I contacted the moderator who admitted there are no rules against my post

I said that it probably isn't posted anywhere. However:
As has already been said, there aren't enough Bulgarian users to warrant an entire section, but altcoin stuff doesn't belong in the Other Languages section. So there is no valid place for Bulgarian altcoin messages, and this stuff is therefore not allowed anywhere on this forum.
If there's only one Bulgarian thread you shouldn't be cluttering it up with altcoin content.
Ah, you don't even care about the coin, you just want to collect the bounty for translating it. Yeah, definitely spam, knock it off, and stop reposting deleted messages.
Feel free to replace Bulgarian with any other language in the Other languages/locations section. All taken from this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/question-about-forum-moderation-663829

told me "imagine if everyone else made posts like you"
That's out of context. In case you missed the rest of the polite explanation I sent you via PM, here it is again:

The Other languages/locations is not made for posting translated coin announcements. These translated announcements should be posted only in language boards that have a dedicated altcoin board. For the rest of the languages, there just isn't a good place to post them. If you want, I can PM you a copy of the post. I'd suggest talking to the dev about posting it somewhere else.

Come to think of it, I don't think it's written somewhere. But feel free to browse the section, you probably won't find any translated coin announcements(if you do, report them and I'll take care of them). The reason you won't find them is they're deleted on spot. Imagine how that section would look like with dozens(to say the least) translated coin announcement threads in a dozen different languages.

tl;dr: In this post you have three admins explaining why it's forbidden to post translated coin announcements in Other languages/locations.

Thank you for confirming that such a rule isn't written anywhere, again. Also, for confirming that the reason you provided for removing the post was your statement "Imagine how that section would look like ...."
Is it also OK for you to ignore my request for the contact person to talk to if I thought your judgement was unfair?

That's exactly my point. There was no posted rules.
Yes there are. Rules for each section are posted in stickied threads for each board. You must also abide by the forum rules posted in the meta section.

It was an ICO announcement in the appropriate language section. There was no where else to post it.
Generally altcoins announcements are only allowed in the altcoins section in English.

The moderator decided he doesn't want ico announcements on his section of the forum and just removed the post entirely without even notifying me.
Why do they have to notify you? It is up to you to read and understand the rules before you post. Your notification is the notification of the deleted post.

You just proved my point. There were no rules posted regarding posting Alt Coin announcements in the "other languages" section. Furthermore, I don't prticularly understand what is expected of topics in "other language section" of a "bitcoin forum".

When you say "Generally" you are confirming that it is vague.

I would think a notification is due as a form of courtesy especially when deletion is not based on a clearly pinned rule.

What if a moderator in a section removes a topic which hasn't violated any of the posted rules, rather for his own personal preference. Is there anyone to talk to regarding this?

Moderator is the right person to share violation in bitcointalk, usually as you have do the signature spam or violating any other rules in forum means theymos will step into action.

Thanks for a truly wonderful explanation virasisog varusisog vasrasu vurasasog vatusasid virusasog, (sorry, got there in the end)
Though actually, I didn't quite understand the middle bit. Or the end.
Could one of the other you's explain further please?

It was probably on the borderline of being spam and that is why it got removed.

Was it completely removed or just moved to the off-topic area? The latter is more common if it is too close to spam I think.

I contacted the moderator who admitted there are no rules against my post, but told me "imagine if everyone else made posts like you", and didn't reply to my request for information on whom to contact if I thought what he did was unfair. is "theymos" a username?
yes, also, he's one of admins on here, https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/theymos-35
what post did you made? i doubt it if moderators removed your post without any reason.

The forum pick moderators who will do fair judgement to all so if a moderator does what you said, report it to theymos. i doubt a moderator would do that though.
There had been threads directly pointing to lauda for months already but that thread wasn't even deleted.
