It has come to my attention that although we might have strong hands and weather this storm (bear market) what we hold might not be the most
STRATEGIC from an investors P.O.V when the bull market finally comes around!
So I would like to merely present my thoughts on the subject and see what everybody else is thinking/planning.

POTENTIAL ~
Obviously Bitcoin is KING and is thus leading the whole kingdom of crypto downhill atm ~ BUT ~ with a market cap of $116 Billion how much upside is there really? sure gold has a market cap of 7.8 trillion, but if Bitcoin achieves only 20% of gold Mcap, that is $1.56 trillion a 13 x BTC's current Mcap!
which is a lot (traditionally) but nothing like CRYPTO gains we know exist!

This leads me to think that the smaller the Mcap the better from an ROI perspective ~ Getting in early is the best thing an investor can do.
Even other greatly 'hyped' coins like ICON, XMR, ETHER, EOS, NEO and all the rest have already given their initial investors 1,000 % returns leaving the potential for a new investor minimal!

RISK vs REWARD ~
The question simply is weather one can find 'the next' Bitcoin or Ethereum.
But don't be fooled into thinking the Type of project has to be similar, this is just an ROI analysis.
In terms of RISK one can say 'how much can your investment drop', which i'm sure we are all experiencing right now in the market.
It becomes obvious that if you entered a position into a project with a medium Mcap (over 100mil) or more that suddenly in this bear market people can afford to take profits under your entry and drop your ROI considerably... in other words getting in on the ground floor means not only higher reward but also less risk provided its a solid project.
I outlined this approach in my Comedic 2.5 min vid "Retail vs VC investors | a Crypto tale ~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6cg23AnvAM

WHO's BRILLIANT ~
When coming to solid projects each has their own criteria to be met. Mine is -->
INNOVATIVE (new/niche)
SOLID TEAM (legit all stars)
RISK vs REWARD (timing)
And the list is decent, however i'm going to share 1 that has bottomed out the most and in my P.O.V could have one of the highest ROIs.

LENNDINGBLOCK.
Now before you say well thats not even a protocol, its true but they will serve as the underlying infrastructure for BIG institutions playing in the crypto space hence a 'institutional protocol'.

WHY LND?
MarketCap = $1.5mill
AKA a grand 10x ROI would only = $15 mill Mcap which, is still below CURRENT other competitors' Mcaps.

PARTNERS WITH $$BILLIONS IN VOLUME
Obviously Liquidity is an issue with small Mcap coins but LND are working with QUOINE (QASH/LQD) an exchange with $50 BILLION annual trade volume (before they have even released the WORLD BOOK where 14 other exchanges will be linked). QUOINE are using Lendingblocks platform and offer it to their customers.
Lendingblock has also partnered with OCTAGON STRATEGY a top 3 Asia OTC trading firm that clocked $1.5 BILLION trading volume in December.
Partner GENISES which offers lending and borrowing starting from 250k - 5mil +.
Also other big exchanges are in the works as stated by their last AMA - they not only look to be listed but look to be used by exchanges.

INNOVATIVE
I mentioned competitors before but in fact they haven't a direct competitor because other lending platforms offer cash for crypto collateral to everyday pple. Lendingblock is a Crypto lending platform for LONGING and SHORTING the Crypto markets aimed at institutions (also available for individuals).
The current securities Borrowed annually exceeds 1.9 TRILLION (with 16 TRILLION available) according to industry group ISLA.
This point is overlooked, when we know that securities are going to be on the blockchain, and a lot of tokens already are!

TEAM
The team are clear all stars with lead experience at Deliotte, ING, Goldman Sachs, Lehman, Deutsche bank, and more.
-->  look at their website/ linkedin.

RISK vs REWARD
I  think the reward by now is quite clear especially with that Mcap.
Risk however is important to look at, and so besides getting in at the clear 'bottom' to prevent pple dumping on you
you can see on their site their DEMO, and they do keep achieving goals on their roadmap professionally.
also in their latest AMA they are planning on generating revenue by Q4 this year.
They also have a regulatory approach (which is super important to see) and are in discussions with major players like the SEC, Gibraltar financial services commision, CFTC for clearance in the US UK and Europe.

From all my research and invested projects i do think this DApp /
institutional protocol could provide the biggest ROI. It's just a matter of time.

THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE OR INTENDED SHILLING
~ just strategy approach with an example.

Would love to hear others thoughts on this INVESTMENT STRATEGY / FAVOURITE PROJECTS right now.
