I don't like KYC because I think it's unfair to hunters because KYC will reveal the privacy of the hunter and ultimately won't give us any rewards.

First, it takes time and effort. Also, not everyone wants to spot their personal passport information. and the last moment that from other accounts one person will not be able to participate in the bounty

Because of Privacy , Identification is something important and I don't like to exchange it with some tokens , I don't like it that some bounties ban some countries and they force KYC to make them stop joining , Why they do that? I am disagree with KYC asking in bounties .

Some members do not want to share thier personal infos cause it might be use in illegal activities.  Even i dont like kyc but if the project is legit o dont have choice but to submit my data.
You always have your choice and you can choose to give your KYC or not. It's not mandatory actually, if you don't do KYC, you will not get paid for your work and that's it. I don't like KYC things too anyway

Even I do not like disclosing the KYC details to any bounty program unless I know them personally or some one whom I trust has recommended as they know them directly so this gives some assurance that they are genuine people and would not turn out to be scam or can misuse the data as those are one's personal information and personal means it has to be known to that person only and not to the entire world.

I do not think that the problem is KYC, the real problem is not KYC requirement when registering for the award, but KYC requirement before distribution. later, changing the rules makes people angry.

Too busy to prepare KYC data, some bounty hunters may not have that document. so they don't like KYC. I suspect that bounty hunter is still in school and is a student. that could be the reason they don't like KYC.

These are all reasons why some people do not like KYC, but I have another one myself, why I don't like KYC. Trust! I don't want to leave my personal data to anyone I don't know. I just don't feel safe when someone else wants to get such sensitive data from me. Somehow I can never be 100% sure what's going on with my dates. Moreover each of us knows, that there are many scams in the crypto area. So I prefer not to participate in KYC.  Wink

I can explain, this info i find on bitcointalk and that is why i never passed KYC for bounty: '' In general, after the bounty of some of the companies, all those who passed through the KYC they now have their data on the network are sold for two ETHs. For the sake of interest, I decided to buy so there  documents nicknames from the forum of residence and email. That the funny thing is that through wallets you can really understand who has a lot of money and go pick up.''

It seems to me that the answer is clear, the participants of the bounty companies create multi-accounts for the purpose of getting more profit for the bounty and thus take most of the awards for themselves, thus depriving other participants of the profits, and with the KYC procedure they cannot do this for this reason reaction from their side

A lot of bounty hunters ask the bounty manager and the team of the project if kyc needed or not.
Why they ask about that?
Do you think it is good for projects and for bounty hunters to implement KYC.
What is the advantage of KYC for both.
I like to know from all and thank you in advance.
No one like to share ID unless they know who is other party. In this industry you don't know who is other party and you don't know if their names and companies are real or created on stolen ID's and one day your data might be sold and someone could do something illegal and then you will have problem.

No one is willing to share their personal info to an online website because they can misuse it for illegal purposes. So think twice when you are giving your presonal documents to ICO bounty. They are having this KYC to eliminate alt accounts.

Yes, all bounty hunters always ask for KYC or not? Because if they do not have documents to get through the KYC process, they will not follow the bounty. I think KYC is very necessary to prevent multiple accounts for bounty hunters.
In first line, KYC is necessary for scammers to get their hands on personal documents. Next, they can sell the personal data to other scammers or multiple account cheaters and the scammers make good money by selling it. Or the scammers are participating in an ICO requiring KYC and submit the stolen data to pass KYC.  Wink

KYC has no advantages at all, only for scammers.

KYC = avoid !!

I think the reason why a lot of bounty hunters dislike KYC because of the idea that some ICO scams are just selling the information (KYC) they got from their bounty participants.
Aside from fooling investors from their scam ICO, they also earned profit from the the KYC sent by bounty participants.

Because they scared to take their identity and use it to scam the others. That's why some of bounty hunter ask first if the campaign have KYC. But now a day's I think bounty hunter is immune in this because lot of project now have a KYC before we get a reward.
I think many bounties are still not implementing and requiring KYC for their hunters. That's normal that someone is scared of sending his identity to any person because its normal thinking that on internet you shouldn't trust any person with your identity. Even the legit exchanges are also being suspected of selling identities of their including emails of their customers. That's why sometimes we ask ourselves on how on Earth did we received an email from such companies.
Once we have inputted our email on somewhere then expect it do really have the tendency to be scattered that's why I do make dummy emails when I do tend to make some sign-ups
Don't make use of your main ones because these emails will surely come in no matter what would be the purpose.
Even legit ones doesn't mean we can fully trust them because they do already have our credentials they do have the full control and the decision on what they would like to do.

KYC is used to find out the identity of a person and I think it no needs to be used for a bounty hunter because for what  find out about the identity of a bounty hunter? while investors more need KYC than bounty hunters. I think KYC does not need to be done for bounty hunters, investors are more important to implement KYC.

Because even most of them have filled KYC requirements and they can get nothing as per the result of their works.  In fact that KYC needs a lot of requirements and sometimes there was a chance to the project that they have already participated to become a scam project and this will put their data on the risk.
Yeah, it's like trading your personal information for their token but it turns out that you are the one who's been fooled by them. Most bounties these days requires KYC but sad to say most of the bounty hunters avoid that kind of ICO specially if they don't see such good result on their research of that project.
At any angle bounty hunters would really end up having no choice or the ones would really be on risk no matter which option they would take. Good
project selection on initial phase wont guarantee of success. You might succeed to earn tokens without KYC but you can possibly earn trash tokens. For now
KYC requirement do signify legitimacy but not all because there are lots of scams do exist.

too complicated, I guess it shouldn't be complicated. Kyc requires an old process and the data sent does not get a security guarantee.
this is the reason for the majority, besides that KYC is easily faked.

because sometimes the KYC is requested after the ICO project succeeds not at the beginning of the ICO but at the end of the ICO.
and what is certain is that the person who does not complete KYC will usually not be paid by the project.
sometimes as a bounty hunter we don't really see how the project develops and how the process is distributed.
sometimes it also became an unwelcome conversation, because some people did not prepare it, and some ICOs did not provide the conditions when the ICO began. well, because of that, many people don't like it very much, even though that is a natural thing.
We were used on earning without doing such thing, now almost all ICO tends to do it which is uncommon that we need to do now since regulation rises in crypto world .

Because of their identity, their identity reveals after the KYC. They know very well about how does the scammers will make the bad use of that profiles. That's the reason behind on the bounty hunters hate on KYC.
It's well known in the internet that you shouldn't trust anyone with your identifications. It's popular that there's identity theft that can happen even with the legit projects. It's also a wide market that companies are doing.

They have database for those ID's and they can do anything with it such as selling, keeping and using for other things. And the worst is to get involved with a shady activity using your ID.

Why do they hate it? Actually there are two reasons why bounty hunters dislike if the project requires user a KYC document.

1. They have multiple accounts in bitcointalk forum and if they were asked to submit KYC documents they will be caught in joining the campaign with multiple accounts.
2. KYC stands for "Know Your Customer" It was used to investors to know their credibility as an investor and to do a background check to avoid money laundering and other illegal works that's why It shouldn't be asking in joining the bounty campaign since the users who joined from it are just promoters of the project.

If some campaign is asking for a KYC documents they only have 2 reasons:
1. To get your personal data
2. To avoid cheater/abuser users in the bitcointalk forum

There is no objection if the project is good but the problem is with the fake project who is asking for KYC because whether they will misuse our identity. So we have to be very careful with ICO, before joining any bounty we have to verify them in either way whether they are legit or not.

Most cryptocurrency users has been comfortable with their anonymity, they use cryptocurrency to obtain additional income or source income without being known by others. In addition, if they give their identity to an exchange or another, it is highly probable that their identity will be seen by others, especially the government, which will provide good regulation for cryptocurrency users on the condition that each user must pay taxes.
It's just hard to adopt something that requires risking our identity, so we better make sure that what were giving our identities with our with legit any legal companies having right process.

KYC implementation is part of self regulation, In bounties technically most projects are doing this to prevent cheaters from taking advantage. I am pro regulation so definitely KYC is not an issue to me, unless I found out that the project is sketchy or malicious then I will not send my personal information but only the one that are legit.

There are many  reasons project you join could be scam and your personal info be in risk, somtimes KYC is not just passport but more and hunter cant give all they need ,somtimes you do everything prject isnt scam but its failed and you dont get anything.
Its better to do KYC once the project over, they will for sure give time for those who didn't pass it yet, just keep updated, some banks related crypto will usually do KYC and I think its fine since there are different regulations stands for crypto in many countries now.

First of all not only bounty hunters will hate kyc , me myself isnt a bounty hunter but i hate kyc because this is another cause for scam . not all ico's are legit and they may use the name kyc in order to steal people's identity and they can sold it for profit or they use it for illegal activites .

Another reason is kyc is verry hassel to do . you need passport or drivers licens and you also need to take a pic yourself while holding it .  not all people can do these because not all are travelling abroad or driving a car , thats why its nearly impossible to obtain these kind of id's .

Because this is contrary to the logic of the crypto market. The crypto market must contain confidentiality, but the exchanges and the ICO projects no longer operate without kyc.
Yes, you are right and this is the main reason not only to bounty hunters but for the investors or contributors as well that will not going to agree with KYC due to the cryptocurrency offers which is anonymity.
Another thing is that the KYC will refrain bounty hunters to join their other accounts in that project for them to earn more. I had seem to see many of them cheating and enrolling an account which is being registered already copying their bitcointalk name, profile and telegram but different spreadsheet number and different paying address.

Two sides for the KYC implementation for the bounty hunters, some will agree and fine with it but most aren't because they are trying to hide their identities.

I think they dislike it because the implementation is on the wrong timing, they seem to be changing if the hunters were done with the bounty then the manager is going to change it into KYC required.

If I'm a positive person, I'd say like some of you have, that the very spirit of cryptocurrency is about privacy and the right not to give out information about yourself. Which is why private projects, ICOs and bounties in general are bad for the industry, because they are selling things to people and they want to know who these people are.

If I'm not so positive, then yeah, agree. Hunters dislike KYC because they wouldn't be able to verify all their multiple accounts. Every time KYC comes out, you hear same stories.

Maybe some bounty hunters don't have valid documents like passport and others. Or it could be that in their mind some ico campaign giving payment without requiring the applicants to pass KYC before distributing the token in the wallets to their participants. But for the centralized exchange it is really required for the users to pass KYC but for the decentralized not needed like in IDEX or Etheredelta. And I don't see any advantage of implementing of KYC in the new token in crypto either.

Because this is contrary to the logic of the crypto market. The crypto market must contain confidentiality, but the exchanges and the ICO projects no longer operate without kyc.
For exchangers this is quite understandable or considerable on asking about documentations or KYC if you are tending or plan to max your limit but eventually you wont really be forced out or totally optional.
Like Binance, having 2 BTC limit for an unverified account isnt really bad but talking about KYC on bounty programs isnt really right at all on the very first place.

I know a project which collect bounty participant's documents pictures via google form. That's a crazy thing. They must be ablosutely clueless about personal safety or just do not give a damn. I would not send my documents pic to them.
Some project are much more trustful and collect data via safe resources or 3rd party companies specialized on KYC/verification etc. So I trust projects like those.

I do not have any confidence in carrying out the verification of the kyc, because it is not known where the personal data is going after. Then in the black markets, your data appears. In order to require the passage of a kyc to start, all ico must register themselves in seconds, only after that, it will be fair to request personal data from users.

There are just too many scam ico/bounties on the market and that is why i am worried about my personal data.
For that reason, i do not participate in any bounty that kyc requires.
Although i understand why kyc is used, but as long as there are so many scam bounties, i go on safe side and not take part in it.
If everything was more secure, i would not have a problem with kyc.

Since we do talk about advantages of KYC on both sides.I do see that KYC would really able to restrict multiple accounts or bots that did abuse the bounty and also you can somehow feel the assurance
or security if a certain project do comply with their countries rules and imposing KYC because they have been told to do so but overall as a bounty participant
It isnt just right for us to be included on such compliance yet we arent investors but rather only marketers of such project.

Because this is contrary to the logic of the crypto market. The crypto market must contain confidentiality, but the exchanges and the ICO projects no longer operate without kyc.
Bounty managers are building a counteraction for bounty hunter that do farm with different account on a single campaign. Though it is not good for a bitcoin enthusiast to join and ask for a KYC thing but i guess it's kind of part of the norm that the government want to be executed no matter what.

KYC is needed to avoid from many cheaters or someone who using alt accounts to claim his bounties. In other hand, you will risk your identity to strangers.
Which one do you prefer?

A lot of bounty hunters ask the bounty manager and the team of the project if kyc needed or not.
Why they ask about that?
Do you think it is good for projects and for bounty hunters to implement KYC.
What is the advantage of KYC for both.
I like to know from all and thank you in advance.

KYC for me is not necessary needed, because there are other ico project even without KYC its still fine. Because in my experienced I was compensated in the ico without KYC and earned a lot too. In fact, even sometimes its too risky to give your personal information but I think it depends on the case of the project. But to other's opinion, there is a big chance that the token will increase in the future.

in my opinion, the importance of KYC is applied in a project. it will make the participants do their shortcomings. the advantages of using kyc are as follows.
1. The project is not fooled by participants who use many accounts that join a project.

what the bounty participants feared was because the data provided through Kyc was personal data. from that I think it is natural that most bounty participants do not agree with KYC

It is true that the KYC regulation program has benefits and the effect is not good for bounty hunters, but what I am afraid of is the identity that is misused by irresponsible people, as far as I know KYC is only for investors

I like kyc by reducing the number of cheaters and the bounty hunters will not have difficulty and get fair.
You're right, I also like that, because there are many things that can benefit. however, some people think that KYC eliminates the main nature of cryptocurrency, besides that, many bounty participants complain about it because it might be quite troublesome, especially if the conditions they have are incomplete, or have not been prepared.

Because there is no guarantee for the bounty hunter to know for what will the teams wants to do with the personal identification later. We are afraid if our identification is used for any illegal things and it's not good if we share the identity to the public. Besides that, I think the KYC is needed for the investor only, and of course, the team will also need to fill the KYC to proves that they are severe with the project. Besides that, if the team can fill the KYC too, I think the investor will give a big trust to the project so they will invest in a big amount of money for the project.

You need to ask if KYC is needed from the start to ensure that your hard work will not be wasted in the end in case you will not be able to comply with the KYC. This is the main reason of why hunters don't like KYC because they may not able to pass it also i don't favor KYC as the ICOs don't know if the submitted ID's are genuine or not in which purely is a waste of time.

Well, I think that many reasons can influence why the bounty hunters dislike the KYC.
1. It is too risky for us because we are not investor that will buy, we are partner and going to promote the [projects.
2. Sometimes, they have some accounts in the projects and too risky to send one ID for all accounts.
3. It is too lazy to do so.
However, In my opinion if we have no choice, we must do it with any risks. If the rewards are small, better not to complete KYC process.

Bounties can be deceiving, we can't say if a project is good and have a better future, KYC is for security since it avoid fraud but projects that implement KYC can be the fraud as well, identities and personal info is our own, its our data so it can't be use for different matter, and no one willing to give their identity for a token that is worthless.

Bounty hunter does not like KYC because it's quite a hassle . People who hate KYC most are cheaters . When they finish the project, they ignore and proceed to the new project. So they did not know about KYC and did not receive the bonus. But KYC is also good, reducing the big number of cheaters.

No one likes passing KYC. But, if the project is good then the requirement to pass it, will not stop bounty hunters in their desire to participate.

P.s. If you see a project without MVP then it's a scam on 90%. Don't pass kyc for it.

They ask, because they want to know in advance so it doesn't surprise them at the end. They don't like to risk their personal information in order to participate in the bounty, which is understandable. From my point of view, implementing KYC for bounties is totally unnecessary, because you can check if participants are fake or not with other simpler means.

As far as I know, KYC is mostly implemented to market investors due to scam scenarios happen with them. It could be good also to the community cause it lessen the number of scammer but the disadvantage into these, if someone with their team uses our Identify for illegal activities which could put our self into danger.

If it is just the bounty hunters here doing signature campaign, facebook and twitter then there is a reason.

They dont want to be caught of the greedy things that they are doing.
5 to 10 accounts in one campaign? How could you have different kind of identification in KYC for all of that to be paid?
That is all the reason behind it.

KYC is something that most bounty members do not want, and I think that's not really necessary. Because the bounty only accounts for about 5% of the Total Supply Token, it does not affect the ICO. KYC will be needed with the people who invest money in the project.

Because most of us do not want our identity to be known. It defeats the purpose that is anonymity. But unfortunately many projects are now implementing this because it has been made a requirement by authorities in some areas. No KYC, No ICO. So these projects have no choice really but to comply.

It's not only a matter of anonymity. Giving documents to others can be risky as there is no regulation. There is no one guarantee its safety.

Of course, it is possible to understand the participants of the bounty who do not want to undergo KYC, since they simply do not want to give their personal data or they simply do not have the opportunity to provide this data for technical reasons. Many opinions are connected with KYC and it’s hard to say who is right and who is not. KYC is needed to verify identity. First of all, this is protection against fake participants, this is when one person creates multiple accounts for participation. Further, there are nuances in the legal field. When organizations commit the creators of ico to collect data on those who invest in ico or receive profits from it. It already depends on the laws of the country in which ico is registered or conducted. But of course there are cases when due to KYC administrators are trying to reduce the number of payments to members of the bounty or even to make sure that no one gets anything. Unfortunately here we can do nothing.

Some Bounty hunters fear KYC because they use too many accounts in one campaign and they do too many campaigns so they do not have time to track information when KYC and when it ends. ... things that interfere with them so they do not want to participate.

Because even most of them have filled KYC requirements and they can get nothing as per the result of their works.  In fact that KYC needs a lot of requirements and sometimes there was a chance to the project that they have already participated to become a scam project and this will put their data on the risk.

This is also my opinion it's not worth to go into KYC if you are only going to get a few dollars it's not worth it, we can all check that some ICO that implemented KYC is not around anymore, so where will you ask where is your data going because they are not around anymore.

Yes, KYC is used to avoid fraud, and is very beneficial for developers and teams, so they can ensure a real identity, and not a criminality.

but, on the other side, KYC is privacy, it doesn't matter if KYC only uses card identity.
