Okay Thank you so much for that clarification, I'm sorry I am just wondering why so now, I think I have the answer already. I'll lock this thread now.

The "New" tag means there are new (unread) replies since you last viewed that thread, not that the thread itself is new.

Regarding necroposting, there is already a clear warning displayed if you try to post in a thread more than 120 days after the last post, but it seems nobody pays attention to it. Undecided

Just click any topics that marked new then click back to return same page and reload. You will not found new marked again. Its because the thread you never read or there is new reply or edit after your last visit.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but are you referring to the "new" highlighted in the image?

If so, then I think it only means there's a new reply that you haven't read yet.

I probably not gonna ask this, but I want to know the reason behind why almost all the subjects created even if it is obsolete or old are having a tag "new" beside it? Or is there any other reasons why admins are putting it?

In my opinion, we could add the tag "new" beside a subject if it is included to the time frame where we considered it to be safe from necrobumping. So members here could be aware what topics are obsolete or not.

I'll lock this thread soon.
