to yet another scam. You either proceed the  right & safe way for your customers or you just fuck off. I have nothing to gain from writing all these posts.

Maybe you guys need to change the forum policy and ban advertisements from people selling wholesale KN95 masks. They seem to trigger a few of you.

I have not broken any of the forum's rules. I have been responsive and given thorough replies to all questions and concerns.

Again, I repeat. No Chinese trader, supplier or manufacturer will export wholesale amounts of KN95 masks without receiving full payment in advance.

NOBODY is selling 10 k quantities of masks wholesale on AliExpress. Especially not on stock! Are you guys nuts!?!?!

Been here for years.  Have seen TONS of scams and you know what they all revolve around?  Not allowing escrow.  You keep talking about all vendors requiring up front payment, all ypu are is a forum name asking for $19k in an irreversible payment and no way to track who you are in real life.  ARE YOU NUTS?!?!

Let me ask you this, would you blindly send crypto worth $19k to a forum name who can easily book it after payment?  All those other vendors you speak of are not asking for crypto they are paid through a payment process that CAN be reversed.  And yeah we self regulate to make sure newbies dont get scammed on this site.  Take it or leave it no one will deal with you without escrow here so go to another site and deal with credit cards

"You are wrong. I bought by AliExpress by credit card and had full protection. So is clear that you’re trying to scam people."

Excuse me, I never said that AliExpress does not offer buyer protection, I said that they don't offer escrow. You still have to pay 100 % upfront obviously.

Furthermore:

1. AliExpress is having enormous difficulty weeding out fake goods right now. Go to the CDC warning page showing the most prominent types of counterfeit particulate respirators and then go to AliExpress and compare. You will see a lot of them there.

2. The Korean government has issued several warnings against procuring fake masks via AliExpress, etc.
http://koreajoongangdaily.joins.com/news/article/article.aspx?aid=3074941
I'm sorry but you are comparing platforms that offer Buyer's Protection to what you are selling and doing.

1. You cannot offer Buyer's Protection.
2. If someone gets scammed by you, be it even through a signed contract, there's a chance you can't even be punished for it IF the customer wants to proceed with the investigation of your scam.
3. You're advertising a "20% upfront" payment when, in fact, it's a 100% upfront payment: 20% from the start and the rest, 80%, after you send the photos of the so-called "ready-to-send packages".
4. If fake particulate respirators are hard to be weeded out, how are you going to ensure that yours aren't fake either?
5. You just digged your own grave - if the KOREAN GOVERNMENT has issued warnings against procuring fake masks from AliExpress and other platforms, then how in the world do we have to trust YOUR masks?

Your aim here is to buy large quantities of masks, sell them at a >200 % profit and make money. Right?

Your aim is not to spend 3 weeks fighting with AliExpress and your credit card company in order to get a refund.
Price gouging masks could lead to problems with Customs and even to the confiscation of the masks by authorities. AliExpress refunded my money within less than 3 days after my request and it affected the seller's reputation too. I'd rather fight for 3 weeks and get my refund rather than going to the cops and being told there's nothing that can be done.

1. We're talking about Bitcoin payments (I have to assume that since we're on the BitcoinTalk forum), not USD. BTC is non-refundable; a bank transfer still has a possibility of being reversed although a well-experienced scammer has the proper methods not to make this a possibility anymore.
2. Stop comparing yourself with platforms that offer you the assurance that your money WILL be returned to you. I've had hundreds of orders from AliExpress and every single refund has been successfully processed. You're not AliExpress and you could very well actually be one of the sellers they've even banned from their platform for scamming and/or selling fake goods.

I've been scammed before for a sum larger than 10k EUR. By a scammer I've signed a contract with. Smiley I tried to recover my money from the scammer and after months the USA has tried helping me, they found the scammer but they couldn't've done anything to them. The law did not allow them to punish the scammer in any way.

AliExpress does not offer Escrow because they are the escrow, so don't you fucking try to mislead me. AliExpress takes the customer's money and keeps it locked until the customer has confirmed the intact arrival of the products. If the customer says the products did not arrive or are damaged, the money is retrieved to the customer and the seller gets nothing in return (or possibly the product, depending on a case-by-case basis).

So in other words, escrow or GTFO this forum.

This is a BITCOIN marketplace.  Much different than a COD or credit card marketplace.  Just get it, we use escrow here, crypto is non reversible but I'm sure you realize that perk already  Undecided

Price? Accept forum escrow?

HedgeFx, kindly re-read the original post. The price was clearly stated. It is EUR 1.90 per piece FOB Shenzhen. Expedited air freight is approx. EUR 25 per kilo for shipping to Europe or USA.

All these people on here shouting "escrow, escrow" are cracking me up. Global demand for particulate respirators (N95, KN95, FPP2, etc.) for April and May will top 2 billion pcs. Global manufacturing capacity over the same period is less than 7 % of that. These are not 3 ply masks, people.

Escrow? Don't make me laugh. This is a sellers' market like you've never seen before. Do you really think in this unprecedented global demand environment a trader in China with clients lining up day and night to pay in cash is going to advance you any form of quasi trade credit courtesy? Of course not.

You know how many sellers are offering escrow on Alibaba right now? ZERO obviously.

I'm not forcing anyone to do business with me, and I'm doing very well thanks very much.

In this market with these products if you have stock you are king.

If you find a source that has >10,000 authentic particulate respirators from China using some magical escrow services, well good luck with that.

Welp then buyer beware.  You do realize alibaba you pay with reversible types of transactions which protect the buyer.  Inherently crypto is non reversible so HERE we need protection from the endless amount of scum that try parting people with their crypto.

In other words going forward with a transaction with someone who just made an account using irreversible currency you are MOST ASSURED to get ripped off.

You are asking for $19k with ZERO recourse for non shipment.   Roll Eyes

Because AliBaba is a PLATFORM. We have absolutely ZERO assurance of 100% receiving the products as you promise.
You know how many sellers scammed by not using escrow on BitcoinTalk? Not ZERO obviously.

What's the issue with someone asking for escrow? It's very simple: You send the products, the buyer sends their funds to the escrow and once they receive their products, you get the money. Simple as that, where's the problem? I'd have no hesitation to use a reputable escrow for a transaction. Smiley

Are you seriously thinking someone would pay a MINIMUM of EUR 19000 without having an assurance that their order will arrive for real?

Hi Alex. Almost all sellers on Alibaba will request 100 % upfront. I do not! As a buyer of PPE you would not know who you are dealing with half the time. I offer a sales contract with a European company. I also offer goods inspection BEFORE the balance payment if you have an inspection agent in Shenzhen. In other words I offer greater levels of security.

Wrong forum to sell on then bud.  There are scams left and right.  This is how successful transactions occur HERE.  Seller accepts escrow, buyer and seller agree to transaction terms (cost, shipping, etc.)  Buyer sends crypto payment to escrow, seller ships, buyer inspects at agreed upon delivery location, buyer releases escrow upon successful delivery of said product, escrow sends funds to seller.  Transaction complete.  Anything else you can sell elsewhere that's how we do it here.

Newbie asking for irreversible currency up front...

SCAM

So your concern is that I'm a "newbie"? Seriously?!?

According to your logic, foreign trade professionals with experience in supplying medical devices and PPE should not post on this forum, which is apparently a specialised trade forum. However, if someone is a crypto enthusiast or so-called crypto expert who commented on a few questionable ICOs, etc. in 2017-18 then they are "legit" even if they know nothing about importing-exporting masks or any other goods for that matter. Interesting logic.

Nailed it.
but seriously, how many times do you think people have been scammed sending BTC first on this site?

KN95 masks for sale
Standard: GB2626-2006
Mask size: 16cm x 11cm
Package: individual package, 1,000pc / carton
Carton size: 60 x 40 x 50cm
Carton gross weight: 9kg
Minimum order = 10,000 (ready to go in 3-4 days)
Price = EUR 1.90 per piece FOB Shenzhen
Expedited air freight: approx. EUR 25 per kilo for shipping to Europe or USA

Yes, I accept BTC also.

Yes I have:

1. Product registration certificate
2. Manufacturing license
3. CE certificate
4. FDA establishment registration
5. Lab report
6. Full product spec, packing list

Yes, there will be an invoice and sales contract.

No, I will not post photos of the masks or certificates on a public forum of this nature.

About me. Experienced exporter and importer of medical devices and registered pharma products for years, not a newbie to this.

I'm Irish. I live in Europe. You'll be given my web site, social media profiles, phone number, etc.

Here is how I do business...

Step 1. If you are interested please DM me and I'll confirm for you what I can get on stock over the next few days. Let me know if you need expedited air freight to USA or Europe, or whether you want to use your own freight forwarder. I'll give you an exact date when packaging will be finished (within 3-4 days usually). At the same time I'll send you the certs, lab reports, etc. and pictures of the exact samples, probably video too (depends on warehouse). If you accept my offer, I invoice you for 20 % of the price up front.

Step 2: 3-4 days later when the masks are packed and ready to go, I send you more photos of the prepared packs and then you transfer the rest of the money / BTC. You can inspect the goods before payment obviously if you have a local inspection agent in Shenzhen. Following receipt of balance the products are shipped to you within 24 hours (or released to your Chinese freight forwarder if you want to handle your own shipping).

That's it.

P.S. If you are not experienced at importing these kinds of goods, no problem. I'll hold your hand through the whole process.
