This is absolutely not correct as there are Africans who believe that Blockchain Technology is the future. Take for instance countries like South Africa, who have been able to developed and built an ATM gallery mainly for the purpose of Bitcoin transactions. Maybe your perception is not accurate. There are a lot of challenges in Africa but they are embracing blockchain and crypto. The volume is low because of their economy, but I believe that very soon they will be among the most advanced regions in blockchain practical use.

You cannot that in general. I am working with many of my friends who are all based on various African countries and I believe they are all strong believers of the future of cryptocurrencies but you are stating completely different thing from my assumptions. I am sure that you are lack of update hence please go for studying what is actually happening in most part of the Africa.Many African countries are now alone getting their latest mobile network and high speed broadband networking. This could the another reasons why many people whom you met may not aware of cryptocurrencies. At the same time, different continents are having different level of crypto adoption but the good thing is even in Africa it is happening on its own pace.

Africa and in many areas of activity remains a backward continent. Only a few states can be called developing, but their revenues are based primarily on the extraction of natural resources.
This is beneficial to the Western world. Western countries are doing everything possible so that Africa will continue to remain a little developed region.

I think that the Internet is still not very common in Africa. And it is the Internet that ensures the functioning of cryptocurrencies. There are too many things should be done in Africa yet until its big numbers of people will be involved into crypto.
Because of poverty, cryptocurrency is a new type of market in the financial industry. The financial system in Africa should be very backward, so it is considered numb for the future and investment. The cryptocurrency was originally a product of the IT elite.

You can check Google trends and search for bitcoin and you will see that top searches are from Africa. They are definitely aware of the blockchain and many projects are heading with banking solutions there.

I'm not sure what you're getting at by why africa is not embracing crypto.. rather I'll say africa is not embracing ico scam instead of crypto.. luno.com recently disclosed nigeria which is an african country is their highest daily trade volume

I think the statistics about crypto adoption giving concerning Africa might be correct ,however there is room for serious improvement if they realized the great benefits associated with the crypto blockchain technology to their economies

I agree with this to an extent. But the world is changing fast and I see development happening soonest in Africa. I have heard how some Africa countries like South Africa, Nigeria as well as Egypt are embracing the Blockchain technology. So with time, this will be widespread across all countries in Africa.
Although Africa has a large population, due to the influence of the war, their technology is not advanced, and the gap between the rich and the poor is very large.

Is just because their locals isn't fully aware on this and they just ignored this opportunity and focus on the others. Government participation also is big help but I've never saw any news regarding with their support into crypto. And we take consideration also with their life status in africa which could give a big hindrances to get far from online engagement.

You have a point there, besides what would people do if they can't even stay in their houses safe if there is a war? War could really destroy everything, it is better to stay away on that area or else suffer. Besides, it is not their choice why there is a war in their country. The simple reason for this lies in awareness and lack of technological development in the region. Africa has continued to struggle with modern day innovations and the blockchain technology isn't an exception. Also, the rigid nature of governments in the region has also been a bane to the adoption and utilization of the blockchain technology. While we see many start up projects pivoting to Africa and building communities, many are still not educated about cryptocurrency there. I personally have an account where about 90% of friends and followers are from Africa (mostly from Kenya and Nigeria), and almost all of them have no idea what I am posting

I believe that the lack of activity in the use of blockchain technology in Africa is an insufficient level of education of the African countries. It will take one or two years and Africa will come closer to Europe and America. Approaching Asia is much longer. Depends on the activity of African governments.
You know there are Arab countries in North Africa and I think they have some activities too, also I remember I saw a couple of ICO coming from Nigeria or maybe even more, not knowing about something does not make it not exist, so there is definitely some activities there but ya these activities are minimal due to the limitation of technology there and it really needs to be increased.

Obviously people there doesn't even know anything of having an internet, then how would they even use a cryptocurrency? They even sometimes lack to have FIAT.
I think there is need to create enough awareness in the African countries. Then another thing i see to it, is that, where the system is compromised, such may nit work. Well, i believe they will still embrace it with time.

How can you determine if the rest have come from africa? In fact that most of icos are creating nonsense project and if you are seeing the ico that aims to provide the blockchain to the africa and that's only a click bait dude. Africa still lack of manufacture to adopt the blockchain.

You are so wrong here. Africans have been embracing financial technology long before most other continents it is just that as a continent, the people and economies still have a lot of hurdles to overcome. We talk about adoption but we forget that not everybody on this planet has internet or even smartphones. In Africa, if you don't live in the developed areas, internet is very hard to obtain and that alone means they cannot connect to the network of crypto.
But they are extremely good at financial tech with mobile phones (non smart phones). Lots of people there are using mobile payments, even more than US people! So if some day Bitcoin can just give simple use with normal devices, Africans will be very fast to join.

I think crypto is currently embracing Africa, you know that the lowest economy in the whole world is Africa. I think if investment is very small from Africa, not because they disagree but because the velocity of money in Africa is very small. therefore I have seen many projects that compile Africa as an Economic land, so that the velocity of money there grows big.

ICOs don't mean the countries are embracing the blockchain technology. in fact the more ICOs some country has the more it shows that there are more scumbags in that country who don't have any interest in the blockchain technology and are instead interested in making fiat money from the newbies who fall for their scam.
