I'm still going but I see people have dropped off because the mothership is taking up or the want the mainnet?

Now mining is unprofitable. Bitcoin is growing and the price of equipment is increasing. In general, mining is not the most stable type of earnings and many complain about the theft of money in it. On trading or investing with the right investment, you can get a decent income. I advise you to pay attention to trading - it is much more profitable.

I think a lot stopped mining pi because up until now, it has not hit the exchange yet. So this long, without any promise that they can get even something from their effort, better stop, right? I don't know why there are so many troubles from the Pi side just to list it in one exchange, at least give hope to those holders. How many years do they need to wait?

To be honest, I met this project through my friend. So he downloaded its apk to my phone and added his referral to earn more. I did not perceive the project as shitcoin either. But, KYC is not worth it for the project whose value is not known. I was also unaware that the project had been continuing to extend the listing for 2 years, if so, I am not.

Two years and they do not have a good presence in this forum and other crypto social media account, I read that they have billions of supply, not good if you are only making 100 daily or less, people who mined this coin since the start will just dump this in the market, they are very much centralized, I don't think they will generate support, I prefer supporting Electroneum than this Pi Network which some members are trying to hype.

They have a lot of number of users who downloaded their app. But do they have exchange already? I believe nothing yet. And also, I've read somewhere that they are asking for KYC for users, which is really not good. I don't think this project will ever come to the market and succeed. Just my 2 cents. Better not to waste your resources on this one. Been 2 years already, they should have been showing some little progress here, but there's nothing yet.

I am also mining everyday.  I joined this platform very late and i do not have any referral. My earning is very less but stil i am working on it daily. What we need we just need a single click everyday. And our earning why people stop to do this. And this app is also not heavy it dose not harn oru phone. So we do not need to worry about it that it could be harmful or not. And also we do not need to work full day we just need to tap a single click every 24 hours later. So i want to suggest everyone everyone should use this app. Otherwise if this gives us a Very good profit in future then you can think you made a biggest mistake. So try to use it.

I'm still going but I see people have dropped off because the mothership is taking up or the want the mainnet?

There was a time this Pi project was everywhere, almost everyone or instead, a lot of people were mining, but all of a sudden everything slowed down and now, nothing is heard of them again, I might be wrong but this is another proof that all these mobile mining projects do not work or last long term. However, when I tried to know what happened to the Pi hype and so on, I got to know that, for a project yet to launch its blockchain or the blockchain they are based on, doesn't really look like the team are up to the tasks ahead.
In my own opinion, this might be one of the attributes that made users to lose interest in the project, because I believe that, for an upcoming project, it is either the team launch their own blockchain such that all developments will be based on the blockchain or they leverage existing blockchains like Ethereum to achieve their aim, but such is not the case with this project; I hope the team can still do something to get back the attention of their users and community.

They are just profiting from the app users without giving back any value.
This has been my annoyance with most of these apps and there are a lot of them today. Preying on the ignorant and inexperience few. Even some experience people still gives it a trier until they realize they are unto another kill trap for your data and nothing else. I wonder how some developers just get to be so greedy and not appreciate the people doing the work for them, they just go ahead profiting and don't even care to share a little.
If it were to be that they don't profit, I'll understand but they do and don't care to compensate those who over work there devices and data to make this profit a reality for them. Too bad.

KYC is another major issue as you don't know what are the underlying intentions of the people at the other end or some staff in there organization. I'll always think twice before running a KYC with any platform, that's if I would even do it at all. Some services aren't just worth the risk no matter the reward attached.

Forget about the Pi Network, you will only be wasting your time. I also did mining for a year and it is not clear when the coins will be withdrawn.

You will to go through a lot of verification and KYC, obviously with all the verification and mining they are implementing, we can easily figure out that this is a centralized project, they do not have an active announcement here created by one of the developer, to build their community, so those who are interest to ask, object, criticize they can address, they claimed they have millions of people connected to their platform but it's the market that will judge them if they have something acceptable to investors.

I used to mine Pi but not anymore. All my friends that were so fond of it before also stopped mining because of the slow development and there has been no token distribution just a number on the screen.  Aside from that, their KYC policy turned many of us off.
At the moment their app isn't working too... Beside that on positive note there are some places that accept Pi like payment method. I found couple of places in Croatia that are doing that. Don't really know why tho since there is no value to it yet.

So far, what benefits do PIs offer their users? will the old plan be satisfactorily answered? I'm not sure about PI. because this seems to be like a fraud that is still trusted by many people.

It is suspicious

to be honest, as long as I was in cryptocurrency, I could not be interested in PI, for some reason, some strong reasons made me believe that the PI project actually could not run as expected. long enough to be part of a cryptocurrency that is just a waste of time gaining nothing.
not a few of my friends who volunteered to join them, as a result after a few months they finally quit the PI. like there are things that have been out of date and are forced to continue operating on a network that can't guarantee where it will finish. in the country where I live, PI seems to be a laughing stock.

I bet hopefully it's not a waste they switched the network to "Pi Lite" now.

I'm still going but I see people have dropped off because the mothership is taking up or the want the mainnet?

I am still mining Pi, but now Pi asks some people to do KYC and of course if I get the form to do KYC, then I will not do KYC until there is definite progress on Pi (price, exchange, smart contract, etc.), because it is impossible for me to provide my personal data with an uncertain project, so I will do KYC if Pi already has a definite progress and of course Pi can give me profit in the future.

in fact 2 years have passed and it is still not listed on any exchange and now they also require the kyc procedure, the lengthening of the times and the too strict rules convinced me to desist not to be interested in this project anymore

I see, I'm still going i'll message you after I get everything set up.

I'm still going but I see people have dropped off because the mothership is taking up or the want the mainnet?

Precisely you are asking about mining in sub Mining (Altcoins). Because there is a special discussion about mining. I have done PI coin mining, of course mining using a phone will certainly not get maximum results, because mining is recommended to use a heat-resistant device.

mining on a phone wont work with CPU or anything hire on the network sucks unless there was a way you could limit the hashrate.

I stopped mining the tokens when my anti-virus flag the app, I need to delete from my phone. A useless tokens should not be stealing my information free of charge. I believe the team do not have the best intention, when you have app stealing your data and selling it to advertising agencies that do not make sense. I will advice people to just mine it for some time, in case it worth something in future and stop mining it. 2 years is enough to deliver a good project if indeed they want to

Well i'll buy those tokens from you if I can get Piece on an exchange for Litecoin. I'm actually going to try to set something up so I can send Paperbacks to those with Pi just screenshot it and also trying to  work on a paper wallet. so you don't have to worry about virus because it is a old Qt wallet have to upgrade it or something to get ride of viruses. i'll look into it cuz I didn't make the exe for Piece

I'm still mining Pi, although until now Pi does not have a price and it is not clear what Blockchain is used, but I see the enthusiasm of people and the team is still very big and that makes me still mining Pi for now, because in my opinion there is nothing wrong with trying to mining Pi (maybe in the future the price of Pi is very high) and we also don't waste much time to mining Pi (less than 1 minute per day).

I started mining pi coins since they came out.  It is still digging every day.  The current number is more than 2,000.  Just click it every day.  It's still quite simple.  The price is not yet known.  I don't know what plans the current project team has in the future.  Just curious to dig.

I need to create a paper wallet address generator so I can send Paperbacks to y'all.

Pi is obviously a scam because mining cryptocurrency using our mobile phones can be true, but it is too good to make it a scam. I heard many people had earned a good profit from it, but I assume it is only a show to make their project look legitimate. So you should leave and stay off it because it is a waste of time.

That would suck and I was pushing it like something makes me look bad smh if it's not solid. I

I have never found the official pages of those "Stanford" founders publicly associate themselves with "Pi". The Twitter profile is an unverified account which says in its bio "Head of Technology".

Vincent McPhillip has a few videos on the internet and he seems a well intentioned guy. Pi itself seems to just be going through a phase to install itself on more and more phones along with KYC. It is more of a social experiment than a cryptocurrency that is ever going to have value in the future. The codebase is based on BitShares which has been a pretty much spent project for a long time now.

Isn't it built on Stellar stellar is a coin I think new people will go for like in 2017. I was just looking at the top 100 mostly. The ranking have changed so much since. So many coins fell out.

It's been two years I've left pi. I was discouraged when they wanted KYC of people without even delivering a blockchain or an transferable token. And from last year, all my friends have stopped using the app as the app started pushing out advertisement and failed to reach it's roadmap several times. They are just profiting from the app users without giving back any value.
I'd use it again if they gets listed but before that, I'm not going to have one more ad filled app on my phone.

That is true that's why I dropped piece to try to help the network. They might have dropped the ball people will probably sell or forget about it. I don't like how things are I need to get piece on an descent exchange.

I tried to mine Pi for quite some time but I stopped it immediately when they started to ask for our personal information.

With a coin that has no value at all and can just be get by anybody who has a smart phone, I don't want to share information to them. One thing more is their team is quite suspicious for some reasons. If there are some here who are still mining PI and sent their information to them then beware Cheesy. Good luck in selling those tokens in advance.
